Driving Under The Influence a Bigger Problem in North, Government Report Finds
The upper Midwest has the worst drunken driving rates in the country, according to a government report that says 15 percent of adult drivers nationally report driving under the influence of alcohol in the previous year.
Wisconsin leads the way. The federal government estimates more than a quarter of the state's adult drivers had driven under the influence. Click here to see where other states rank.

It was longest cigarette break of Nicholas White's life.
The 34-year-old New York production manager was working late one Friday night in October when he went outside for a smoke.

Mass. Woman's Fatal Injury Points to Overlooked Dangers of Top-End Cheering
When the news broke that 20-year-old Lauren Chang of Newton, Mass., had died during a cheerleading contest last week, there was one person who was not shocked. Jessica Smith, a 19-year-old Californian, says that's because it almost happened to her.
Chang died on April 14 during a meet in Worcester, Mass., after she was accidentally kicked in the chest while performing a "basket catch" routine. Click here to read more.

Alcohol, consumed even in small amounts, increases the risk of breast cancer and particularly estrogen-receptor and progesterone-receptor positive breast cancer, a new study shows.
The findings are followed by a second study that found an association between breast cancer risk and two genes involved in alcohol metabolism. Read more here.
