New anti-Huckabee 527 to launch ad tonight on Fox
January 10, 2008 5:06 PM
Tonight on Fox News Channel: the last Republican presidential debate before the Michigan and South Carolina primaries.
Also to air tonight on Fox: a forceful new TV ad against former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, which tells the story of Wayne DuMond, a rapist whom then-Gov. Huckabee suggested be paroled, after which he raped and killed at least one other woman.
The ad features an older woman, Lois Davidson, who says to the camera: "My name is Lois Davidson. My daughter was raped and murdered by Wayne DuMond."
The announcer then says: "Carol Sue Shields was brutally murdered by Wayne DuMond. DuMond was in an Arkansas prison for raping a 17-year-old high school cheerleader until Gov. Mike Huckabee helped him get out. Thanks to Mike Huckabee, DuMond was released from Arkansas prison. Then, less than one year later, he raped and murdered Carol Sue Shields."
Text on the screen quotes a member of the parole board telling the Arkansas Times: "I signed the (parole) papers because the governor wanted DuMond paroled."
Also shown: a letter from Huckabee to DuMond that reads, "Dear Wayne ... My desire is that you be released from prison."
Davidson comes back on camera at the end of the ad: "If not for Mike Huckabee, Wayne DuMond would have been in prison and Carol Sue would be with us."
Watch the ad HERE.
The ad is the brainchild of Keith Emis, a 29--year-old salesman for a paper company in Fayetteville, Arkansas who used to be a Republican operative in Arkansas politics, most recently working for the 2002 re-election campaign of former Sen. Tim Hutchinson, R-Ark., who has endorsed Huckabee.
Emis first learned about the DuMond case on ABCNews.com's The Blotter and then saw Lois Davidson interviewed on another TV network.
He called her, traveled to see her, and convinced her that he could help get her story out.
Having already launched the anti-Huckabee website "HuckabeeFacts.com," he soon set up the 527 "Victims Voice."
"This isn't about being a fan of Gov. Huckabee or his politics," Emis tells ABC News. "It's about spreading the word on his record on crime and punishment."
He says the money to pay for the ad, which will run multiple times this evening on Fox News Channel, between 6 pm EST and 11 pm EST, came from contributions made through PayPal on his website, and from friends in Arkansas and around the U.S.
"I have not talked to any other campaigns at all," he says.
He will not share any other information about his contributors or the ad -- "I have to turn in a report to the government on the 31st of this month which will have all those details," he tells ABC News.
More to come…

McCain is in this race for himself,(I) Huckabee is in this race for the "spotlight" ( watch me) and Romney is in this race to make a difference for Americans (US)

The FOX channel is a perfect place for dirty lies about Mike Huckabee. (Maybe they can get Frank Luntz to do the reporting.) What you won't hear there is the truth, that Huckabee neither pardoned nor commuted the sentence of Wayne Dumond, but in fact, denied the commutation.
Mike Huckabee is going to win South Carolina because the people can see that he is the most intelligent, visionary, and courageous candidate in decades. He is also the only one who can defeat the Democrats in the general election. After all, he already beat the Clinton machine several times in Arkansas.

It's important to look at a candidate as entirely as you possibly can (on your own). Mike Huckabee did not pardon Wayne DuMond. The whole case is extremely sad as are all the murders in this country. To bring Lois Davidson into this ad is just plain cruel. Carol Sue Shields, rest in peace.

Huckabee IS NOT TRUST WORTHY.
Huckabee had 14 ethnical violations brought against him relating to
finances as governor. Shortly before announcing his candidacy for the
President of the United States, Huckabee ordered that the drives of 83
computers and 4 servers be destroyed during his transition phase in
leaving office, what a crooked CEO would do when he leaves a company. Remember Enron!
He raised taxes 21 times and granted clemency to 1033 convicted felons, 12 murderers and numerous rapists. Try to improve his tough on crime image with Chuck Norris. (Give me a break! If they were selling weight lose machine it would be more convincing!)
He has a 2 1/2 year of religious higher education and as a minister selling religion for a living with people's donation for 12 years. How can anyone believes this man can revive our economy.

Has anybody looked at how much education Huckabee has??? Your in for a Big or actually small suprise. He spent 2 1/2 years on a Religion degree.. Thats all folks!!!
Also John McCains wife in the 90s had a drug addiction and stole from a charity....
Did you know Huckabee's wife's maiden name is MCCAIN!!!
And although they met at a religious college for religious degrees the Huckabee's didn't get married in a church.
I just read this stuff on wikipedia.com Read their biographies.

Go ahead, GOP - nominate some rube like Romney. You'll see how hard you fall.

Hey Mitt, how did you pay this small time operator in Arkansas, in ten's or twenties??? No doubt it's being shown on FOX, the station that Romney has financial stakes in....They're probably playing this dirt bag ad for free.

What a coincidence this FLASH, FLASH pressing news information comes out when there is a Republican Debate tonight.
Does this small time Arkansas group have that much money to advertise nationally...Hmmmmmmmm I could only imagine who paid this person or group of people. Hint: "plastic","Devo hair", "multi-millionaire","has to win Michigan or he's out". I am not saying any names...Ha Ha Ha
Go Huckabee!!!

Huckabee is honest? Come on. I just got a push poll call here in Michigan. I can't believe how blind the Evangelicals are just cause he says he is Christian. Caller asked who I was going to vote for and then proceeded to rip on with negative ads. Thought he was going to be positive campaigner. He is a big hypocrite who pretends to be righteous and is a criminal. He complains about negative ads that are accurate and then proceeds to show an ad that he said he is not going to show. He then runs tons of phone calls that are very negative and not correct. Please, please do not vote for this fake.

Right on about Obama - When is he going to be asked tough question and answer them
Boycott NBC and GE untile they stop supporting Iran, Syria and the Bin ladens
Oh and they love Obama.
Now as far as Huckabee - he is not a Conservative, he is a Lib Lite.
This has nothing to do with Fox!

When will Mitt "plastic" Romney be questioned about the guy being released and killing a newlywed couple. Never hear that before and you want to know why. The Club for Growth is the org. behind the Huckabee attacks and the CFG are in bed with Mitt "plastic" Romney. These are the elite with so much damn money it is sickening. Shame on Fox!!

When is the news media going to question Obama on his background and I mean all of it not just what they want you to hear. What is his stand on abortion, same sex marriage, evolution in the school. Does he believe in God, will he cite the pledge of allegience, will he honor our US Flag. Does his church only allow blacks. Does he believe in allah or God. Maybe he can answer some of the TOUGH questions that really matter!!!
Posted by: Bowman | Jan 10, 2008 8:04:12 PM
I guess that Fox is worried about Huckaby If the people don't want a religoious man in office, then vote for Obama, he can pray to allah and he can turn his back on the american flaq and not put his hand on his chest when the pledge of allegience is spoken. Maybe we can change our country's name to Africa-America. One day, our nation will need God and it may be too late, because we just might get a leader this nation deserves.

It is clear to me, a Democrat will be our next President. The GOP is self destructing in 08'
And whoever does get the Republican nominee will be so weakend that Kucinich could probably take them out in the general. The whole thing is just making me sick.
So with that said, keep up these damn attacks.

Huckabee had nothing to do with letting Dumond out. The Parole Board - Put in place by Clinton and Guy pardoned the killer. Huckabee DID NOT (wasn't allowed to by law) parole him.

I rather have a simple, honest friend than a brilliant crook. Vote Huckabee!

Thank You, Barnabas Park 7:03pm Those videos clear up a lot of smeared information. It is unforgivable how biased Fox News is toward Gov. Huckabee.

Huckabee reminds me of a person that people work with not the man that layed them off. HE's the ANNOYING employee that every business has, he thinks hes smart and is the best man to be boss, but in reality he doesnt evan know how to do is own job. Why would I vote for somebody that is like a coworker, thats called being unproductive, and wasting time
Posted by: sammy w | Jan 10, 2008 7:27:54 PM
ITs funny looking at the demographics of who votes for huckabee!! mainly people that only have a high school degree, all the smart people know better

I wonder if OSAMA BINLADEN converts to christianity, if he'll pardon him?
