  • Because of declining crime in the Netherlands, the Dutch government has found new ways to use empty prison cells. With the influx of asylum seekers from other countries, those cells as now being used as temporary housing for those who are going to Europe trying to make a new life for themselves and their families. For the time being, these prisons are called home and bring a new lease on life.
