John Berman has been at ABC since 1995, and allowed to appear on television since 2001. He covered the 2008 campaign extensively, following John McCain and Mitt Romney during the primaries and then Barack Obama in the general election. He also spent more than 20 months chasing George W. Bush around the country as a producer from 1999 until 2001, earning the clever nickname, "Pain in the Ass," from our 43rd president. He is a frequent and sometimes welcome contributor to all of ABC's broadcasts.

6:50 pm MT: No, not Aretha. But how many speakers--like Al Gore just now--have gone out of their way this week to say they respect John McCain, shortly before bashing him? How many Republicans do you think will say the same about Barack Obama next week?

...what's to respect, Mr. Klein? Well, there's the 15 year relationship with a man who planted two dozen bombs, including the Pentagon, the Capitol, and NYPD headquarters. Mr. Obama kicked off his political career at this terrorist's house (who said in 2004 he wouldn't rule out setting more bombs) and then met with him many times spending grant money together.
If it werent for his terrorist friends exploding the nail bomb in NY that HE DESIGNED, who knows how many military personnel would have died. It's not a smear to point out Obama's complete lack of judgment in befriending this monster. Any 10 year old kid can tell you to not be friends with cop killers, for God's sake!!!!!

will someone please tell me why this man is so appealing? I have tried to find it, but it just isn't there. He promises change.... change what??? what is he going to change???? he has had over a year to tell the world his great plan for change, and we have heard NOTHING!!! Raise taxes? No drilling for oil on our OWN land? That is the only thing I have heard about this man.. NONE of the media will say anything negative about OBAMABOT, but why?? My gosh, people, get the stars out of your eyes and wake up!!!
