'Shame On You' -- Plagiarized?

February 24, 2008 9:06 AM

Another incident of plagiarism?

Hillary Clinton scolded Barack Obama via the media in Ohio yesterday: "Shame on you!" she said. (Watch HERE)

But last month Bill Clinton said the same thing to the media about Barack Obama!

"Shame on you!" he said. (Watch HERE)

But wait . . .

John Edwards had a whole "Shame on You, Ann Coulter" campaign last year!

And Michael Moore told President Bush "shame on you" at the 2003 Academy Awards!

Not to mention Mr. Bush's famous maxim "fool me once, shame on, shame on you. Fool me, you can't get fooled again."

Will these thefts never stop?*

* Yes, I'm kidding. Scolding has been going on since the Garden of Eden.

OBAMA 08 is the battle cry of those who want change and are tired of almost 30 freeking years of Bush/Clinton! Think about it! 8 for George 1...8 for Billy the perv.....8 for George 2...and now we are suppose to let Hillary add another 8 to this total? These 2 families do not have the right to set the course of this country nor do they have the right to lie, cheat or take care of their friends with our tax dollars!

The primary and caucus count don't really mean much now.

Ralph Nader is back offering a true difference from the standard corporate line of Democrats and Republicans.

Now, the independents truly have an alternative to vote for, and neither Clinton nor Obama nor McCain nor Huckabee can count on their support.

Go Nader!

tv -- A million votes difference is not "almost tied." As for Florida and Michigan, the DNC declared no delegates would be elected in those primaries, and candidates made strategic decisons based on that declaration. The outcome of the presidential race cannot be determined by those states, without destroying the integrity and credibility of the nomination process.

She sounds more and more like a Mom scolding a child. How patronizing. BTW, I think the Queen of spin has now found herself getting a taste of her own medicine. Hence the temper tantrum.

Hey Sad State of Affairs...you mean after the primary is re run since Hillary was the only coward who agreed to NOT campagine in those states and she was the ONLY one on the ballot in MI? Yep thats a sure fire way to steal an election and rob the American people of their right to choose.

Posted by: Sam | Feb 24, 2008 11:25:03 AM

Nope. Voters were either undecided or voted for Hillary.

Posted by: tv | Feb 24, 2008 11:24:51 AM

ROTFLMAO Way to go Jack! We all need to make fun and laugh at the extremes some of these people will go to get more media attention. Got a clue for Hillary to buy...wait she can't afford it unless she loans herself more money at a higher interest rate than she was getting at her bank.....does this woman have no shame? Oh that's right! She dosen't! She stayed with Bill!

It's a shame that news organizations have to insult Americans' intelligence by covering this "plagiarism" nonsense... but since Clinton started this ridiculousness in the first place, I'm glad she's getting a taste of her own medicine.

tv - your vote calculations include FL amd MI. Remember they don't count.
Pauline - Obama has too much class to stoop to the Clinton petty tactics. He has taken the high road over and over again no matter how many times Clinton has attacked him personally or on issues.
Johnny at work - Barack used 2 passages with permission from his national co-chair. Hillary (in her debate finale) used a passage from her husband and one from John Edwards. So I think we need to call the plagiarism thing even and drop it.
All Clinton supporters- watch video of Lorna Brett Howard and then decide who should be ashamed of who.

Johnny at Work,

Thanks for the info. We have so much at stake in this election and all this blogger can talk about is an absurd spin on plagerism. Incredible.......

Obamanation.....

The sexist language continues. Were it Sen. Obama who responded to the fliers in that manner would the media use the word scold?

SNL is on to you.

Posted by: Pauline | Feb 24, 2008 10:15:25 AM

Clinton Voters: 10,669,456
Obama Voters: 10,973,558

Clinton 1272
Obama 1369

Obama and Hillary is almost tied
Not a big deal on the Obama's wins.

I think both are desperate.

Posted by: tv | Feb 24, 2008 9:58:26 AM

She's a desperate women watching the last days of her campaign.

Posted by: Chris | Feb 24, 2008 9:49:00 AM

I think your point is well taken. For either candidate to accuse the other of plagiarism is plain stupid. What I don't like is the hypocrisy of Hillary Clinton accusing him of negative campaigning. I'm from NH and received the false, negative mailer about Obama in early January. She also did negative campaigning in IA. Not to mention that she called Obama's healthcare plan "universal" in August but sent out mailers in Wisconsin saying he was leaving out over 15 million people. The flyer she had in her hand is the same one sent out to Wisconsin in response to her false, negative flyer. Hillary Clinton either thinks the American people are stupid or have amnesia. She is a world class hypocrite.

We can now understand thats the language the Clinton family are used to. Though to some people it sounds strange to come out of the mouth of a person expected to be a President or the former.

So whom we will hear next? Chelsea!!!!!!

Posted by: Peace | Feb 24, 2008 9:42:45 AM

Our language has a finite number of words, and expressions. We all are plagiarists. Can't be helped! We can't invent a new language for each speech, you know.
