Secrets of the Spin Room

July 24, 2007 4:45 PM

HERE'S THE FREE VIDEO of our trip to the Spin Room at the Youtube/CNN debate in Charleston, SC, last night…and an answer to what do Entourage and Ghostbusters have to do with presidential politics?

Enjoy.

After viewing the Spin Room report, I conclude that now it's official: there are no longer any boundaries between show business and politics (which used to be called "show business for ugly people"). I see that we've finally paved the way clear to elect a celebrity with no political experience and with no one obviously the wiser. Is Oprah listening?

By the way, Jake, the "guy from Ghostbusters" you were pointing out was the talented Ernie Hudson, who's done much more in his acting career than serve as Bill Murray's comic foil. (Rent a season of the HBO series "Oz" to see what I mean.) And, if I'm not mistaken, you were also speaking to Adrian Grenier, star of HBO's "Entourage." After all, if you're going to cover celebrities, you need to know their names!

Those are Presidential candidates? And we wonder what the rest of the world, sees? and therefor is less inclined to help us.
