Khamenei in Coma?
October 14, 2009 6:46 PM
Rumors rampant. Have been wrong before. If right, will ruling regime close ranks or break apart? Rafsanjani's moment? Necessitate a stall in nuclear talks?
Here's more from Michael Ledeen.

Totally absurd.

Come on! Take a tip from Glenn Greenwald on Twitter. Ledeen has been pushing this rumor for years. While you're at it, Perez Hilton says Castro is dead. I say run with it.

Ledeen pulled this one years ago. My goodness you are a sucker.

Does the name Hindenburg mean anything here?

I am not surprised Stephenopoulos is the first American journalist I've seen jumping into the hype. Aside from doing his typical journalism without fact-checking, the blurb on this piece is ridiculous. Someone get this guy a source, and a grammarian.

Keep your fingers crossed!

Ledeen? LEDEEN? Are you serious?!? Is ABC serious? You all know what kind of warmongering Nutzi he is. Promoting his propaganda is far past irresponsible and I'm surprised it isn't criminal.

George, You are absolutely right. Russian sources - he is dead (or almost/near).
Now the situation is more dramatic.
Afghanistan exposure and Iran and Pakistan nuclear. US have move very firm and swiftly!

He is the ONLY U.S based journalist reporting this. I have not even heard it on live tv news still. Unfortunatley this is a rumor.... what a tease! (Not the journalist, I mean the rumor)

Your show is great.
Speaking about Iran, you know the 7 Baha'i leaders have been held in Evin Prison for more than a year and are supposed to go on trial on October 18th. The charges against them are baseless. Given the Baha'i religion largest minority faith in Iran, this is major news.
