Auchi, Ouch - April 15, 2008 9:18 AM
The New York Times -- not to mention the Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, and the Associated Press report that a witness in the Rezko trial testified that in 2004 Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and his wife attended a party at Antoin Rezko's home in honor of controversial Iraqi-born British businessman Nadhmi Auchi.

The testimony, by the government's star witness against Rezko, Stuart Levine, seems to undermine Obama's claim he doesn't recall ever meeting Mr. Auchi, who in 2003 was convicted of fraud in France, (a conviction Auchi is appealing).

ISN’T IT STRANGE THAT OBAMA ONLY REMEMBERS THINGS AFTER HE GETS CAUGHT?

If Obama gets the nomination, the media and the right are going to have a field day! Think about it.

JEREMIAH WRIGHT. He does not know how to shut up. He is back on the pulpit inflaming Fox with his "stuck on stupid comment." WHO is stuck on stupid, Jeremiah?? Go home and watch your greatest hits---I'm sure we will be subjected to them again and again. 527s in heaven.

WILLIAM AYERS, Obama's friend and fellow board member, who AFTER 9/11 said he did not regret setting bombs in DC back in the 70s.

TONY REZKO, who was involved in the purchase of Obama's home, now on trial for corruption.

MICHELLE OBAMA, who has never been proud of this country until just now, who has said that America is "mean" and has a "broken soul." Who is bitter? But has anyone figured out why she is bitter?????

OBAMA'S own comments about small town America, lapel pins and "typical white people." Has anyone suggested to him that it is not a good idea to lump people into groups and judge them? Seems sort of like stereotyping to me. Obama in particular comes off as arrogant when he does it.

You get my point. Kind of makes any Clinton story look like a toddler amusement ride, doesn't it. And this is just the beginning...

Senator Obama is certainly out of touch with the thoughts and feelings of American families. I just looked at the polls and Obama has lost 23 points to Clinton in several polls. Also, Obama was mentioned in the Rezko trial again today and his pastor is still making the news, all negative for Obama. Maybe all the John Q. Voters get the true story/info about this politician who even bribes young people to work on his campaign. He is a fraud.

Senator Obama is an arrogant politician who speaks and looks down on most hard-working Americans. His oratory skills are great but he is really an empty shell of man who has done little to bring jobs and improved life styles to his district in Chicago. He is just another politican who wants the power that this elected office will give him even though he does not have the intergity, judgement and experience the position requires. Vote for a rational and honest candidate, not Senator Obama.

Senator Barack Obama's wife Michelle is "Kim Jong-Il dressed up with a bit of Oprah Winfrey dressing," according to Mark Steyn, probably the most widely read columnist in North America.

If you think Obama is not an elitist then listen to Michelle Obama's language. Listen to this. Quote, this is from the UCLA speech she gave, "And Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. Put down your division, that you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones, that you push yourselves to be better and that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved and uninformed."

There are plenty of good-pay technical and professional jobs going off-shore: IT tech programmers jobs going to India, Brazil, Argentina. Project Manager jobs going to India, China, Argentina, Brazil. Call Center customer service jobs going to northern Ireland, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Argentina, India, China. Accounting and tax preparation jobs going to India. After a lay-off downsizing, I got a job offer and then was called back by the HR manager and told the job was going to someone on an H1B visa, and per policy they do not hire US citizens. I was turned down for several jobs because I was not fluent in Spanish. When I called State's unemployment office, the staff were native Spanish-speakers with broken English. These off-shore workers no longer pay US taxes, and the corporations do not claim the revenue for US taxes. The paycheck, the technical expertise, the tax base is gone, gone, gone.

Thinking Americans understand the good of NAFTA. All the jobs you southpaws talk about are menial labor. Name a decent paying job that has migrated overseas. Just one!

Here's an interesting quote for the Clinton camp that is attacking Obama for his PA remarks:

"If [Republicans] could cut funding for Medicare, Medicaid, education, and the environment, middle-class Americans would see fewer benefits from their tax dollars, feel more resentful paying taxes, and become even more receptive to their appeals for tax cuts and their strategy of waging campaigns on divisive social and cultural issues like abortion, gay rights, and guns."

Sticks and stones ...

Doesn't this headline tell it all:

"Pennsylvania crowd jeers Clinton attacks on Obama"

Today Hillary continued to hammer Obama over his PA comments.

But the Pennsylvanian audience at the forum put on by the Alliance for American Manufacturing didn't appreciate her line of attack.

"I understand my opponent came this morning and spent a lot of his time attacking me," Hillary said at the beginning of her remarks.

Many in the crowd responded with audible groans, and a few shouted, "No!"

Earlier the same crowd cheered Obama may times.

Same with the PA Compassion forum btw.

Pennsylvanians LOVE Barack Obama! I think. I hope. Now let's wait for some reliable polls. Obama is alreay UP today in the Rasmussen and Gallup tracking polls.

A VOTE FOR HILLARY IS:

A vote for NAFTA, today she stated she will fix NAFTA, that her husband made a mistake on. Yet she keeps Penn on the payroll, and Bill is probably on the Emperor number 2 list as the Mayor of New York was number 9.

A vote for Hillary is 4 years more of Republican rule.
Cheney's Hallibuton
Bush big Oil.

A vote for Hillary is more bullets flying over your children's head. And I bet they will never forget the fear of near death istance, and will not misspeak about what happen

The same Rasm poll that has NC a red state

Obama and McCain tied

However,

McCain beats Clinton by double digits

The same Rasm poll

That has Obama closing in to McCain leads in Alaska, Montana, and Ohio

However,

McCain widens his lead against Clinton in Ohio

and beats Clinton in Alaska and Montana by double digits

???

The same Rasm poll that has Obama beating McCain in New Mexico by

However McCain leads Hillary by 3

???

Seems Obama was right once again

We will see red states turning into blue states in November when he's the nominee

Here's the difference:

Hillary talks to the issues.

Obama preaches hope and avoids issues.

Pretty simple!

Vannessa: Hasn't Dogsoldier told you not to pay attention to all those polls?

Posted by: russell | Apr 14, 2008 7:39:06 PM

Vanessa

Now read Rasmussen's daily tracking post.

PS: Rasmussen traditionally has the most accurate polling.
