Barack & Bill: From Cold War to Cool Peace

October 29, 2008 10:06 PM

Rt_obama_clinton_080624_main Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton are moving from a cold war to a cool peace. Clinton is out there campaigning with Obama in these final days in several states including Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

He and Obama campaign together tonight at a rally in Florida for the first time.

Obama has been praising the Clinton record more and more in his speeches, something he hasn't done before.

Obama has also been reaching out to Clinton privately more and more, sources tell ABC News.

He called Clinton a couple of times during the financial crisis and consulted with him after President George W. Bush announced that he would have the foreign leaders come to deal with the financial crisis after the election.

So Obama is reaching out more and more, and while there's still some healing to be done, the relationship is getting much better.

Democrats are healing old wounds. Republicans are opening new ones.

Why do I wish the LA TIMES would release the video of Obama praising the PLO terrorist as HEROS and calling Israel the TERRORIST

Posted by: thorfinn | Oct 29, 2008 10:26:48 PM

We should all be thankful to Obama for shutting down the corrupt Clinton era in politics! Thank God he (and the Democratic party) sent Hillary packing! Thank you Hillary fans for realizing the wonder of Obama and for supporting him now!

Yes out with the Clintons and in with Chicago style Obama CORRUPTION that will make the MAFIA look the boy scouts

Posted by: Mihan | Oct 29, 2008 10:35:47 PM

I think a better info-mercial would be the one where Obama is calling PLO terrorist HEROS while at the same time calling Israel TERRORIST..

Bill is right. Obama can not be trusted.

ABC: Should not print some of these comments of these people that are mentally deranged. I always look forward to these comments, but, not this time. it is below my God given intelligence. So long.

I wish more would be said about why Al-Quaeda supports the McCain/Palin ticket.

Most Polls now show Obama with a lock on 25 states and Wash DC .. that is more then enough Electoral votes to win it .. if he can win Ohio, Colorado, NC, Nevada and Pennsylvania he will probably end up with about 350 electoral votes

Jews Against Obama has a petition to sign demanding that the LA Times release the video of Obama praising the Jew-hating Khalidi:

To the Press:
Please check into a story pertaining to Credit Card Fraud. Scott Johnson, a Minneapolis attorney was just on Fox stating that Obama is not screening credit card donations.
What that means is that voters can buy a prepaid card and donate to his campaign.
The month Obama received 150 million dollars of donations a doner named “Hitler” even donated to Obama.
Please investigate this story.
Fox news: October 29, 2008 5:50 PM est.

Secondly, the "red phone" add!
Lastly, REVEREND WRIGHT!

Thanks.

I loved this infomercial. I related and had tears in my eyes. I have been temping for 2 years. I need a full-time job with benefits. I am one of those people and my husband also who put off going to the doctor. We have exhausted our 401k. We are encouraged and inspired.

I appreciate someone willing and wanting to fight for middle class America. We have not had a voice for Eight years. We have survived. If Obama can deal with the attacks for 6 more days, he can count on me and my families and those with the same story to vote him in the White House. I love this country and I love these people so much, we do have the strength to fight against the attacks and SMEARS for 6 more days.

OBAMA/BIDEN 2008 - You ignored us for 8 years. We have suffered more than any Americans since the 1930's. We will ignore you on November 4th. We deserve a president for all of the people and not just a lying plumber who's trying to get a book deal.

I find it ironic that Obama gets his shorts all twisted about wanting to curtail the influence on an individual congressmen by lobbyists since he has just put the icing on the cake of buying an election.

ABC team, why do you let the deranged posts like that "Posted by: tabby" stay?

Posted by: Ludmila | Oct 30, 2008 12:21:45 AM

thorfinn, you fool there is no tape like that you are a Republican blogger out there to spread lies..but it is not sticking like it did with John Kerry..you Republicans are pathetic losers!

Posted by: Stanley | Oct 30, 2008 12:28:02 AM

With the shape our nation is in, I am suprised of some of the comments above. I for one lived better in the Clinton era, and under the Republican control my pay and benefits keep going down, 2 layoffs in that 8 year period. I will vote for Obama, because I do not want the same of the last 8 years and that is what we will get with McCain. And the Republicans do not care.
