Right now we're taking a look at the controversy involving GOP presidential frontrunner Rudy Giuliani who yesterday in Ohio said of 9/11 workers with serious health troubles: "I was at Ground Zero as often, if not more, than most of the workers ... I was there working with them. I was exposed to exactly the same things they were exposed to. So in that sense, I'm one of them."
Giuliani's comments angered many rescue and recovery workers, though today Giuliani attempted to clarify what he meant to say…. (READ MORE HERE)

The mayor did an outstanding job after 9/11, there is no question about it. These Lib pundits from the Union are full of lies. See the Firefighter and Police officer support Giuliani, unfortunatly this one of those where the Union does not listen to its members and are donator's to the Lib party
First even if your last statement is true Chuck, what is wrong with wanting proof, see there are scum out there that take advantage, it has happened, look at the billions that were conned after Katrina, and even after 9/11, people saying they lost someone and did not. The Left wing media push for an officer that said he was at the towers, but then it was found out that he worked no wher near them. So come proof should be required.

Although Mayor Giuliani likes to portray himself as the decisive, dynamic leader who handled the 9/11 crisis effectively, he conveniently neglects the real heroes of that fateful day, the police, fire, and other rescue workers who were exposed to far more contaminants than the Mayor ever will be. A telling factor of Mayor Giuliani's record is his astounding lack of support for the brave men and women who now suffer permanent disabilities due to their exposure to the 9/11 devastation. Many of their disability claims have been disallowed due to lack of proof--a sad commentary on Mayor Giuliani's "legacy."
