Fight! Fight! Fight!

In an interview with the Quad City Times of Iowa, (LINK) Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, assailed a response from Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, at the Youtube debate last night as "irresponsible and frankly naive."
A Youtuber asked whether candidates would "be willing to meet separately, without precondition, during the first year of your administration, in Washington or anywhere else, with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea, in order to bridge the gap that divides our countries?”
Obama's response: "I would. And the reason is this, that the notion that somehow not talking to countries is punishment to them -- which has been the guiding diplomatic principle of this administration -- is ridiculous."
Clinton's response: “Well, I will not promise to meet with the leaders of these countries during my first year. I will promise a very vigorous diplomatic effort because I think it is not that you promise a meeting at that high a level before you know what the intentions are. I don't want to be used for propaganda purposes. I don't want to make a situation even worse."
Team Clinton has seized this moment, believing it demonstrates that Clinton is "ready on day one" while Obama is just a smarty-pants freshman in over his head. In a conference call, Bill Clinton's former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, said "Having been involved in this myself, I think she showed a very sophisticated and nuanced view of what really happened, and for me, it shows the kind of experience she has."
The Obama folks, however, say Clinton is going negative, promises more of the same Bush-style diplomacy, and they have been circulating a quote from April where Clinton said, "I think it is a terrible mistake for our president to say he will not talk with bad people."
It is interesting timing for Clinton to be introducing pejorative adjectives into the debate. I thought she had a strong night, but focus groups of Democratic voters had Obama winning....
What say you?

Clinton's response: “Well, I will not promise to meet with the leaders of these countries during my first year."
To illustrate the total hypocrisy of Conniving Calculating Clinton, here are her comments on April 22 in DECORAH, Iowa: Hillary Rodham Clinton on Sunday criticized President Bush's foreign policy, and said if she were president she would do things differently, including beginning diplomatic talks with supposed enemies and sending envoys throughout the world.
"I would begin diplomatic discussions with those countries with whom we have differences, to try to figure out what is the depth of those differences," said Clinton, who spoke to about 1,000 people at Luther College in Decorah in northeastern Iowa.
She will say and do anything to gain power. She will out-flip-flop flipflopromney. Such people should not be trusted.

Experience an interesting word. However it does not imply wisdom and knowledge. Let examine what happens when leaders do not talk. 1. Iran supporting our demise in Iraq. 2.Iraq a sink hole of billions of dollars and much more important 500,000 Iraq lives lost and US deayth total approaching 4,ooo and 30,000 wounded. 3. North Korea explodes atomic warhead. Has the world been safer over the past 16 years because of experience? Amazing. Who would you trust someone who is strident and insist that he/she will not speak with leaders of other countries she disagree's with or someone who realizes to know your potential foe is to engage them. I choose the engager I see the result's that not engaging has created. As a wise person said stay close to your friends but even closer to your enemies. Oh yes I forgot the solution is to send a diplomat.

Hilary finally says something that is smart and pulls her ahead of the pack and she is attacked. Obama showed his nieviness.
FYI Obama The policy of not meeting with these dictators/terrorists have been the policy of the U.S. for ages, this was not a new policy of Pres. Bush.
Obama is playing to the Left wing nut jobs in this country that sing kumbaya.
Remember Chamberlain talking with Hitler?
Now I will never vote for Hilary or any of the other anti-american libs but if no choice, meaning not even Mickey Mouses runs then Hilary would be the best pick.
Nightmare.
I recommend anyone planning on voting for any of these libs to read or watch 1984, best picture of what you will get with any of them.

I think she's completely right. Obama is just giving "pretty" answers. Sure, it sounds great that he'll meet with anyone, but Hil understands that you don't make promises that might be dangerous to keep. Obama is just too inexperienced. He will not make a good president.

Are any of the democrats running for president, NOT a socialist??
Listen to their answers people!
No one from the debate deserves to be our president.
Maybe president of France, or PM of Canada, but certainly not our Country.

I'd say she's introducing pejoratives into the debate to show her mastery of issues precisely because "focus groups of Democratic voters had Obama winning." I agree with Sen. Clinton's reasoning why she wouldn't automatically meet with whoever appears in her doorway, but she's incorrect in labeling Sen. Obama's comment as "irresponsible" and
"naive." I think she's turned up the volume on her outrage a bit too early.
