MoveOn to Fund Primary Challengers to Any Senator Who Blocks Up or Down Vote
November 05, 2009 3:29 PM
In the wake of Tuesday’s vote democrats have made hay of a GOP civil war but all is not well on their side either. Move-On and Democracy of America are putting up $3.5 million to fund primary challenges against any Democratic Senator who blocks an up or down vote on the public option.
Liberal democrats have been at war with centrist democrats throughout the health care debate. Remember this ad against Nebraska’s Ben Nelson:
That drew rebukes from several senators including Chuck Schumer. Will those same senators tell Move-on to stand down too? Or, at the end of the day will any democrat block a vote on the public option?

Nothing like an extremist movement, to try to dictate to the rest of the country, how it should act.

MoveOn.org is a bunch of loons. I get their emails all the time and wonder to myself who is stupid enough to believe what they say. If Senators are going to give into a special interest group like MoveOn instead of doing what's right for their tax paying constituents then they should be voted out of office.
Plus when the 20 & 30 somethings find out how bad this health bill is for them MoveOn.org and Democrats will pay the price.

AARP sold out their members. Pelosi has broke her promise to keep the final bill up on the website for 72 hours. Her word isn't worth much. And the Medicare actuary will not have the medicare costs figured before the vote. So typical of the Dems totry to push this through without all the info, trying to sneak it past the voter. This bill is a disaster for our medical system.

Their gig is up...Americans now know what they are about and we will be prepared for them..They are liberal Democrats who want to bully everyone and control all, but it will not work this time.....THEY DO NOT REPRESENT MOST OF AMERICANS.

Thomas Jefferson was right "what we have most to fear is an uneducated electorate". Remember due unto others as you would have done unto yourself!

They'll put their money where their mouth is and a whole lot more. They've done it before and do it again. Too bad they don't believe in "fact" check documentaries.

People that judge what will happen in an economic environment with little or no economic knowledge are frauds. THAT'S WHY COMMENTS ON THESE TYPES OF SITE ARE POLITICALLY MOTIVATED AND FILLED WITH DECEPTION OR JUST SIMPLY UNINFORMED AND IGNORANT CONSERVATIVES.

Progress is a forward motion. If you are not moving us forward then moving us no where or backward is not anything but hurtful. I looking at many commentors. I see agenda based language that reeks with the stench of conservative propaganda. The NEW NAZI PARTY.

Hurry! Plenty of employment opportunities coming up with the NEA. They will have plenty of government money to put together the campaign media for 2010. Care to guess for which political camp?

"Liberal democrats have been at war with centrist democrats throughout the health care debate."
Just compassionate, tolerant, Dems celebrating their big tent.
