There is a chicago artist whom is hoping that Senator Barack Obama as "JESUS" will bring attention to the Art Institute of Chicago.

He created a brown statue of Barack Obama robed in a white and red gown, with a halo on top of his head. This statue depicts Obama as JESUS!!!!!

I can't understand why these pastors are allowing Obama to visit their churches and preach at the pulpit!

Day Gardner, President of the National Black Pro-Life Union has written:

"Of course we all need prayer, that part is okay, but praise for Obama? I had to ask myself,do these pastors realize what this man stands for?

Yes, blacks have continued to make great strides in breaking down color barriers and the walls of inequality and by the grace of God, some feel we have earned bragging rights withregard to our acommplishments. But, in our efforts to be bigger, brighter and best-I worry many of us have forgotten a huge part of what our struggle was all about. Racial equality was only part of it-the other part was to do with civil rights for ALL of our people.

Senator Obama doesn't care that abortion has obilterated the rights of more than 15 million black children since 1973. He doesn't care that abortion is the number one killer of African Americans surpassing deaths by accidents, heart disease, stroke , crimes, HIV-AIDS and all other deaths....combined!

He won't make one of his powerful speeches decrying the injustice of abortion providers as they plant killing centers firmly in black communities-making it easier to kill black children. Instead, he actually "Applauds" their efforts. These children are denied their most basic human right-which is the right to life; a right which our ancestors (including Martin Luther King) so proudly worked for, marched for and many of them died for!"

"Unfortunately, Barack Obama supports the ruthless culture of death-one that includes the smallest Americans-too small to flee or fight back leaving the black church to contemplate or the word of God; i.e. Jesus or Barabbas!"

Senator Obama may be riding what seems to be a perfect wave toward the Democratic presidential nomination, but some African-Americans say his pro-abortion stance make him a danger to the black community.

Rev. Clenard H. Chilldress, Jr., on his website blackgenocide.org, said, "We want every AMerican to know this man's (Obama) voting record on such a crucial issue," Childress told Cybercast News Service, referring to Obama's vote against the Born Alive Victims Protection Act, a federal law that gives rights to newborns who survive late-term abortion. "Abortion affects the African-American community more than any other ethnic group in the country" said Childress.

Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, founder and president of the non-profit Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny, or BOND, told Cybercast News Service that he doesn't want the FIRST AFRICAN-AMERICAN PRESIDENT to hold values that are detrimental to the black community".

"Martin Luther King said of his daughter that he didn't want her to be judged by the color of her skin, but by the content of her character". People are applauding Obama because of the color of his skin and not his character".

Childress said "I am hurt and disappointed by Obama's pro-abortion platform.

"I can't think of anything that hurts African-Americans more, Hoye said"If you don't have life, what does the minimum wage mean? If you don't respect life, nothing else really matters".

When the two parties have chosen their candidates , the christians, the catholics, the pro-life voters will have to pick between a Repulican whom is pro-life or a democrate who is pro-choice and voted against the BAVPA act, that gave protection, a federal law, to newborns who survived late-term abortions.

Personally myself, I want a Repulican to win, and many of us whom belief in life, will all vote the same. Right now, the media gives you the impreseeion that Obama has a good chance to win....but there are alot of us out here whom have not voted in the primaries,,,and believe me are views are very similiar to all those whom respect life.

I want a genuine profiler to win. "At the end of the day, you can't beat something for nothing. Mr. Blackwell goes on to say"I will work hard to make sure we have a strong pro-life candidate that we can elect so we don't put at risk the lives of millions of unborn babies."

You people do know we have a black woman as Secretary of State, right?

Goes into war zones with flak jackets and balls of steel, right?

It drives me crazy to think George Dubya Bush has more respect for other races/genders than does Clinton and her supporters.

Anyone who repeats the same tired lines of "Oh, this country can't stand a woman in power" or "Oh, this country won't vote for a black" are morons. You are the reason this country is still stuck in the 20th century.

Maybe in *your* closed little mind, it can't happen. But I am a white female voter who sees Obama as the best chance of having a president walk into Congress with a bill, and getting it passed with the help of BOTH sides.

Steve, on the other hand, is just plain nuts.

Laura: The clip was to show how fast Hillary runs from a loss. Worse than that, Hillary repeatedly blames others for her failings. As a older white female who was involved from the beginning of the women's movement I have yet to consider Hillary as a viable candidate because of her lack of ethics. I have gladly supported a female candidate -- based on issues that are relevant. Gender (or race) isn't. Go Obama!

Remember one thing Obama is so far left leaning that when he does not have his teleprompter saying what to say he slips up and says what the Hate America crowd says. He make Stalin Blush!!

Posted by: spock | Feb 13, 2008 11:16:14 AM

The media has acted like Obama is the second coming of Christ. GET REAL. What we're hearing is White liberal America embracing a well-educated, charismatic Black man to show the rest of the country, that the last 200 years of racism in this country wasn't their fault. They're not like their ancestors. Like hell they're not! Racism is still alive and well in America. As a Black American, I'm NOT voting for Obama, beacuse he's not the most qualified candidate to run the most powerful country in the world. Hillary can and WILL do a better job. I would like to see Obama get some hands on experience, perhaps as a VP, before I would entrust this country's economic disaster in his hand.

Posted by: Gabe | Feb 13, 2008 11:10:10 AM

Politics is not a game! What has Obama done with his life? Why does anyone think he is qualified to hold the "MOST POWERFUL" elected position in the world?

If you ignore the color of his skin, as Jason Cerniak wrote, "Barack Obama is no different than any other pretty boy who thinks his looks and charm will get him everything in life.

"The only difference between Barack Hussein Obama and John E. Edwards, is that Mr. Obama pretends to be charming and nicer, and Obama has a lot less experience in politics. Bilkl Clinton talked about the Obama Fairy Tale and I couldn't agree more".

Mr. Obama is not being helf back by the color of his skin as the media would want us to believe. Just like JFK actually won more votes because the media kept asking whether AMericans would elect a Catholic! All this talk about if Obama can win the "WHITE VOTE" has become a strength. It is almost like a challenge to WHITE PEOPLE to vote for him, just to prove that they are willing to vote for him."

Again, let me point out I am not for Obama or Clinton. My choice would of been someone whom respects life and the unborn.

In Hillary Clinton, though we have a woman who has taken every advantage offered to make a difference in this world. In Barack Obama, we have a young, charismatic guy who just decided one day that he wanted to run for president. This isn't a High School poularity contest. It's a "VOTE" forvthe person who will literally hold the lives of billions of people in his or her hands. Experience has to count for something and I'll never understand how so many candidates can ignore that important fact!"

And fianlly as Jason Cerniak said, " I simply cannot comprehend why anyone supports Obama. "Change"? "Hope"? That's all meaningless clap trap. If you can't tell me why he would make a good president-after winning-then I'm not sure why you're supporting him."

Craig: I am not from West Virginia, and I am not a republican and I am not a democrate.

I AM A CHRISTIAN, AND UNLIKE YOU, I LIVE BY MY CHRISTIAN VALUES.

Oh! and by the way, the "Greatest Performer" of all times, Mr. Barack Hussein Obama" is coming to a theatre soon in your town!

Posted by: stevem | Feb 13, 2008 10:39:06 AM

It is absolutely apparent to me that the MEN of this country are not willing to give up the ultimate power office to a woman. Can you imagine for one moment a BLACK WOMAN getting as far as Obama has? Not on your life! If Obama wins, my vote will go to John McCain and I am a lifelong Democrat.

The plane steps were covered with freezing rain, for God's sake. How was Hillary supposed to be walking? So what's this clip mean -- she's feeble? The press make me sick!

Posted by: Laura | Feb 13, 2008 10:31:05 AM

I will vote for McCain before i will vote for Obama. he's does a lot of talking and say's a whole lot of nothing.and all these video's people are putting out on his behalf is BS.

TO NEWS CHANNELS ABC, MSNBC, FOXNEWS, CNN AND CPAN...STOP FALLING FOR HILLARY CLINTON GAMES..

What seems to strike me funny is the new show I watch in morning called “Morning Joe”..Whom I must say is very good when he is hosting the show and not Pat Buchanan who seems to be either on the Republican side against Obama or Hillary side against Obama. Either way Pat Buchanan based on his own comments seems to be a racist. A racist against his own race if they vote for Obama, a racist against Hispanic people and racist against Obama because he is the first serious black candidate for President. Pat Buchanan is from the old school and its time for him to wake up and learn that America is made up many races and faces. And what about this morning Chris Matthews and Pat giving strategy tips to Hillary Clinton camp on how to bet Obama. That was so tacky, I mean really why don’t talk show people just shut up and let the American people pick who we feel should be our President. Every time Obama is winning all these news channel try to bring him down. Another strikes me funny is that no one on any news show on TV or online notices that Hillary Clinton campaign problems seemed to come right around the time Obama was winning all five states and than again someone else resign yesterday when Obama was destine to win DC, Maryland and Virginia. Hillary timed her speech in Texas to link up around 8pm eastern time so she could show she was in Texas with a big crowd as Obama was getting his winning announcement. But she didn't know that Maryland voting was going to be extended until 930 Eastern Time so Obama beat her on that slick move. Why don’t news channels get this why are they so desperate to talk about incorrect news verses what's really going here. What’s really going here is that Hillary Clinton will say or do almost anything to win even if she isn’t the directly saying it or doing it she is still behind it all.

You are right on! Women were responsible for abolishing slavery and when they were fighting for the right to vote it first went to the black man. White men decided they would rather it go to a man than a woman. History is just repeating itself. Unfortunately a big chunk of opposition to women getting the vote was other women. We see that here as women mock the ditto heads desperately seeking the approval of their men. If Hillary isn’t able to pull this out it will be the first time I have voted for a republican. I don’t like doing so but I will do what is best for the country. We will have a black president some day but not this black man. I urge other women to do the same.

Anything you can offer today to help the Clinton to cry on some more votes?

All of the ones you brought earlier seems to have dried to the extent that Clintons can't milk them anymore.

A note to all women young and old: All this suggests is that sexism is still acceptable over racism. White males say, "I will not vote for her." Why? Because she is a strong assertive women. Do you hold her accountable for her husbands actions. Women and men, I ask one thing. As you go through your day today, watch the subtle "Good ole boy" system in place in the workplace. It could be the dumb blond joke, it could be the dismissive comment about know your place, it could be the fact that a male makes more because "he has a family to feed." It could be your signficant other telling you to make his dinner or he'll come home when he dang well pleases. As women, we don't stand up and say this is wrong because we are then called "bi----." Some how some where, we stand up against racism but not sexism. We'd vote for an unqualified male before we dare consider voting for a qualified female. I'm thoroughly depressed.

Gee Steve, and you claim to know so much about Obama.
He believes women should have the right to choose, family planning is a private matter.
He believes that gays deserve the same respect for their relationships as heterosexuals, besides, they also have children to raise.
He also believes in personal responsibility, for all citizens.
His grandmother (grandparents) that raised him are his mothers parents, not his fathers grandmother in Kenya.
Yes he is a christian, but he is not defined by the church. Having a relationship with Jesus Christ is also a private matter.
Barack Obama is a good man, with the intelligence and integrity to be a good president for this country.

{Steve} ~ Are you from West Virginia? You sound like someone who is trying to "scare" people into voting for Hillary -or- McCain. Sorry your "fear tactics" don't work here.

Posted by: Craig | Feb 13, 2008 8:18:50 AM

I think Obama needs to deflate his head!

t's getting to big for his body!!!

He is no JFK and he is no MLK. And it is a known fact that in reality, Martin Luther King was a Repulican.

Martin Luther King was Pro-Life. His biggest concern was making sure the American women would do all they could to keep their children. He would turn in his grave today, if he knew what Obama stands for.

It's a shame!!!

Not only does Obama believe in Abortion, but he also thinks it's okay (and has voted 3 times in the senate) to kill live aborted babies. He thinks it's okay to stab these infants in the neck, suck out their brains and leave them to die in soild utility rooms in hospital.

He encourages gay marriage. He thinks it's okay to give children as young as 9 years old birth control pills.

He Is the master mind of conceit.

He is the Greatest Performer of All Times!!!!

He is a racist, belongs to a racist church.

His wife is all about herself.

Lives in a 2,000,000.00 home along with a 600,000.00 adjacent lot that she had to have for her privacy, while Obama's grandmother(whom raised Obama and took care of him) lives in a hut in Kenya with no electricity).

Michelle Obama had a $150.00 per person luncheon to raise money for her husband so that he could become president to pass the law to kill live aborted babies.

What kind of people are they?

What has our world come to. Have we gone nuts!

These are not the people that should be running our country.

God Help us!
