Good Gimmick: The 88 record a song on iPhone

This must be why Spin referred to LA band The 88 as "biz-savvy." The members of the power-pop band just put up this video on youtube, showing them recording a new song, "Love Is the Thing", on an iPhone. It's not a bad little stunt. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets some coverage. (Worked on me, for example.)
