McCain's new mailer
January 10, 2008 9:18 PM
Eight years ago, John and Cindy McCain saw their adopted Bangladeshi daughter Bridget dragged through the slime by Bush allies who told South Carolinians that she was the result of an inter-racial extra-marital affair.
This week, the presidential campaign of Sen. John McCain sent out a mailer extolling his anti-abortion credentials, in which Bridget is prominently featured.
"Cindy cradles little Bridget, a baby she and John adopted in 1993 from Mother Teresa's orphanage in Bangladesh," the mailer reads, with a photograph of Cindy cradling a baby Bridget. "Bridget has been a great blessing to the McCain family," the mailing says. "Today, Cindy and John work together to promote adoption and to help women facing crisis pregnancies."
The front of the mailer reads: "Pro-life. Not just recently. Always. Never wavering."
Check it out HERE.

McCain and Huckster might have been pro life "longer" than Romney....BUT at the end of the day all three are on the side of life. Romney admits he made a mistake to think he could personally be anti abortion but still respect others choice to abortion. However, I will remind all who vote Republican that we are not the party that wants big gov controling everything...so lets leave abortion to the states and move on to the issues that are actually going to impact the 08 election. Immigration, war, and economy. If anyone thinks that Huck and McCain are going to run the country any different than they ran their state and Senate.....then I have some ocean front property in Arizona that I need to sell to ya. Huckabee is a liberal according to Cato...and if Cato calls you a liberal that is really saying something. McCain ruined any chance he has by sticking his head up Kennedy s butt and shoving amnesty down Americas throat.
Romney is the only conservative aside from Thompson. But, Thompson lacks all the gumption, funds, articulation, etc that Romney has.

Wendy,
I think it only matters if he is a baptist. It doesn't matter if he wouldn't make a good president. It doesn't matter that the only education he has is a 2 1/2 year degree in religion. We should just be happy he is a baptist.

Romney has ideas and experience to back up his claim for change. My question is what will Huckabee do for Michigan?Once the retoric is over, what will Huckabee actually have going for him? What will he bring to Michigan to make a difference... his compassion? What will compassion do? Compassion without works is dead? People can wallow together in their sorrows, but what will bring the needed change? Huckabee is a scary prospect for an office as important as President of the United States. The challenges facing this nation are surmountable if we get the right leader, but with the wrong leader we could see our troubles increasing at a rapid rate.
Mitt Romney has had more positive economic turnaround experience than any other candidate. McCain will turn his attention to the war and forget all other issues. He has a one focused mind. He has lived "war" his whole life and that is not what a balanced President needs. I appreciate that he handled being a prisoner of war with honor, but I won't hand him the Presidency because of it. He talks about Reagan politics but his record is off course. I also think his lack of self control will be a hinderance to him in foreign policy.
McCain is in this race for himself(I), Huckabee is in this race for the "spotlight" ( watch me) and Romney is in this race to make a difference for Americans (US)

Yet, even though I don't remember even hearing this aspersion it doesn't negate his many other previously closeted liberal leanings;
