March 24, 2008 5:42 PM

Invoking Sen. Hillary Clinton's "3 am" ad, Obama Girl in her latest video pleads for the former First Lady to drop out of the race.

"And although Obama's gonna win it/you're sorta kinda stayin' in it," she sings.

"He's got the delegates locked down, let him Ba-rock this, 'cause he ain't just another Mondale, John Kerry or Dukakis."

"These attacks are insane...they just help John McCain..."

Obama Girl is just an antic. Just like the AD of Hill's 3 A.M. and Bill's spin of "unstoppable dream team" and the Hill surrogates' sour grapes of "Judas" and "if he wasn't black" and "McCarthy". And now there's Hill's latest, "He wouldn't be my pastor"--Indeed, not, as nor would Hillary Clinton's "worship" within "The Fellowship" or "The Family" be spiritual refuge of Barack Obama!

This primary is the sorry spectacle it has become because Hill and Bill and their handlers did not know how to win on Super Tuesday. Barack Obama his took away Hillary "inevitability" back in Iowa. Barack Obama since day after Super Tuesday, then Potomac Primary, then even Texas and Ohio, and now Pennsylvania has been defending against The Clintons.

Hillary to serve the country should be in the Senate right now promoting her ideas to solve the subprime crisis. Barack should be in contest with McCain, NOT defending the democractic '08 nomination against Hillary who was Not READY ON DAY ONE at IOWA. She lost at IOWA--Hillary and her supporters really need to "get real" now.

Posted by: Victoria | Mar 25, 2008 9:38:37 PM

People, she admitted that she never voted in the primary. She's an actress! Now, TEAMOBAMA would like you to believe she's a "convert". My question: how much did they have to pay her to do the video and say that she now supports Obama? Pretty cynical and pathetic!

You people need to get serious... Obama is a nice guy but dosn't meet my standards to be President of the USA

Posted by: Nick | Mar 25, 2008 12:19:13 PM

Since Obama is a “freshman” Senator, I’ve been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. It bothers me that he states “he didn’t know” Wright preached anti-American sermons. He was unaware of the hatred. He also continues to change amounts used in financial transactions with Rezko. His advisors admit that his Iraq and NAFTA policies differ with what Obama says in his speeches. Security breaches were done by employees of his advisor/contributer. I feel he is either looking America in the eye and lying about these events – which contradicts his message about “changing the way things are done in Washington” or he really is oblivious to his own surroundings. If he truly didn’t know what goes on at his own congregation after 20 years of being advised by Wright and talking to people “in the streets of Chicago” or what was happening with Rezko- his next door neighbor, how can we believe he’ll be aware of what’s going on in the world. His speeches are wonderful, but how can we trust him to have good judgment on American issues and foreign policy when he doesn’t see what’s in his own front yard?

Yes indeed. Just what we Americans need to do right now - listen to the Obama Girl. She certainly seems intelligent enough to know what's good for this country, doesn't she? Can you believe the young women can't find a better way to express themselves than making fools of themselves? Where is her self-respect, in the toilet with her brains?

Posted by: Ron | Mar 25, 2008 12:05:56 PM

Obama girl is the biggest joke of Obama's ads. She has no talent whatsoever. Also her video needs to taken off TV. She is a complete mess like Obama. They should campaign together.

When will the media get over this talentless Ashley "Kristen" Dupré wannabe? I would call her a Britney Spears wannabe, but she makes Britney look brilliant by comparison.

You know I like your sentiments but frankly I don't chose leaders on faith. our spouting the typical Obama mantra. Platitudes no substance. Sorry buddy I need more than that in fact every democrat should demand more from their leaders... Anything but Bush doesn't work for me

John

Its not a matter of spite, some things are more important than partisan politics and electing a president is one of them. Obama is not right from my perspective and I've been a democrat all my life. He's naive and his association with bigots and haters is very troubling to me as a white man

Posted by: Nick | Mar 25, 2008 10:35:58 AM

I'm an Obama supporter, but I'll vote for Clinton if she manages to get the nomination, even if she gets it by illegitimate means. We cannot afford a President McCain.
I hope you Clinton supporters will take a deep breath, look at the big picture and vote for Obama in the fall if he's the nominee. Spite is a childish way to decide on whom to vote for.

Texas produced LBJ, who arguably liberated blacks. Is that also "so truly awful"?

Posted by: Jane | Mar 25, 2008 10:24:24 AM

Posted by: Niels | Mar 25, 2008 9:59:30 AM

Can anyone, including Texas Lil answer me one question? Why does Texas produce so many truly awful, reactionary, right-wing authoritarians? What is it about that state that is so truly awful?

Posted by: rajulkhara | Mar 25, 2008 9:54:49 AM

You right wingers don't fool me. You are now pushing for an "independent Hillary/Edwards run"

The obvious can't be lost on those of us with any brains: this would split the moderate, progressive vote and put McCain in the White House.

Nice try, veteran Republican dirty tricksters.

What appalls me is that Democrats are stupid enough to play into Republican hands by keeping this infighting going. This will hand McCain a second political comeback miracle. From a candidate who was said to have no chance to win the primary, and then who was said not to be able to win against either Hillary or Obama in the general election...Now, Bill Clinton's and his wife's selfish greed are willing to destroy the Democrat chances to end the Republican reign of terror, all in order to play the nuclear option if they can't win the nomination by hook or by crook. The Michigan/Florida thing is a fake controversy. Those states knew the party's rules and the Republican governor of Florida deliberately did this to create strife in the Democrat party. I'm not sure what Michigan's excuse was..but this is a phony issue. The infighting needs to stop now or McCain is as good as in office right now.

Posted by: allen_osuno | Mar 25, 2008 9:51:41 AM

If Hillary "ruins" Obama's chances against McCain, she should be given a medal for bravery.

I think everyone was leaving "color" out of the race...Until Obama brought it up! Who lied? Obama.

Posted by: Texas Lil | Mar 25, 2008 9:39:39 AM

Hillary flat out LIED! Not misspoke? She will do anything to get in office - the women is brutttaaal. All the superdelegates are getting ready to dump her because she is bringing down the Dem-Party. It amazing how we all say blacks are voting for Obama because he is black/white? Whatever! Who cares. But my point is, we as whites do the same. Its just our racial values are being tested and we don't know how to deal with. If you just leave color out of the equation it might just work. Most of you on here probably don't and do not have fiends of different races therefore making it hard to overcome thos insecurities that someone of different race might be smarter and more charismatic than you (Hillary). Ta!Ta!

Posted by: NottingHillary | Mar 25, 2008 9:33:00 AM

The only way for Hillary to win outright is to win the popular vote. So if Hillary wins PA by double digits, she should notify the DNC that unless they re-vote in FL and MI, she is leaving the party immediately and running an Independent Clinton/Edwards campaign. They could win by a landslide.

---------------------------------------

She WILL win by double digits.
..and I couldn't agree more.

Give me a break, must be more bad news coming out for BHO... Every time the calls get louder for Hillary to drop out something else about BHO comes out. Barrack - Stop hoping Hillary is going to quit. She is a fighter. Talk about the issues and prove your rhetoric - oh I forgot you can't....well there are always clever marketing ploys! that's what we need for president a slick campaign!

Posted by: Chipo | Mar 25, 2008 9:21:07 AM

Marketing, marketing, marketing. That's the strategy behind Obama's "Message of Hype" Inclusion, beyond racial barriers. New politics of positive campaigning, not the "old" ways of Washington. So principled,so honest, so honorable and full of integrity.(NOT!) He's certainly gotten off message, and using the tactics he was SO critical of, Now all he does is "tattle" on anything he finds out about Hillary Clinton. ANYTHING. Anything to get the negative attention off him and on to her.
Remember "compassionate conservative"? "Washington outsider"?"I'm a uniter not a divider" Remember Florida? Didn't want a re-count there...We don't today either. Wonder if Karl Rove is working for Obama. Lie til we buy, and once we put him in office he'll do as he pleases.
Obama's message is NOT consistent with his life and his actions. Every buy something and REGRET it? Buy Obama's "message of HYPE " and we'll all be sorry. Sorrier than eight long years of George W. Bush if he's president. But I really believe if he's the nominee, John McCain will be president. All the HYPE is wearing off and the truth is emerging. Many of those who voted for Obama are having serious buyer's remorse. Don't worry about thim though, there's a place for him on the late night shopping network. He's good. Just ask him.

Some of your comments are crazy! It's must of been a slow news day!

First of all, this is a commercially made video. "Obama girl" is just an actress. She doesn't sing. She's lip singing during the video. She was paid to do the job. In fact, during the primary, she did not vote for Obama.

That's clever... but how about this:

There once sang the girl for Obama
Her message of pathos and drama
She to Clinton, “you’re done”
The messiah has won
Clearly, I'm suf’ring from trauma

Clever is cocktail party chatter... it is not how we should elect a president, we might as well let the candidates debate in front of Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell. Moderated be Seacrest, natutrally.

Posted by: smartprimate | Mar 25, 2008 7:16:52 AM

I watched the Obama girl music video. Cute. But choosing a politician isn't about how cute or pretty he or she is.

AND stop the infighting between Obama and Clinton camps. It's not doing anyone any good. Policy over personality. Look at candidate/party goals and then decide.

And finally, dancing has so little to do with politics.

many years from now, people will tell their Grandchildren about the Hillary Clinton Administration, but when they recall who she beat for the Nomination, they won't even remember the name "Barack Obama". As fast as he rose in the Democratic Party in 2008 was not as fast as he fell from the top, down to the losers pile along with the rest of them......

Unfortunately, it is something like this that defines this campaign, and shows the mentality of the largest amount of Obama supporters. And it is exactly stuff like this that will have the church buses full of the white Republicans in the South riding up to the polls to prevent there being a president elect Barak Obama. Wright is n't the only one preaching in the pulpit. In 2004, I had to stand in line 2 1/2 hours to vote because of the swarms of voters who were there to prevent gays from getting the right to marry, by re-electing Bush. Guess what they'll be rolling out to prevent this time. Especially if Richardson is the VP. Even the hispanics will be voting Republican.

Posted by: Melanie | Mar 25, 2008 2:07:29 AM

Mickey: yeah, I think we should ask the DNC for a re-do of ALL of the Primarys and caucases from Day 1 starting with Iowa, with the obama information that everybody knows now......they didn't know that information back then......I'll bet that there are hundreds of thousands of voters who wish they could take their obama-vote back now.....

The OBAMA GIRL has no class. She needs to grow up and get a life. Just wants to be in the news because she probably doesn't work and has nothing else to do with herself other than to be a baby making machine to collect welfare benefits. She is pitifull. Can't dance, can't sing and is not that pretty.

She is a paid employee to Obama and perhaps a possible cabinet member, Secretary of Defense, may be.

Posted by: brea2020 | Mar 25, 2008 1:58:55 AM

please obama supporters, his new title is now the "president elect barack obama"

look in the crystal ball, what what.... hillary is licking her wounds, bill is trying to revive his reputation for a future chelsea clinton run for presidency, chelsea already has 8yrs of foreign policy experience and she was one of her father's trusted advisor in arkansas. she single handedly organized her mother's campaign. along with hillary, sinbad and sheryl crow, president clinton sent them to bosnia, because of how dangerous the situation was over there, and the "sheroes" hillary and chelsea had to dodge sniper bullets that may have wounded their bodyguards true story).

many more about chelseas biography will come up in the future.

Posted by: noo yorker | Mar 25, 2008 1:57:27 AM

obama's lead is insurmountable, hillary is still in denial, she is looking for the 1 in 980 chances to clinch a win, well with an organized campaign like obama's, hillary should start reorganizing her next senatorial campaign, and a good defense lawyer for the "peter paul vs clinton" case about the biggest election contribution fraud in american history, currently going on in california.

i am not going to get in any arguments about their characters, obama is the winner period, and he took a symbolic vacation to prove it while the clintons are running around the country in pursuit of the winds.

congratulation president obama, mccain is a piece of cake, and the clinton know that.....

during times when amost everyone in the media tried to tear you apart for someone-elses sins, you took the high road and brought the positive citizens of this country from different sides together, the negatives ones would rather stay away, stir racial hatred and strife, because of JEALOUSY............thank you

Clinton is a liar. So is everyone on the planet. So is Obama. She told a story that she caught a fish 2 feet long, when it wasnt.

As far as political fodder, the Bosnia tarmac story is pretty weak.

This Obama chick is basically mocking Clinton. Obama has consistently played very low politics thru surrogates.

Since Obama Girl is a paid actress, doesn't anyone else feel a bit disgusted that this is what Obama's campaign is putting out to the public? I mean what a joke! You have John McCain making his rounds in Europe and Hillary calling for Bush to put together an emergency foreclosure summit. The economy is at an all-time low, and where is our third presidential candidate? Oh that's right, he is soaking up the sun in the Virgin Islands. I know, I know. He had a really bad week, well boo hoo. There is one simple truth here, and that is no matter what is said about any of these candidates during their campaigns, it will all pale in comparison to the reality of what they will inherit come January 2009. Every action will be scrutinized to the nth degree. So while some of you find Obama charismatic and well-spoken, I find that he is not taking this process too seriously. I will be voting come November for the candidate who gets the trouble we are in as a country, here and abroad!

Posted by: Lisa | Mar 25, 2008 1:08:44 AM

What in the world is this Obama Girl video?? Good Lord!!! Is this the type of people that are "the young voters" that are trying to decide who is going to run our country next? This is pathetic and ridiculous. We need maturity and wisdom in the oval office, not this kindergarden class. We can't afford a tutor to teach Obama all the things a president should know. We don't need someone given to "Bone-headed mistakes" either. One "bone-headed mistake" can get us all blown up!! This video shows how nonsensical
Obama's campaign is getting. This 'idol
worship' is going to his head. I don't think this video is going to do him any good. It is cheap and sleazy!!!

4000 Dead in Iraq, Over 30,000 wounded. A GOP candidate with a penchant for violence and a willing dance partner in Iran. The debate is too big to be about Rev. Wright, I'm sorry it's too big. I'm not calling anyone stupid or small for backing their candidate but if you blow this America and we find ourselves in protracted conflict in the middle 'freakin' east, your treachery will not be forgotten and your legacy will be one of ignorance, arrogance and defiance in the name of foolish pride. An election won on bureaucracy, red tape "smoke filled rooms" can not be perpetrated on the American people. There won't be a riot that would be way too simple, it would mean utter mistrust and a breakdown in the fabric of this country and what the democratic process is really all about. You see what Hillary Clinton is doing isn't just wrong it threatens to tear at the very principle this country stands on. 10 races to go and the bell tolls louder as each one passes. When will the ringing become too loud, too intense, too much for Hillary? The war must end and a focus on America needs to return. Our children's education would suffer with a McCain presidency, our economy, we would be lucky to avert a world 'freakin' catastrophe. Why for the life of me, if you stand on any principle at all would you align yourselves with 4 more years of this? I look at the calender in anticipation of the end of the is administration. I plan on popping a bottle of wine if i'm so blessed to see that day. Electing John McCain would be like watching a beautiful young child, be twisted and perverted before out very eye's. There is HOPE for America....we need not be subjected to a lifetime of war and death and the loss of HOPE all together.

Everyone needs to be aware of what is actually transpiring in the Democratic contest for President.

Essentially, the DNC has failed the party. The caucus/primary selection process for candidate selection is horribly flawed no matter what/who your preference.

The DNC leadership knows that, along with their other failures, disenfranchising Florida and Michigan will ultimately cost them the electoral college in November.

The DNC leadership is just as split as the Democratic voters and cannot produce or agree on a solution that will satisfy both candidates or unite the party.

The DNC leadership is engaged in actively promoting and/or producing situations designed to pressure one of the candidates into dropping out prior to the August convention.

In essence, for the DNC, it's not about democracy for the voters or the families they represent. It's all about politics and power for the DNC.

That's why, after 34 years as a Democrat, I am now an Independent.

Consider your options.

In Alaska Obama won 302 votes; In Idaho Obama won 16,880 votes; In Kansas Obama won 27,172 votes; In North Dakota Obama won 11,625 votes; In Maine Obama won 2079 votes; Virgin Islands Obama won 1,772 votes; In Wyoming Obama won 5,378 votes. The Seven represent only 65, 097 votes in total. Lets see, Hillary won California and received 2,306,361 votes in one state.

Also Obama does better in the Caucus. Caucus States aren’t the voice of ALL the people, due to time restrictions many could not vote, thus there was no exit poll on their voice.

Why does Obama do better in the Caucus’? Maybe it has to do with the demographics. Obama seems to attract blacks, higher paid executives and students. Hillary attracts older woman and the working class. At a Caucus you have to give up your day. An executive will not lose his job if takes a few hours off, often demonstrated by those three-hour lunches. A student will still graduate if he takes the day off. However, the working class is not afforded the luxury of more then a one-hour lunch at the most. As a member of the working class in a right-to-work state you don’t get off Christmas, Thanksgiving and certainly not Caucus day.

Many who could not attend a Caucus due to time restrictions will vote in the general election we can vote on our lunch hour or after work Therefore, these polls mean nothing.

This is what Hillary said on senate floor before voting for Irag war:

"I come to this decision from the perspective of a senator from New York who has seen all too closely the consequences of last year's terrible attacks on our nation," she said at the time. "In balancing the risks of action versus inaction, I think New Yorkers who have gone through the fires of hell may be more attuned to the risk of not acting. I know that I am."

Besides, Clinton said then, the administration had made a powerful case, armed with intelligence about Iraq.

"Now, I believe the facts that have brought us to this fateful vote are not in doubt," she said.

She called Saddam Hussein a tyrant, a man who even tortured his own family to hang onto power. She chose her words carefully: "A vote for it is not a vote to rush to war. It is a vote that puts awesome responsibility in the hands of our president. And we say to him, 'Use these powers wisely and as a last resort.'"

Obama’s campaign has no substance; his whole campaign is based on hope and inspiration. Obama says, “Hope in the face of difficulty, hope in the face of uncertainty, the audacity of hope...” However, hope is nothing but a wish that prevents man from taking action. The definition of hope in the dictionary is: wish for earnestly. Have we forgotten the legend of Pandora’s box? Here hope was considered an evil. If we just hope for the war to end, we hope for financial security, we hope for the end of global warming, it’s not going to just happen. Hope is not a strategic plan. “Change we can believe in” needs substance not just hope.

Obama Lies: Obama’s record shows he supports the war, voted twice in 2006 against bringing America's troops back home. He voted for war appropriations giving our money to Halliburton and Blackwater. His latest bit of posturing S 433 allows the Bush Administration to suspend any troop withdrawal! if not suspended, still keeps the troops in Iraq for a long time to come? Obama when faced with tough choices always gave in to pressure from the Bush administration or corporate lobbyists.

We should judge a person by actions and not their words.
The fact that Obama choose Mr. Wright as his spiritual teacher for 20 years and included Mr. Wright in his election staff speaks well for Mr. Obama’s thinking and actions. Words are easy to manipulate and it is UNLIKELY that Obama's recent speech was written by Mr. Obama anyway. Mr. Obama has a powerful and power hungry staff that will do or say anything to get him elected to power. And for those who haven’t done their homework regarding the history of cruelty of Mr. Obama’s wife to the poor and working class, I suggest you do.

But clearly this man Mr. Obama is not to be trusted with the future of our great country. And regardless that he is ‘fashionably black’ and that many of you have some desire to prove to yourself or to others that you are not prejudice and that you like ‘black people’ with an attitude of ‘See, I like black people, I’m voting for a black person,’ such an attitude of voting for a person because of their race is the definition of prejudice.
Regardless whether you are black or white, voting for a skin color is a deplorable act requiring a level of intelligence of an adolescent monkey.

But it seems to me if Mr. Obama had a lighter skin tone, there is no way he would be tolerated in as much he is aligned with a violent religious group, and never says anything substantial. And not only that, consider today’s announcement that the chief of the firm involved in the State Department’s passport breach is Obama adviser. And that Obama has been caught lying about Rezko, regarding the amount of money Rezko gave him, and that Obama still hasn't come clean about his Rezko land deal.

Just look at the kind of people Mr. Obama associates with. If Obama were to become president, what would stop Mr. Obama from appointing Mr. Wright to his cabinet? And to be sure, if anyone complained about Mr. Wright’s appointment, no doubt they would be called racist.

Mr. Obama is partly running on ‘a premise of guilt’ that if you don’t vote for him, it is because you don’t like his race. This premise is manipulative and certain to have disastrous consequences for America and the world, for we should have as our country’s leader someone with wisdom and knowledge regardless of race, not someone hungry for power for the sake of power.

Out of all the 300 million people in America, is this really who you want for president?

We were warned about an Anti-Christ for over a thousand years, now is the time to learn from that warning and prevent what seems to be a potential Anti-Christ from getting into power.

I love this stuff. Americans are, at heart, kind of goofy. Unfortunately, this one isn't as good as the "it's raining McCain" vid - a true masterpiece of schlock.

The "Hillary in Tuzla" movie trailer is also pretty funny...

Fact is she went to Bosnia that is a lot more than what Obama did, maybe he should give us a video of exactly which foreign countries he went too and we are not counting Africa where his cousin is.

Posted by: SJ | Mar 24, 2008 11:32:53 PM

Hey Hillary why don't you tell Americans how you sat by in the White House on the nights that Bill, and Sandy Weil of Citi Bank and your good Friend Rubin planned on de-regulating the Banking industry?

Glass-Steagall, look Bill sold us out, and Hillary watched and did nothing.

I'm not tired of Hillarys lies as much as I am the media's lies.

And how is this supposed to be worse than Obama denying that he heard Wright say nefarious stuff repeatedly to the press then admitting it in his speech then denying it again to Larry King? It still doesn't change the fact that he chose to associate himself with an anti-American extremist for 20 years.

I believe Hillary Clinton simply miss spoke about Bosnia. If you read her book, she clearly outlines what happen. Which the video confirmed.

People are human, they miss speak or get the fact confused at times. It happens to us all!

I am not a Hillary Clinton supporter. But, I respect her roll as senator, first lady, in the campaign. She is a remarkable woman. But darn it's amazing how some MSM and some Obama people in are so cruel and disrespectful.

To bring up someone comments below, Fox News reported on Hillary Clinton's economy speech today. Gave it good reviews.
