BREAKING NEWS: ABC News has learned that scandalized golfer Tiger Woods will break his silence with a statement to the press this Friday at PGA headquarters in Florida.
For now, Woods, who essentially has been in hiding and seeking treatment since the early-morning crash the day after Thanksgiving, will reportedly read 5- to 7-minute prepared remarks and take no questions.
Still no word on when Woods will return to golf. The next PGA Tour tournament, the Waste Management Phoenix Open, begins February 25. Also no word on the future of his marriage with wife, Elin, pictured here with Woods before his rampant cheating was exposed.
