Then why are we just in limited places? Bush dumbness? Then we need to be in all countries, that are willing to have peace,if not we infiltrate and monitor, we dont give them passports or transport the terorrist family`s around, because of retrabution, start working with the governing bodies, train and have covert troops in with their military, police,
and track any group or people bent on harming ANYONE or country with terorrist acts.
Bush could close the borders TODAY, he has the power, but instead would rather let the enemy walk into the USA. I do not know if Obama is a Coward, and you have a bridge to sell?

Appreciate that, ML--it's getting tough to separate the Steak from the Sizzle these days, isn't it?

JB - So you know more then everyone - Al Qeada is in over 60 countries ok - They are in Iraq. Are you that blind that this enemy is not in one location. We are capable and are doing it fighting a war on multiple fronts.

Obama is a coward, and he is an insider of Washington, if you do not believe that I got a bridge to sell you.

These players are vying for the Granddaddy of all prizes. Every time they open their mouths, they risk losing, unless they say something that has been polled, approved by their senior staffs, and laundered thoroughly. All the Youtube questions were available to the candidates before the debate--they just didn't know which ones would be used. So my guess is that Obama's debate answer was calculated to get the response from Clinton that it did--and his strutting before a safe group of liberal sheep was designed, too. He wants to position himself as the brilliant outsider who knows more about running the country than the dolts in D.C. I think polls show that most Americans think of themselves as just what Obama is trying to become. Of the five Presidents elected since Watergate, four have been Washington outsiders, and all were accused of being naive on foreign policy by their opponents. All four responded that they did have some foreign policy experience--all of it positive and successful, while their opponents' more extensive foreign policy experience included many, many mistakes. Of course Obama doesn't have the grasp of foreign policy that other Democrats have. He's just going with a proven, winning game plan. Americans often elect successful players--not successful Presidents.

"I majored in International Relations"?! He sounds like he's running for President of the Student Body, not President of the United States. Maybe he could get an internship at the Council on Foreign Relations next semester;) It was foolish comment.

I think the point that Obama was making is that Bush's several years of foreign policy experience have certainly come to naught! We cannot bully the world, detente and diplomacy are tactics.

Homeland security consists of a color scheme, our guard is off securing Iraqi borders and our border patrol officers are in jail for doing their jobs. This administration is filled with corruption, hiprocracy, incompetance and secrecy, many of it's policies are not only asinine but illeagal and in many cases unconstitutional. This administration will be debated in history and in many cases the courtroom for years to come!
I think Obama would do a good job, at this point I would be happy if anyone just DID their job!

I agree that Obama would have better judgment because he doesn't see everything through Washington colored glasses -- the US is different than Washingtonians know nevermind outside this country. We used to see that on the nightly news and in print know you have to search for world news if it isn't sports related. Other countries are not a virtual reality of every little know gossip is this really healthy or just what this administration ordered???? -- ever think that the gossip media blitz started after FOX used it and now the successful media wants to compete with the Noise. It would be nice to have a world view and perspective of our country -- better than same ole, same ole.
Having traveling outside our country; especially when my daughter was in school, I have spoken with people who have more knowledge of our government than the average Joe on the street -- and having worked in IT I have had very interesting political conversations with those from India and Pakistan again they have a lot more knowledge of this government --

Jake,

Great article. And, I know you read your comments so I decided to write one.

Look at what Obama says:

"You know, I majored in international relations."

Now, look at his MySpace profile:

Knowing how to fight, 101
Never turn your back to the Enemy, or let them get away.
Bush has done both.
I dont consider the Extreamist Muslums, now in Iraq, people that attacked us! That would be the Talahban, Bin Laden.
Bush should, but will not, offer 1 Billion dollars for Bin Ladens dead body. Why? Spending 12 Billion per month in Iraq. We dont know half the deals this administration has made.

It seems that, after the South Carolina "debate," Sen. Obama is feeling as invincible as a Time-Warner character from the planet Krypton. But, like the Man of Steel, Sen. Obama has a fatal weakness, too. Just whisper the words "Tony Rezko" within earshot, and he'll fold like a cheap umbrella.

OK so his meaning is because he stayed in other countries he is best qualified. So what is he playing off that hotel commercial where they say I am expert because I stayed at...

He is so naive!!

My question is why is the media having closed door meeting with Libs, I thought they were suppose to be objective not conspiring with Libs.

This is proof that the media is so far left it is scary.
