FYI Brings Comedy to the Web
September 24, 2008 8:19 AM
In this week’s edition of the New Media Minute, I’m mixing it up a bit. I visited the set of Web studio For Your Imagination in New York last week, so you’ll learn a bit about a new comedy channel FYI just launched that includes some of the best sitcoms on the Internet.
Then I’ll toss to Chicago-based new media reporter Thatcher Kamin. He attended the Chicago New Media Summit and offers a quick recap on the news and insight shared by ad agencies such as Draft FCB and ad technology firms such as MediaBank at the event.
Daisy Whitney is a reporter for TelevisionWeek and the host and creator of the weekly Web show “The New Media Minute” on the business of online video. You can and should follow her on Twitter at www.twitter.com/DaisyWhitney, where she holds weekly contests for Web video creators to have their work reviewed in TVWeek.
