If the alleged terrorist-supporter was on the other foot
February 20, 2007 8:46 PM
Provocative question of the day:
If a major contributor to the Democratic party had been indicted for allegedly trying to provide material support for terrorist training camps -- as happened to a GOP fundraiser ON FRIDAY -- what would happen?
What would be the response on talk radio?
Cable news?

Not such a provocative question, Jake. I think everyone knows full well what the response of the chattering classes on talk radio/cable news outlets would be if the donor contributed to the Dems: they'd be screaming that the sky is falling while they're loudly denouncing the Dems for supporting terrorism. I find it extremely interesting, and more than a bit curious, that the same ultraconservative pundits aren't talking about this on their shows now. What's the matter folks? Isn't sauce for the goose sauce for the gander?
