Clinton on Easley Street
April 29, 2008 9:57 AM
One week before the North Carolina primary, Gov. Mike Easley comes out for Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY.
Easley said that Clinton "makes Rocky Balboa look like a pansy," per ABC News' Eloise Harper, in a comment that assuredly will cause something of a ruckus among Clinton's myriad gay supporters.
Easley also took a shot at Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, though he didn't make any references to his looking like a "pansy."
"There’s a lot of ‘yes we can’ and ‘yes we should’ going on," Easley said. "Hillary Clinton is ready to deliver, that’s the difference.”

Talk about “chickens coming home to roost.” Obama began a vicious campaign against Hillary by going after her character in a shallow, insulting way. He gave praise to Reagan, which of course is fine. However, he took praise a step further (obvious political plan) to bring up Bill Clinton (a fellow Democrat) into a negative light in comparison to a Republican. You Obama, do not use Karl Rove tactics, your tactics are unique in a megalomaniac sort of way, until the real you slips in on the stump; i.e. “Bitter”. You thought that would work, but it simply added to a list of insults you and your campaign have developed for those voting for Hillary or McCain. Everything you have done IS political, no matter how low. But the people didn’t accept your political attacks on them. We believe in issues first as a people, naturally. Who a person is also means a lot. Many of us caught on to who you are long ago. I am glad the rest of America is finally seeing it too. By the way, I am half black and that side of me has cringed at many of the attacks you have made against the Clintons. We know Bill’s weaknesses. We also know their records. They are good people in general. You Mr. Obama are NO saint. I like Hillary because of her intelligence, determination and proven record of doing the most possible for the people. All of you use politics, but you used it by coming in as a “Unifier” when in fact you were performing a cannibalistic move on a woman who is respected by many. Your attempt to make your views seem elite, proved your elitist attitude in your “I deserve to be President” campaign.

Hilliary and Rev. Wright are in this together to get Barrack to Denounce Re. Wright to get black votes! Do not Believe? Wright was one of Guest Speakers at Clintons Breakfast club in White House! If not wondering? Read on Secret " Family Religion " in White House and tell me different?

Well, he was on Hardball, perhaps tamped down by serenity meds, still trying to spin for Obama. It wasn't convincing, but he was more calm.

Belle-Star...LOL! ,,"axelbama" I love it! You are much more creative than myself. Richardson really hitched his cart to the wrong horse. I think he is beginning to realize this.

Belle Star,
When they both had rally in Oregon,Bill R gave a speech which praised him and spoke like a salesman.
He spoke in Spanish eventhough not many hispanic attended the rally.
I wonder, what he is going to do now?

CD,
If you think Hillary tried to buy this election how about Obama?
How many super delegates have endorsed him?
Every time he lose, the next day he'd get endorsement.
That doesn't make sense at all.
He must made some promises to them.
Anyway, he can buy this election not Hillary because she is broke (Obama supporters said this).

Richardson's the one I almost feel sorry for. Given his uncharacteristically-hysterical demeanor in recent teevee appearances, maybe Axelbama extorted Richardson's "endorsement" in some way (if SO, now would be the time for Richardson to blow the whistle on 'em).

Nooo. Obama's outspending Clinton 3-to-1 again, just as in Pennsylvania (which he lost ANYway, before Reverend Wright and Alice Palmer).
Are Tarheels going for Obama's crap? Let's hope NOT.

Hillary does not have the money to buy the election, unlike Bama who is outspending her again and losing again. What did Bama promise Richardson...VP? Maybe thats why "Pelousy" says no dream ticket.

What has Hillary promised Easley? She is trying to buy this election. N.C. - don't fall for this!

It's hard to imagine that he has any organization to help her with. Everyone (including his old organization) is already lined up with the two candidates for governor. So in terms of effect, the endorsement is minimal: it is good for her because it means somebody who's popular endorsed her, but it's not anywhere near as significant as the fact that the 2 Dem candidates for Governor (who will actually be out there pulling votes) both endorsed Obama, or the endorsement of Clinton by Rendell back in PA.

Whatcha wanna bet that Wright's ALREADY talking/talked? Obama's having a press conference, and he's stuttering and stammering. I'd bet on Wright and the black church de-throning this fraud, doing the "media"'s job.

I was very glad to hear Gov. Easley endorsed Hillary.
Hillary did not give birth to the Rev. Wright. If you want to blame anyone blame Bill Moyers for inviting him to do an interview. That is what got the ball rolling.

I am so with you woodburykt. I am so disgusted with Olbermann and his spin on the Wright issue. Last night, they were spinning the Wright issue out to be a jealous man because Obama is getting all the attention. That's desperate journalism for you. I tell you this, Obama can't split from Wright and Wright has a very long leash to talk because if Wright spills all that he knows about Obama....its the end of his presidential nomination. I am so glad this nomination process has been prolonged...Obama's chickens are coming home to roost.

Seems we have our own axis of evil wanting to be president. Clinton had few endearing qualities to begin with but what she has done to the Dems is something else; She has gotten them at each other's throat. McCain will get us the same things that have put this country in the worst condition it has ever been in; today there is even fear that people will start hoarding food, can you believe that? Pity Obama, who didn't think that those in his own party would do a job on him but Hillary would be president at any price. But she has done a job on herself too because there isn't going to be a healing in November and many Dems are going to sit it out. The GOP might just give Hillary a medal; they certainly have much to thank her for.

Unfortunately, if he removes the necktie, his head falls off.

I love to know if Obama agrees with Rev. Wright on the LEFT/RIGHT Brain theory/differences of "Africans and Europeans" Since Obama is half white, does he have the capacity to learn with both sides of his brain at the same time?
lollolololol
HOPE CHANGE UNITY --- get real.

The word is polarizing. She knows it and she is repackaging her polarizing, divisive image into that of a "fighter". Com'on America can't you see thru that? That woman isn't a fighter she is a dictator. Her and Bill and now Chelsea represent a monarchy this country cannot afford.
I'm sick of seeing her tout her "fighter" image to deflect the fact that she is is so polarizing and divisive. We have had 4 years of total gridlock in Washington and we are going to get 4 more if she wins the nomination or GE which she cannot do.
Her fighting image equates to four more years of George Bush. I ask you America, how has this been working for us?

"Is Hillary supporter behind Wright's appearance yesterday?"
Desperate indeed. Wright "chatted" with this (black, female) minister, then decided to go to the podium and throw the faithless Obama, supposedly his friend of twenty years, under the bus? The wonder is that this story even made it INTO the MSM.
This sounds like an accusation of witchcraft, which is right in line with the Axelbama campaign's anti-woman activities to date.

You Obama backers are delusional if you think Hillary is to blame for Wright shooting off his mouth again. He's on a BOOK TOUR people; he was actively pushing his to-be-released book.
Morning Joe pointed out this morning that politicians don't jump onto sinking ships - and they also don't back losers. Maybe Easley knows something we don't know yet.
