Meandering Through A Swing State
September 17, 2008 11:33 AM
This morning on track to the November election, ABC News spent a foggy morning in the swing state of Ohio. Whistle-stop travels led the Good Morning America gang to stomp grapes at a family winery, take a look at the food growing at the Lipp family farm, and enjoy the American county fair staple, the tractor pull. Continue to come along for the ride by checking in as ABC News covers 50 states in 50 days.
Also this morning on ABC News Travel, we take a deep breath and go beyond the Buckeye state to relax at yoga retreats. We're also keeping a close watch on Galveston families on the road hoping to soon return home after Hurricane Ike, and we'll continue to examine whether lightweight jets were safe to fly when they were certified by the FAA.

Obama: Big government only bigger!

McCain is tanking in the polls everywhere and the Repugs are panicking.
Ohio is now Obamaland. The Repugs are toast.

I would like to ask a question of those on the OBAMA EXPRESS (GMA train) When is it not o.k. for a president to pray for our troops? C.Gibson, in his interrogation of Gov. Palin, implied that this was not a thing to do. Having a son-in-law who is in the hieracy of the democratic party seems to answer that question.

Russ,
Praying for the troops is not a substitute for solviing our economic woes. I have two members of my family in Iraq and I pray for their safe return everyday.
We are tired of the Repug distractions with inimical social issues.
We have layers of problems for which the Repugs have no solutions, so the Repugs are hell bent on distracting us with lipstick, abortion and prayers.
ENOUGH.
