McCain's Path to 270 Hard to See
November 04, 2008 9:33 PM
ABC News has projected Ohio for Barack Obama.
The McCain campaign didn't have a map to 270 that didn't include winning Ohio.
And with Pennsylvania projected for Obama -- unless something staggering happens -- it's hard to see how John McCain gets to 270.

Dear Bah (and other like Bah):
We, the thinking, intelligent people of the US ask you to put down your beers and remotes and realize that almost ANY change from the current Washington-set is a change for the better.
I have been SO SICK of the lies and corruption of the Bush Admin that I would vote for almost ANYONE ELSE not part of or close to that gang of lying thugs.

great, take your money out of the market and hope you keep your job. the greater depression is on its way. how can we elect someone as clueless as obama? hopefully the presidency is bigger than him and he is set straight when he walks into the white house. if not, lets learn to speak russian.

Send Palin home... she is toast.

can you explain here or on tv how ohio has gone to obama w/ 12% precincts reporting or mccain winning mississippi w/ 25% of precincts reporting?

Even my husband who freely admits to being racist....never seeing a black person in a positive way.....voted Obama because he could see beyond the color and find the heart and soul of a true leader.

Why is Obama projected to win New Mexico when the numbers there have changed to be in McCain's favor?
Posted by: Gina | Nov 4, 2008 9:54:50 PM
Yes, it seems the McCain effort fell short. Conservatives can now only look forward to 2012, when Mitt Romney, with his expertise in financial matters and his proven ability to turn around failed companies and organizations (like the US Olympic Committee) , will almost certainly be the Republican nominee. He will blow the failed Obama administration away, much like Ronald Reagan swept the failed Jimmy Carter administration out in a landslide. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana will probably be the Republican VP nominee. And sanity will return to the electorate.

Let us all unite. It's over. When Bush won in 2000 and 2004, I was immensely disappointed and felt that this country was going to suffer, but I accepted him as my Commander in Chief and supported the invasion of Iraq and just kept working hard as a good American citizen. I was immensely moved by Bush right after 9/11 and he had my full support in the early phases of the war on terror and Al Qaeda. I stood by my President even though I couldn't stand the guy before the elections. Please, Republicans, stand by your new President that the American people have elected and let's make America great again!
