EL MAESTRO PLACIDO DOMINGO

November 14, 2006 6:05 PM

This week one of the top tenors in the world will be my guest on the Exclusiva webcast and podcast. No tenor has ever sung as many operatic roles as Placido Domingo has - more than 120 live and recorded parts. If you have a comment or want to ask the Maestro a question please post it here. We will record the interview tomorrow Wednesday, November 15 at 7:30PM ET. You can listen to it on I-tunes or see it on ABC News Now starting Thursday 1:05PM ET.

Hallo, having attended Maestro Domingo's last Parsifal in Vienna ( wich was absolutly extraordinary!), I would be interested in asking him wether he is planning to sing the role again in the future or not!

I hope he will.

I understand that you are opposed to the use of microphones in operatic performances for traditional reasons. But consider: if modern sound engineering had been available to the opera houses of the past, do you, as the general director of several opera houses now, believe that those older house directors would have refused to accept it? Also, what does that do to your proposed incorporation of ILM's special effects in the upcoming Ring production? (Gotcha!)
