He Likes Clinton, She Likes Obama

The brilliant and lovely Jodi Kantor wrote a great story for yesterday's New York Times that we did a Good Morning America version of this a.m., about the Democratic families torn apart by the Obama/Clinton decision.
You can watch our report HERE or read all about it HERE -- though I strongly recommend you check out Jodi's story, too.
Is anyone in your family fighting about the primary choices? And Republican families ripped apart?

Only my 10 year old nephew in my family likes Obama. LOL !!
When I asked him "Why do you like Obama ?", he said because Obama gives good speeches.

no families torn apart here...though my mother-in-law voted for Obama and my father-in-law voted for McCain, he says if Obama makes it as the democratic nominee he will vote for Obama over McCain. this is a man that has never voted democrat.

Households being ripped apart and torn asunder because of political dogma? Will our country survive this onslaught? (Shift to portentious, ominous voice:) Only time will tell.

Obama he has managed to avoid media bias that’s been against Clinton. "Obama, through an unprecedented convergence of luck has never before faced serious attack yet, Media refuses to show he is a phony, someone whose lofty rhetoric isn't born out in his own public record. Now his lack of foreign policy experience and showing he isn’t ready to lead in a dangerous world. His votes in the Senate to fund the Iraq war even as he tried to position himself as the strongest anti-war candidate. facts show he always supports the war, voted twice in 2006 against bringing America's troops back home, votes for war appropriations giving our money to Halliburton and Blackwater, voted with Bush on posturing S 433 which allows the Bush to suspend any troop withdrawal! Record also shows Obama faced with tough choices always gave in to pressure from Bush admin and corporate lobbyists. Obama voted for Bush's energy bill, sending more than $13 billion in subsidies and tax breaks to oil, coal, and nuclear companies, voted with Repub to allow credit card companies to raise interest rates over 30 percent, increasing hardship for families. "He talks about change but has no real record of making change. Lastly his use of the race card will not play well nationally, We are absolutely sick of obama saying hes not running on race, but thats all he offering and all we are talking about!!!!, he is a self proclaimed Black Racist. Again media attacks Romneys Mormon faith but refuses to discuss obama church.

I was for Edwards since he wasn't taking money from special interest groups, now I figure Ron Paul is about as honest as a Republican is gonna get but he won't make the cut since he's not a media darling. No one that is for middle class America is even going to get a chance, the media makes loads of money from corporations for advertising so why would they mess with that. Nope they want the candidates that accept money for favors. Here's our choices America. Pick the one that will hurt you the least.

It appears that both of my children are wrong, but that is their right. I still love them.

I watched the video, and you did a great job! It's clear the editing and questions wer meant to be fair, and not goading disagreements. Well done.

yeah my favorite blogger is shamelessly biassed towards Obama, and I'm leaning towards Hillary.

-- I am just glad that this part of voting is almost over --I do not like the fact that Obama was shoved down my throat by the media ( obama being the media darling ) and the kennedys -- the democratic party was also instrumental of setting obama for this run --and I was once a proud democrat-- but after this I changing to Indep --

Hate is a big word 'dog face'. My views are closer to Hillary and Barack. Between the two of them I finally opted for Barack. I could not find major differences between the two of them. However I do not like the fact that our country looks like a monarchy where you need to be either a Clinton or Bush to make it to the white house.

A true republican would not like Hilary and a smart true republican would never vote for Obama that being said are we surprised that Arnold like McCain and far as his far left wife well thats no news.
Arnold has been corrupted by his wifes liberal views.

Yes, except my husband is a moderate republican who might vote for McCain in the primary, and I am a democrat who voted for Hillary, but who would be just as happy with Obama. I begged him to reconsider and vote in the Dem primary.. I am not sure he'll tell me what he is going to do.
He dislikes all the repubs except he can stand McCain and he's okay with Hillary, not so much Obama. Either way, I've got 9 months to slowly work on him.

I hate them both. I endorse McCain. I am no movie star or rich lawyer. Just a regular man.
