Clinton Has Another Prop Problem
March 17, 2008 4:36 PM
As captured by ABC News' Eloise Harper, a "Ready to Bring Our Troops Home" sign attempted suicide during a press conference on Iraq held by Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, supposedly after the sign reads comments by Gen. Jack Keane (Ret.) and wondered if it had been hung insincerely.
"This had nothing to do with what my flag friends did a few months ago," the sign says.

dcvoter, thanks for the info re time warner owning cnn! for some reason i thought they had sold and i didn't know how to find out the new owners.
now i know what to do in the cable vs. satellite decision - satellite it is! time warner's been giving me lousy service anyway. and i will be sure to write to their ceo to tell him/her (i'm sure it's a him) why i switched).

re boycott - i've been at it for a month - no msnbc/nbc or cnn. no watching them, no clicking on their sites, and most importantly no buying anything from their owners (ge for msnbc/nbc, still not sure re cnn) or anyone i find out advertises on them (this one's a little harder, since i don't see the ads due to boycott, but if i hear of any, they go on the list). my next step will be to write to the corporate headquarters of cnn, msnbc/nbc, and ge to make clear the reasons for my actions. but most important is the actual boycott. the corporate ownership need to learn that chris matthews, tim russert, gloria borger, all the rest of the pretend journalists who are actually just spreading propaganda are hurting ratings rather than helping them. and ratings = money, the only currency they care about (certainly not integrity). and with ge, it's a simple financial issue - i'm in the market for all new kitchen appliances - none will be ge. simple but effective, especially if millions of us do it.

MSNBC boycott? Because they actually vet Wolfson's conference calls before parroting them on air? Or are they still sore over Olberman's beatdown and Morgan's SNL skit.

It's trying to get away from Hillary too! You see, that flag knows her better than she knows herself. Or it was a message from god...like CNN's tornado pattern window treatment.

That clip reminded me of a Christopher Guest movie!

Sarah, Just send msnbc an email stating you are joining the boycott. Other than that just don't go on their site or watch msnbc tv. Thanks for joining!

okay, I join the boycott. What do I do? Or not do?

Her ever changing stands on Iraq are dirtiest mess Hillary got into during her solo career. Many people seem to forget these days how she as a Dem senator helped to promote a military solution to the Irag problem. Yep, it was Hillary's solution business.
Former Sen. Lincoln Chafee, the only Republican senator who voted against the Iraq war, calls Hillary one of the "Democratic Bush enablers" who failed to stand up to the president.
Chafee says top Democrats put their political ambitions first in the fall of 2002.
"They were afraid that Republicans would label them soft in the post- September 11 world, and when they acted on that political self- interest, they helped the president send thousands of Americans and uncounted innocent Iraqis to their doom."
Last year, Chafee changed his party affiliation and became an independent. He recently endorsed Obama, who spoke out against the war in 2002 as the state lawmaker he was at that time.

I got an email today about Hillary supporters boycotting msnbc. Besides their biased coverage (people are calling it the Obama network)they now have a spot on their home page where obama is registering voters. Over the line! I am participating in the boycott, please join us!

It's a classic comedy sketch, nicely executed.
Great how Clinton pretends to be aware of what actually is going on.
In other words, her campaign in a nutshell.

Do you ever wonder if you pay too much attention to these prop problems because she is a female candidate? I'm sure Obama has prob problems but nobody really cares because he is a male candidate.

Heh. Keep reporting these human moments from the campaign. I have this fantasy that everyone's going to rush to the battlefield, knives drawn, look at each other, and fall down laughing.
Here's a joke for ya.
A Harvard graduate walks into a room, looks at the furniture, and says, "Someday, I will own all this."
A Princeton grad walks into a room, looks at the furniture, and says, "Someday, I will inherit this."
A Chicago grad walks into a room, looks at the furniture, and says, "Wow, this furniture's ugly, and besides, it's arranged all wrong."
(It's no secret that the intellectual powerhouse of Obama's is University of Chicago)

I must say, that signs falls rather graciously... I'm afraid when Hillary's fall from grace is final we'll witness some pretty ugly scenes.
And yet, there will be beauty in it as well.

Steal the election? Take a look at the new poll out today by USA Today. She beats Obama and McCain. And rightfully so! She is the best candidate for the job! And she cares about ALL Americans!

If Hilary gets elected the next thing to fall will be our economy!
Posted by: Jim Kiricov | Mar 17, 2008 6:17:56 PM
Right now that's the least of her problems--no re-vote in FL! Everyday it get's a little harder for Hillary to steal the election.
Posted by: Janet | Mar 17, 2008 6:10:29 PM
Look, how cute; all of the Obamas are thinking it's some sort of sign for them. "Yes, yes it's happening; God is on our side the flag and sign are proof!"

Those 'prop problems' of the Clintons are CLEAR & TELLING OMENS should Americans again made the same mistake they made with Bush and the Bush-whacking of America!
The whole world can see how disingenuous the Clintons are.
And once they become drunk with the power that they really 'pull this one off', they will go for a second round of self-destruction.
The first round of Clinton self-destruction gained them IMPEACHMENT, disbarment and disgrace.
Americans SHOULD RUN from the very thought another Clinton White House term.

Obama has the more effective coattail.
Hilary Clinton is SO DIVISIVE that she will lose even more House and Senate seats for the Democrats than her debased and debarred husband did during their ALREADY TWO TERMS in the White House.
Heck, we can witness the Clintons' divisiveness being played right out before our eyes in these Dems Primaries.

IF DEMOCRATS a) want to bring troops home, b) want a viable economic plan, as well as c) comprehensive health plan then the only choice will be HILLARY CLINTON in the fall. The other guy brings a promise of a 100 year war to the table.

I don't understand that headline.

like the way she went to help get the flag set back right and gave some immediate input on what the problem might be and a solution to fix it - ready she is.
