Obama appears in prosecution outline of case against Rezko
January 19, 2008 12:28 PM

It is strange how the media avoids questioning Obama on anything too difficult. I was stunned CNN did not even bring up the economy in the debate in California, instead focusing on Clintons Iraq vote. People are very concerned about the economy and Clinton has some good ideas, however the media seems to want to stay stuck in the past. The reality is, it is a luxury for Obama to say, "I was against this war from the beginning" when he was not even in the Senate at the time it was voted on. Yes, Clinton voted on the war, so did numerous others. Yes, we all wish Clinton would admit it was a mistake, but the reality is, she is pushing hard to prevent the Bush Administration from passing legislation that would keep troops in Iraq for a very long time. Clinton gets no credit for this, only continued bashing from the media, while Obama takes no heat from anyone. Quite honestly, it is frightening to me that a man running for president would be so "sensitive" to any tough questions. Is this what we can expect if Obama becomes president? Everyone fearful to question the man? Seems to me this is what happened with George Bush-he surrounded himself with people that would never question him. I don't want another president like that.

THE OLD ESTABLISHMENT WILL CONTINUE WITH BUSINESS AS USUAL... MANY PEOPLE HERE DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT CHANGES IS... PEOPLE DID NOT UNDERSTAND JESUS CHRIST WHEN HERE WAS HERE. GOOD PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED, WHILE BAD PEOPLE ARE REWARDED... ANY MAN WHO WOULD CHEAT ON HIS WIFE WILL LIE ABOUT ANY THING TO GET WANT HE WANTS...

Oh yeah and keep hiding your sinister ideals behind fetuses. Like you care...have them be born to dismiss them when they are here. Yeah, you're so self righteous, when it suits you.

Next time you turn on your TV, surf the cable channels or the web, use your microwave, drive your car, take your medication, maybe you'll want to remember and appreciate the fact that we live in a capitalist Republic, not a socialist Republik. And guess what, in a capitalist Republic - some people make a lot more money than some other people by selling people want they want and need to make their lives more enjoyable or better. Oh, but the Dem's whine "that's not fair" and want to take money out of all of our wallets and give it to your neighbor down the street who makes less money than you do. This is European Socialism. Imagine walking down your street, stopping at each house, and telling each house you stop at you need an operation and you'd like $100 from each house so you can pay for it. That's what the Dem's want to do to this country. Socialism at it's finest. Move to Canada or England for a year and you'll see what that type of system will get you. They are all failing and turning people away in droves. Socialism does not work. As a matter fact, we already have National (Socialist) Health care in the U.S., it's called Medicare/Medicaid, and it's already failing. But yet, the Dem's want to create an even bigger nightmare that will bankrupt this country. When are the folks that vote for these Dem's going to wake up and realize that Socialism (medicine or anything else) does not work, and there are countries all over the world that are living with these failed systems as living, breathing, real examples that prove this? Is it that hard to admit that your party has ideas that simply won't work and are harmful to this country? Are you so dedicated to a party name that you'll sell out our country and allow our government to go bankrupt for it? Well, what the hell. Why not? I'm sure our grandchildren will thank us for it.

Turn on CNN and look at the two groups SCREAMING at each other, pointing, howling. This is a disaster. If this continues, Democrats are finished. The powers that be are never going to allow Obama to win. Clinton is a bit too famous and more senior in Government than Obama. They can't diminish her fame and her widespread notoriety. Obama can be dismissed because he can't state anything that qualifies him to be President. At least Clinton has a couple of terms, time in the White House, time in the Governor's House. Time overseas representing America appointed to do so by a President. Obama has only been to the White House as part of a toursit stop. This is a mess and the republicans are loving it. Why do you think they are so in love with Obama? Why is Fox News so positive on Barrack? Why do they promote his rise? Because they know they are going to kick his *** without the smallest effort. When a republican supports a democratic candidate you are toast in a general election. And if you can't see that, then when we lose, you are going to have a hell of a lot to answer for.

Obama himself said we are going to hear more about him from people who are trying so hard to let him down. This article is a typical example. Very short and no explanation. What should we think of you writing this?????? Disgusting!!

The key word is "unnamed" as in no proof that Obama is who they reference.

Hmm, now I wondering how many other things we don't know about Obama's connection with this Sirian guy Rezko, first supposed to be the deal n the house, then he said he didn't knew him well, then oh he knew him for long time (15 years), then he was one of his big fund risers, then he gave him Obama a job in his development firm, what else we don't know?
This really doesn't sound well at all. How many boneheaded mistakes Obama have done with this guy?

To my black brothers and sisters, don't be foolish! Don't vote because you hear racists saying things about Obama. You need to vote based on what is best for you. What is best for you is getting a Democrat into office! Obama is not going to win up against the Republicans. Not because he is black, but because he is naive. A lot of people who were Democrats voted for Bush because they were naive enough to believe what the Republican owned news media told them he was a regular guy who would bring people together. A lot of people are doing that with Obama now. They're buying into what the media is telling them. Don't you think it's weird that they ALL love him right now and are pushing for him? They are using the same arguments they used to sell us Bush. Only problem is, THEY ARE REPUBLICANS! They are not on our side. They love that you think Clinton is against blacks. The Clintons are far from being racists and they have the power to win. Their programs in the past helped minorities and the poor. Yes, they changed Welfare, but only in a progressive way. The program turned to supporting people to get training or an education to better themselves rather than just collecting a check. You really need to do research; please don't throw away your votes. Obama in 2016, he is young and has a lot to learn, but his day will come. Right now we have got to win and the Clintons will beat the racists and the Republicans. Then when it's Obama's turn, then we can all be more idealistic because we will be able to afford it.

Please give accurate information instead of suggestion in sensitive cases like this. Presidentiel elections make a difference to the world, they are important. There are already too many, powerfull people in this country spinning and manipulating every bit of information. Journalists shouldn't be among them.

Obama was and is still doing well because he is having a free ride by the press and people that area afraid to attack him or they would be called racist. He needs to have the same level of scrutiny that any other politician and he can't play the race card every time is record or activities are questioned.

The trolls are just crawling all over this place nowadays. I suppose this is the kind of racist garbage to expect now that Obama's doing well.

Isn't Obama now claiming that he doesn't accept money from lobbyists, special interests, etc?
For some reason I don't trust Obama, he is way to slick!
Posted by: Karen | Jan 19, 2008 1:54:40 PM
Ha ha...a dosis of reality cheack for the Obama followers that jumped to idolize a guy without even knowing his record.
Let's the justice follow its course, the truth will prevail sooner or later.
One thing for sure is that Obama is jut another politician! even more, he himself would not be where he is now without the money and support of the corrupted Illinois and Chicago machine. He's their BOY!
The trial will open the truth about Obama deals with lobbyists, PACs and big corporations in Illinois too.

Why is this news?
The key point is this: "The Illinois senator isn’t accused of any wrongdoing."
So what if he's named? We already knew he was associated with this guy.

Obama has nothing to do with Rezko's illegal activities. There was no wrong doing. This is going nowhere. Obama's name is only mentioned because the DA wants to make a name for himself, ala "Nifong". There's nothing here. Do you all REALLY think Obama would put himself out there as a presidential candidate if he HAD done something shady with Rezko???
Posted by: ROB | Jan 19, 2008 1:43:19 PM
Told you so, the Feds trial against Rezko will open the pandora box. The trial begins on Feb 25 and here in Chicago is a big issue because the Feds are not going only after Rezko but they are going after the corrupt political machine in Illinois and Chicago, starting with the Governor Blogojevic, etc. Obama ties with Rezko for the last 15 years are going to be exposed there.
The Obama followers, who are they going to blame now????

Just proves that corruption is everywhere. ------------- Vote Ron Paul for Honesty and Integrity.
