KOSISTAN
July 13, 2006 2:35 PM
We're here at the Berkeley home of Markos Zuniga (aka the influential blogger DailyKos, whose site gets approximately 500,000 unique visitors a day). His wife and son Aristotle are not around; we're waiting for the crew to set up. Kos is at his Apple laptop.
What does the home of a blogging kingpin look like? Very nice and homey; midsize lush gardens in the front and backyards; immense plasma TV; guitar in stand. Hard to tell what it looks like in normal life right now since the living room is currently clogged with lights, cables, wires and cameras. Plus the family just moved in here and is still bringing in furniture (and Kos says he and his wife don't care for the green walls in the living room.)
Interview pending....

Great!! I can't wait for this interview! You've already set him up as a "kingpin" who lazes in "lush gardens" with his "immense plasma screen TV" soaking up all the fuss about him with the lights and cables for the impending interview. You have already painted a picture of him as a subversive, mafiosa, "man-behind-the-curtain" who is also egotistical and just wants to see his name up in lights.
Clearly you are coming at this interview fair and balanced!
