Philly turnout is very high all over city , if this stays this way all day til 8:00 i think Obama has a real shot at an upset Provided the normal doesn't happen in Philly. Such as the dead vote the coma vote the double voters and so on. With both FAST EDDIE RENDELL and new Mayor MIKE NUTTER being in hillay's camp and their knowledge of the mysterious Philly voting through the years watch for 1 million 600 thousand of the 1 million 200 thousand voters actually voting

Predictions?
Here is mine. Hillary 60%, Obama 39%.

I want a revote in New York! LOL
Just read today's Siena New York Poll Release.
54% of New Yorkers have a favorable opinion of Obama, against 48% for Clinton.
Only 34% have an UNfavorable opinion of Obama, wheres 46% have an UNfavorable opinion of Clinton.
And Obama is doing better than Clinton against McCain.
I wonder, will Hillary be able to keep her New York Senate seat after losing the presidential nomination?

don't forget WEST COAST MESSENGER is affiliated with the Clinton campaign --

The RCP Average for the Democratic Presidential Nomination is at a record high for Barack Obama today:
Obama has a full 10 point AVERAGE lead over Clinton in the national polls.

There was quite a scene at my polling place in the Art Museum Area of Philly this morning. A long line and a lot of smiling faces. I think many of us are just glad this thing is over in our state. That being said, today was truly satisfying on many levels. After the kitchen sink, the 3 AM nightmares, bullshit bitter-gate, the debate from hell, and the last minute Rovian scare-you-to-death ads, pushing that button for Senator Obama was like lifting a two ton gorilla named Hillary off my back.
No doubt I will be sad tonight if Obama loses (51-48), but when it is all said and done, I know in my heart and in my mind that I cast the most important vote of my lifetime. And I look forward to doing it again in November.
She will stay and fight and continue to tear him down, but she won't win.
I don't care what happens from here on out, in my judgment, the Clintons are dead and gone.
I wish them no ill-will, just banishment from our country's political landscape.
America is alive again, and we are ready for a new generation of leadership.
Time to change that motto... Yes we WILL.

Nice tie on the GMA piece!
So then, IF Senator Clinton wins big in Pa she lives to fight on. Perhaps even get the nod from her party and goes on to beat up the old guy and win the general.
Then some crackerjack reporter digs into the vote and finds crossover republicans, trying to nix Senator Obama’s bid, were responsible for the large primary win in Pa. that propelled her into the general.
At that point the country unifies and comes together like never before over the definition of the word Irony.

She will either win or lose by a small margin. Pressure will mount for her to bow out. She will stew over it for a few days. I predict she'll announce her withdrawal from the race on April 26th.
My husband predicts that she will lobby McCain for his VP slot, which would fit in with her campaign's Republican bent, i.e. saying McCain would make a better President than Obama, courting the conservative media, being endorsed by her former sworn enemy Scaife, using fear to try to win the election, etc.
Posted by: Cindy | Apr 22, 2008 10:43:51 AM
I agree Hillary will win, but not by as much as she would like. I think a lot of people forget on this board that Obama won Iowa, and a lot of states that are 90% white. Race was never an issue until Bill opened his mouth before South Carolina and then the media jumped on it. As for outspending Hillary, Obama has to! He doesn't have a famous name to run off of. Let's get this done and over with and concentrate on McCain! It's about Past vs. Future!

Another PA voter for Obama. Hillary might win the state, but it's not going to by more than 5 pecentage points. Philly turn out is going to be huge and carry the day. Game over, drive home safely.
Posted by: Roman | Apr 22, 2008 10:21:32 AM
Clinton actually went to Bosnia. Obama lied about not going to church.
Posted by: geevill | Apr 22, 2008 10:16:09 AM
Clinton will win, but the media will spin it to make it look like a plus for Obama regardless of the point spread. Why should we expect any difference between all the previous primary voting outcomes?
Posted by: mhhunt | Apr 22, 2008 10:14:54 AM
Anyone who thinks that voting for Hillary is voting for credible judgement, open door government transparency or anything other than the same old/same old is not an informed voter.
To really know Hillary, track through her past. It's scary.
Barack Obama is genuine and has mobilized the American people - that's the big thing that no other candidate has done since Kennedy. He has engaged the American people of all walks of life, even people who have never voted. That's what it will take to change our country. It's a grassroots campaign, and it's about time!!
Obama 08!!
Posted by: Indiana voter | Apr 22, 2008 10:12:39 AM
Obama is actually a liar. He hided the race card, he lied his relationship with his pastor, he lied about relationship with Rezko, he lied about his capital gain tax plan, he lied about his Iraq plan.
He is just more cunning than Hillary. He is the one untrustworthy. I never know what his 'Change' plan is.

WestCoastMessenger,
Hillary lied about Bosnia, about NAFTA
lest we forget!
Posted by: Joe | Apr 22, 2008 10:07:38 AM
Just see the facts:
Over 30 yrs, low-middle income, work-class, Catholic...favor Mrs. Clinton.
Young people, African-American, high income demanding too much freedom...favor Mr.Obama.
What the difference?
People without financial pressure like their "Word-Change" man
People with pressure for survival love their "action-Change" lady
Your two cents:
Under the difficulty situation faced by the great country, who you pick up with confidence?

Marie,
Good grief. Why is that Obama's zombies always wants to predict the outcome, and always believe that you are doing it with precision accuracy? It's just another mechanism to demonstrate elitist arrogance in an attempt to disrupt the voting process. Why can't you sit back for once and let Democracy work without running your chops?
If you think he will lose today, then the question becomes, if he is the presumptive nominee, why can't he close the deal in the highly critical states?

Hillary was on GMA and said she would nuke Iran, I just love her toughness, lets get other countries to start nuking also, that would solve all the problems...

I DO HOPE THAT OBAMA GETS ENOUGH VOTES.
OBAMA '08
Posted by: I.A.T. Smith | Apr 22, 2008 9:55:40 AM
I live in PA. I am Obama supporter. I know that Hillary will win the state just because of how the state is but she will win by less than 6 points.
Posted by: Marie | Apr 22, 2008 9:55:32 AM
WestCoastMessenger,
So you are expecting a 10-12 point LOSS by OBAMA! You forgot to include information on why he can't close the deal. Since you forgot to ask I'll tell you. 1) inexperience, 2) disturbing relationships, 3) hypocrisy and his return to old style cynical politics, 4) outright lying, 5) lapses into misogyny, 6) he spoke out against the war before he started voting for it (that's called flip-flopping!) and 7) his elite arrogance. That about sums it up.
You just described Hillary!!!!
Posted by: Joe | Apr 22, 2008 9:55:28 AM
Obama CANNOT win the nomination prior to the Convention either. That is the math and the RULES.
Posted by: geevill | Apr 22, 2008 9:54:58 AM
You guys are dreaming....Hilly will win but by maybe 5-8 and thats it .She is so broke not funny. She will stay in until all the idots send in money to make up her 5 mil.Like she needs it.She owes more then her own 5 mil and you ca bet the rest WON'T come out of her pocket...Have a nice day >>>>>>>>

You Hillary Honks are idiots...
Posted by: Joe | Apr 22, 2008 9:49:05 AM
May be one question we should ask ourselves is: "Whats the aim of the whole process"?
The maths are also so difficult in Hillary's side.
Even if she wins tonight, is there any guarantee that she will win in Nov. in PA incase she is the nominee?????? Remember we are still in April. Long way up to Nov.
Posted by: Peace | Apr 22, 2008 9:45:59 AM
Clinton wins by 12% -Obama claims it is a moral victory.
Obama wins NC because of the black voters.
Clinton wins IN, KY, WVA,PR
Obama continues to refuse to answer questions.
Posted by: geevill | Apr 22, 2008 9:43:41 AM
toby...how so you figure he should drop out anymore than Hillary should....he is ahead in popular vote....doesn't male sense. As I have said before we should be worrying about who can beat McCain in Nov...
Posted by: cindyct | Apr 22, 2008 9:38:52 AM
In a perfect world, Hillary by 15 points. An upset in NC, and sweeping win in Indiana,Obama concedes, on to November, and Hillary on Pennsylvania Ave. Keeping my finger crossed. Going out to vote now!!!
Hillary all the way!!!
Posted by: char | Apr 22, 2008 9:33:59 AM
I expect a 10 - 12 point win for Hillary, though I hope it will be a single digit one.
An 10 - 15 will not change anything in this race. A bigger win gives Hillary some true momentum, a smaller win is an indication of Obama's strength and appeal, EVEN in the Pennsylvania (remember Rendell's words about white folks in PA bot voting for black candidates) and its closed primary.
Whatever the outcome is, Obama's lead will be as insurmountable as before, and Hillary's PA adventures will have turned her campaign into a total financial disaster.
Posted by: ken | Apr 22, 2008 9:27:57 AM
Obama gets demolished by 18 points, then his campaign comes out and quit the race. After outspending Hillary 5 to 1 on ads.
