Derek Jeter and WePlay

After sharing some rare pictures of a young Derek Jeter, Jeter talked about one of his newest projects called WePlay. According to the Web site, WePlay's mission is to "enable and enhance the joy of sports for kids, families and coaches both online and on the field."

What Dolls Tell Us About Race in America

In the 1940s, the nation was captivated by an electrifying experiment by legendary sociologists Kenneth and Mamie Clark. They asked black children about two dolls, one white and one black.
The majority -- 63 percent of them -- said they'd rather play with the white doll. Most said the white doll was nicer than the black doll and in the most poignant answer of all, 44 percent of the black children said the white doll looked most like them.

Ameri-Cans at Florida State: 'Protect Our Professors'

Students at Florida State University are banding together to save their professors from losing their jobs through a serious effort at fundraising. Student leaders across the campus, led by the senior class officers, are hoping to raise $100,000 to keep the professors where the students think they belong: in the classroom.

Buenos Aires on a Budget
