Evertime I see Obama, I think he would be a good model for toothpaste, mouthwash and teeth whitners. He does have a nice smile: it is a shame his politics are so stained and crooked.

Maybe, by 2020 people will be ready to vote for him. That is, if he can clean up his politics (and he still has his teeth, hearing and can stand up)

OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT IN 2020..

The great Obama is trying to look Presidential again---what a sad, bad, performance.

The Best and well put together for laughs. Hillary looks more like some Lucifer. All Hillary wants is to go down in history as: A first-lady, a senator and a president for the history books. It won't happen on our watch. Hillary mission is to set a record whilst OBAMA mission is to redeem America of his evil deeds and solve problems for the next generations. History setting just for the sake of history is Delusional NONSENSE -------------- PERIOD!

Before we forget about it, Hillary during the ABC debate said:

"On a couple of occasions in the last weeks, I just said some things that weren't in keeping with what I knew to be the case."

In other words, for the first time in many years she admitted that she's a liar. For she KNEW she was NOT telling the truth, on several occasions.

Posted by: kirsten | Apr 18, 2008 5:10:11 PM

Americans do not trust Hillary any more. That's why she would have NO chance whatsoever of winning the general election.

See today's new Newsweek poll for some dramatic results for Hillary:

"One of the more devastating results for Clinton was that a majority of all registered voters now see her as dishonest and untrustworthy. According to the poll, just four in 10 (41 percent) registered voters view the New York senator as honest and trustworthy, while 51 percent think the opposite. This compares with solid majorities of voters who see Obama and McCain as honest and trustworthy (both polled 61 percent).

The results suggest that Clinton was damaged more by being caught in a tall tale about landing in Bosnia under sniper fire than Obama has been by his recent controversies, including the firestorm of criticism provoked by the Illinois senator's remarks that blue-collar voters "cling" to religion, guns and other issues because of their bitterness. In addition, over half (53 percent) of voters say they believe Obama shares their values, more than those who say the same thing about Clinton (47 percent) or McCain (45 percent)."

When Hillary beat him by 15 points on tuesday, then isnt time for the media to start calling for obama to dropout after outspending her 5 to 1 in that state. Because it will show that he has lost the core democrats.

its not about polls believe me we have seen them all this go round and news week is a rag and more leans right. but this just sucks you gota do what you gota do .McCain in 08 if not Clinton just like in 1980 Regan instead of Carter

Posted by: Bishop | Apr 18, 2008 4:47:07 PM

Folks, stop the bickering...

NEWSWEEK's new poll show a 2O POINT LEAD nationwide for Obama. Better start making up your mind instead of fighting on...

Here's part of the report:

"Despite her campaign's relentless attacks on Barack Obama's qualifications and electability, Hillary Clinton has lost a lot of ground with Democratic voters nationwide going into Tuesday's critical primary in Pennsylvania, a new NEWSWEEK poll shows.

The survey of 1,209 registered voters found that Obama now leads Clinton by nearly 20 points, or 54 percent to 35 percent, among registered Democrats and those who lean Democratic nationwide. The previous Newsweek poll, conducted in March after Clinton's big primary wins in Ohio and Texas, showed the two Democrats locked in a statistical tie (45 percent for Obama to 44 percent for Clinton). The new poll puts Obama ahead among women as well as men, and voters aged 60 and older as well as younger voters."

Hillary is going to win Pa. and she will stay in and win Kentucky,WV.PR leaving out MI and FL. is the only way Obama can win and he can't win in the bible belt in Nov. McCain will have abot 10 million of Hillary's voters so it should be a good year for the Republicans and thanksgiving will suck my 2brothers won't let us 5 girls and our husbands live it down but this is for my grandchildren. And My husband is Native America but even he sees who has to win.

Barack Obama often boasts he is “the only candidate who isn’t taking a dime from Washington lobbyists,” yet his fundraising team includes 38 members of law firms that were paid $138 million last year to lobby the federal government, records show.

Those lawyers, including 10 former federal lobbyists, have pledged to raise at least $3.5 million for the Illinois senator’s presidential race. Employees of their firms have given Obama’s campaign $2.26 million, a USA TODAY analysis of campaign finance data shows

Posted by: True Truth | Apr 18, 2008 4:25:18 PM

H Aslan, that's what we heard in 2004. All the "young people" and new democrat registrations.

Puhleeze. Been there, done that. And Bush still won.

Yawn. You're kool-aid talk is starting to bore me. President McCain. Count on it.

Posted by: Jo | Apr 18, 2008 4:24:43 PM

Bishop: That makes total sense...since they're basically the same person.

Posted by: H. Aslan Aslani-Far | Apr 18, 2008 4:23:43 PM

H Aslan, Americans would rather vote for a guy who has an endorsement from Bush (they're both GOP after all) than an endorsement from Farrakhan and HAMAS!

Lol. Farrakhan & Hamas! How impressive! Barack just lost the Jewish vote too! This election season just keeps getting better & better.

Posted by: Jo | Apr 18, 2008 4:23:10 PM

If Clinton goes down McCain is my new man

Posted by: Bishop | Apr 18, 2008 4:22:32 PM

H Aslan, I hope you keep thinking that because it's more fun that way when you lose.

McCain is not Bush. Never has been, never will be. The media has ALWAYS built up McCain for NOT always going along with Bush.

Any other republican and I might agree with you. But McCain has ALWAYS been one of the most admired republicans.

He'll be president. Get use to it.

Posted by: Jo | Apr 18, 2008 4:21:10 PM

Oh yes and H Aslan, you forget one thing, the Obamabots have so ticked off the Hillary supporters that they will switch to McCain and hope for an opening for Hillary in 2012.

President McCain - get use to it.

Posted by: Jo | Apr 18, 2008 4:18:12 PM

Jo: Yeah...he really stood up to Bush when he met him in the Rose Garden and got his endorsement...yeah, really showed how different he is by embracing W's disasterous economic policy...lots of distinction between him and W on Iraq...and let's not forget his campy "Bomb...Bomb...Bomb...Bomb, Bomb Bomb, Iran..." remark...yeah lots and lots of comfort there...the guy is nuts. I'll give him credit for his service to the country...as most Americans will, but noone is really going to want THAT guys finger on the button...so, no, Jo...it's you who'll lose.

Guaranteed.

Posted by: H. Aslan Aslani-Far | Apr 18, 2008 4:17:08 PM

Jo: McCain doesn't want to face Obama -- he's terrified of Obama's ability to raise money (truly staggering) -- his vast support and the enthusiasm of voters and the fact that against Clinton he knows the treasure trove of dirty he can sling. Not to mention that he is bent out of shape, like Hillary is, that this young, dynamic "upstart" has crumbled one "contenders" chances and he's next. By the way...McCain has an awful lot of dirt too -- don't be fooled...his wife, the menu-plagarizing Cindy, made a whole lotta money off the Charles Keating affair...that's coming up...not to mention the fact that the DNC has already filed a complaint with the FEC re: McCain's use of a promise of Federal Matching funds to secure a $6 million loan for his campaign in December and then rejecting Federal Matching Funds for the rest of the primaries...you can't use Federal funds as collateral like that and then go on and raise independent money...

Posted by: H. Aslan Aslani-Far | Apr 18, 2008 4:13:28 PM

H Aslan, keep up the kool-aid induced enthusiasm! It's admirable. However it just makes it more fun to see your shock when the election doesn't turn out for your guy.

We laughed in Nov 2004 and we'll laugh again.

McCain is not Bush. He's known to stand up to Bush. He's not an evangelical. He's viewed as a liberal republican. Enough so that independents will swing his way. He's admired and has been for his whole career. Sorry. You lose.

Posted by: Jo | Apr 18, 2008 4:11:24 PM

H Aslan, you thought the Kerry-Bush race was a slam dunk. Your kind thought Ned Lamont would trample Joe Lieberman in Conneticut - a blue state anti war)....your side does NOT know this country.

So your saying Obama will win is laughable. You see a bunch of rallies with a bunch of excited college people as a sure win. College & young people do not NEAR equal the amount of senior citizens that will end up voting for McCain if Hillary loses.

Sorry, that's the facts, jack. :)

Posted by: Jo | Apr 18, 2008 4:08:26 PM

Jo: That's a really bold statement -- highly inaccurate. BOTH Democratic nominees have MORE baggage than Bush? Really? Like over 7,000 deaths on their hands? Like failing to avenge the lives of Americans killed in New York and Americans killed in an idiotic war? Like taking a country in surplus and turning it into a country indebted to China? Like that? What planet are you living on? McCain has fully tied himself to Bush...and for it, he's never going to be elected. As far as your specious claims regarding Obama, what real baggage is there? All of this tangential nonsense has been pursued for Clinton's benefit -- a woman who has more political baggage than any other politician in this country -- except maybe for her philandering husband...oh, wait, that doesn't help her...and besides, McCain can't be President...you know why? You can't be sworn into office if you can't raise your hand to take the oath.

Posted by: H. Aslan Aslani-Far | Apr 18, 2008 4:08:24 PM

SuperDelegates,
If you are in a state that voted for Hillary, by all means, do as Howard Dean says, and place your endorsement today for Hillary, you have the support of your state, so good rationale to do it. You can cite the factor that Obama is inexperienced, that he acts too aloof and arrogant, and that he is a wimp. I welcome the Obama supporters to do the same, because most of his states are small states, so we will not even see a bump in his direction.

On one of the political shows the other day one journalist admitted that after the debate the other night, the McCain team DEFINITELY wants to go against Barack. They see him as a definitely easy win now.

Posted by: Jo | Apr 18, 2008 4:06:25 PM

H Aslan, in any other year with an average democrat nominee (not Hillary or Barack) I might agree with you.

But having a black president is a HUGE change. That black president will have to have a really clean slate. Barack doesn't. He has a very very disturbing background and it becomes more so everyday.

With all his ties to Bush, with the economy tanking, with the unpopular war, you'd think either Hillary or Barack would be 20 points ahead of McCain. They're not. He's ahead.

That spells trouble for your party. McCain will win, because both democrat nominees have way more baggage than McCain or Bush.

Jo: NOPE. McCain ain't gonna be the President. That is the guarantee.

Posted by: H. Aslan Aslani-Far | Apr 18, 2008 4:01:12 PM

H Aslan, if getting Barack the democrat nomination is your goal, you'll end up happy.

If getting him the presidency is your goal, you won't be.

Posted by: Jo | Apr 18, 2008 3:59:51 PM

Jo: Why don't you just invoke one of W's made up words...you think I'm misunderestimating McCain? You think I don't understand this country very well? Is that it? Maybe so, because after 4 years of a Bush debacle I was shocked when that Moron got another 4 years to fully run this country into the ground...but, guess what...McCain can't do it. Something about a cowboy with a cane and false teeth...and that stupid whistle he makes when he speaks, you know the one, that irritating I've got a piece of Pecan nut caught in my front teeth whistle...especially when he kept saying Petraeusssssss' name...

Posted by: H. Aslan Aslani-Far | Apr 18, 2008 3:59:38 PM

If Obama is the nominee, McCail will win easily. McCain is not Bush, in fact the media has always praised McCain for being a maverick and going against his party. They can't backtrack on that now. McCain has always been an admired guy.

Plus when Barack tries to bash a guy who was imprisoned for many years, he will look really bad. President McCain, get use to it.

Posted by: Jo | Apr 18, 2008 3:56:05 PM

H Aslan, yes McCain will win. No way a black man with this much anti American, questionable baggage can win a general election. Just ain't gonna happen. And if you think he will, then you don't know this country very well.

But hey, hasn't that ALWAYS been the democrats/liberals problem? Misunderstanding the (bitter) country?!! Lol.

Posted by: Jo | Apr 18, 2008 3:53:21 PM

Posted by: Owen | Apr 18, 2008 3:51:35 PM

N'Obama: That is the most ridiculous statement ever made. Go back and look at the previous debates, I guarantee that no 50-minute onslaught against Shillary happened -- if it had, there would have been equal outrage...and stop getting all your news from the Clinton campaign website...the rest of the world is equally disappointed with ABC...from Politico, to Newsweek, to Slate, to Salon, to the Washington Post and the WSJ...CBS News...even the Philadephia papers and Gov. Rendell, himself -- Clinton's strongest supporter in PA...what, you don't care what Rendell thinks about this? That's awful convenient.

Posted by: H. Aslan Aslani-Far | Apr 18, 2008 3:48:52 PM

N'Obama: Yeah, McCain's gonna win...you're right... mean, how can McCain not win after globe-trotting and endless photo-ops with that bastion of the conservative right...that real Republican...that man who may well address the RNC Convention...that man who makes Ronald Reagan look like a yellow-belly...of course I'm talking about his potential running mate:

JOE LIEBERMAN!!! Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha.

Posted by: LOM | Apr 18, 2008 3:31:10 PM

Kirsten, I didn't expect you to get it. The Obamabots are mad because they say George got questions from Sean Hannity and he's for the other party.

Well Chris Matthew didn't get questions from someone else, he didn't have to, he was the MODERATOR.

See, it would be like Sean Hannity moderating the Obama-Hillary debate.

Jo: You're a boob. There is no comparison between one question and a 50 minute onslaught...and this isn't whining, it's pointing out that objectivity in "journalism" no longer exists...the point is, no it wasn't fair to the Republican candidates...but no one, not even Shillary was exposed to that kind of an ambush in one sitting. The point is, if we know the media on both sides of the aisle are prejudiced, why should we allow them to "moderate" these debates? It would be far better if respected experts on the various issues were asking these questions...something the American public long assumed was the case with "journalists" -- but since that vocation no longer exists, maybe we should consider -- no demand -- that more respectable, capable people conduct the debates for the general election.

The only mocking of young people that I'm seeing is coming from RapperGate, where a group of rappers, who also promote revolution, and a relationship with Assata Shakur (wanted Black Panther), have been dispatched to get the Obama message across through music, to propagandize young people.

Funny, just as Harriet what struck me most in the video is these hor-ri-ble words from Hillary about her campaign:

"It's about me being a woman"

As a woman, I debounce, reject and repudiate such utter BS!

Imagine BO saying

"It's about me being a man"

or

"It's about me being a black man"

I'm SO GLAD it's over and out for that woman.

Leadership, if you want to see what type of leader Barack will be, compare him to his very good friend (the one he copies speeches from) Massachusetts governor (black) Duval Patrick. He was very much like Obama during the campaign. Full of promises & hope.

Now his polls are in the tank. Trust me, he won't be getting a second term.
The Massachusetts people will not be voting for Obama - they've been there, done that and it has been a disaster.

Obama also has me doing things for him...writing for him all on my own, when I can. Just another citizen.

Arguing with people, throwing up emails to my friends, writing letters to newspapers.

...and he has millions (yes millions) of others doing the same thing. People telling their stories in whatever form they can.
... and I am white, self-made ..."blue collar-born and to the core" guy from Saugus MA, living in NH. Whose father and grandfathers served in the military. Whose ancestors include men that fought at Lexington and Concord. Whose sister works for the DOD and whose nephew is on a ship overseas. Who voted for Bill Clinton twice and Al Gore and John Edwards then John Kerry.

Obama has millions of people spouting support and telling stories in whatever form they can. You can call it propaganda...we call it our voices.

Funny! And while it is clearly pro Obama, it did not exactly miss represent HRC's campaign. Moody, disorganized, dislexic, messages, pissed away money, arrogant etc.

Talib Kweli is not a paid or volunteered campaign staff of Obama...

If one chooses to promote Obama, it is he/she will

Another point, Talib Kweli has a prominent AA base. Obama already has the AA base

If Hillary Clinton wants to know why majority of the young vote drive to Obama, I'll give her a little tip

Stop with the negative campiagning

Young voters whom are not watching cnn or msnbc or searching on the web about candidtaes stance on issues will vote on what they know.

Most young voters are aware of the Clinton scandals... not so much of the positives that came along with the Clintons

You then figure both candidate are almost identical on the issues, so you vote on guts and whom you feel is honest.

One candidate offers hope and change

One candidate offers the "smae ol' politics" and negative ads

Which would you expect a young voter to chose???

In the young voters eyes, the Clintons image is not painted so well.

and she reenforces that image with negative campaigning.

When Howard Dean ran for President, everyone was swept up by his ability to raise money and attract new Democrats. We should be very thankful he did not get elected President. His leadership qualities, as head of the DNC have been pathetic. So my thoughts for the ABC News Team and for the world are: Like Howard Dean - Obama is a good fundraiser. Obama attracts new Democrats. Yet, if elected, will Obama be like Howard Dean??!! -- Will Obama be a poor undecisive leader (think of Obama's undeclared 137 Illinois Senate votes)? Will the entire DNC truly get behind Obama and support him? No. No they will not.

BKMC,
Since you are a student of Haitian history, you are no doubt aware of the bumblings of one Baby Doc Duvalier, who was overthrown by a popular uprising. This uprising occurred just after the visit of the Pope. Talib Kweli writes and posts about revolution, right. Is that what the Obama thugs are after? Revolution?

Yep, with a McCain presidency!

We are almost there. Soon...maybe just maybe we get a new chance to fix the problems...and get us back to the country we are supposed to be.

...almost there.

As many of you Obama supporters were quick to point out after Hillary made a Rocky reference in a speech, Apollo Creed beat Rocky!

ROTFLMAO I love it.
Things are what they are and while I can feel for the Clinton supporters she simply has not earned the nomination. It is now to the point that the Clinton "machine" wants to discount ALL the past votes and just let PA count....and that might make a good sound bite and allow her to drag in enough money to pay off her campaign debts? It's as over for her as it was for OJ after his trial...she may still be walking? but the respect is gone and so is the ability to draw in those 109 million dollars over the next 7 years....
The majority of the people have spoken.
The only ones still angry and trying to write articles that slam Obama are the ones who don't want to see change because of their incomes being subject to taxation at a rate the rest of us pay.

OBAMA is a thug. Trying to blame the moderators on his POOR performance. He sounded like an idiot. Like a child who failed a test and blames the teacher. Then, in two speeches in NC, at the exact same wording, he gives the "finger" and his infantile supporters think it is great. NO, it is a disgrace.

The terrifying Hillary cackle after Olbermann's tirade - I can't get it out of my head.

Nice boxing matches. Hillary after finding her own voice is unforgettable, a keeper.

BKMC,
There is Barack Obama propaganda all over the place. From the looks of it the Obama campaign has a propaganda operative, on Talib Kweli, who is promoting the Obama message through music, to try to reach the youth. This is the same Talib Kweli who has an association with Minister Farrakhan, and who is also visited Assata Shakur in Cuba. Assata Shakur, a former Black Panther member, is also an escaped prisoner who is a wanted cop-killer in the U.S., living in exile in Cuba.

Do you know anything about this propaganda artist, BKMC?
