....how do we REALLY know that obama outraised Hillary $40 million to $20 million? His public persona is just all contradictions, so how is THIS claim any more believable? We need him to release his campaign contribution records to know for SURE.

Mary: "Men cheat, yours included, still, not all of them are bad."

Remember, for every men that cheat there is a woman involved.

It was not a virtue to forgave her husband, it was a political move. She knew she will get symphathy and she will grow stronger in public opinion. She is the woman in songs like 'Stand by your man'. She made Bill looks like hanging over an abyss on a thin rope with her holding it. The whole world sighed: "what a strong woman". This is a place we woman often put ourselves in this era: at times we like to be the victim because there are benefits attached.

I wonder: is Bill still sharing a bed with Hillary or are they just business partners?

obamaites take great delight in predicting that hillary has lost and obama has won the nomination. will they take the same delight in the news that mccain has won and obama has lost the general election?

and, btw, obamaites, if hillary is nominated, mccain will lose.

you will deny this. you think your guy will win.

wait until november.

Forget the "small Donation" hyperbole about Obama's campaign.

The report I saw said the donations averaged about $96. That is a far cry from what we have heard about the $10 to $20 Stuff.

Teri B. - you make some excellent points. This HRC supporter will definitely be voting McCain if she doesn't make it. I just can't bring myself to vote Obama...it has nothing to do with race....for me it is all about love of country. When joining his church he made a "non-negotiable commitment to Africa" -- He should have known better. McCain is not perfect or my first choice, but at least nobody can question his commitment to the good ole USA.

jgaw: i know what hillary's history is. i also know the history of the clinton admisnistration in respect to the balkans and i've read the accounts of women who were raped. that is why i find her attempt to make humour out of the bosnian situation so horrible - it is because she makes herself a global spokeswoman for women's rights. i believe she has some strong supporters who have been with her for years - and i cannot imagine that they would suggest she associate bosnia with a laughline on network tv.

it.was.wrong.

To Karen:

"But she ACTED against them by standing by a hushand who's been indicted for sex scandals with other women several times."

Bill cheated, then apologized. Hillary forgave him. To be able to forgive is a virtue, isn't?

Men cheat, yours included, still, not all of them are bad.

Posted by: Mary | Apr 4, 2008 4:12:36 PM

"hillary clinton has been speaking up for women rights all her adult life."

But she ACTED against them by standing by a hushand who's been indicted for sex scandals with other women several times. Worse, she assisted that husband in obstructions of justice and perjury.

mara,
hillary clinton has been speaking up for women rights all her adult life.

Actually I think he really does get the money from individual donors.. 25,50 or 100 dollars at a time. I know we don't have alot of money but we send what we can you guys are reading way too much into it. He inspires people..that is it- he makes us want to help, to contribute so unless you have proof of all these "corrupt people" Obama is getting the money from don't come on here and just spout lies to make yourself feel better about your candidate. $20 million 4 years ago would have been unheard of but it just isn't the best this year. It's just a siogn of people supporting their choice in candidates, not just with their mouths but with their actions

Posted by: whatever | Apr 4, 2008 3:25:32 PM

Obama's campaign is getting money from Chicago's corrupt politicians and Rezko.

With what happened in Ohio, Obama outspent Clinton and Hillary still won!

Posted by: Abby | Apr 4, 2008 3:15:37 PM

In the region Hillary Clinton was joking about last night, at least 20,000 Bosnian women were raped - in a war in which gang-rape was used systematically as a military tactic. Those women may never recover - and some haven't spoken since the war. Watching a leader who supposedly stands as a global spokeswoman for women - and for the voiceless - joke about that war - or rather that genocide turns my stomach.

I think the money is going directly into CNN's and MSNBC'c pocket. He is getting a lot of bang for his buck.

Posted by: Tina D | Apr 4, 2008 1:29:16 PM

Has anyone noticed that Obama's out spending Clinton 3 or 4 to 1, the media is sucking his toes, and she's STILL less than a half a percentage point behind him in actual votes? Instead, they talk about how much more money Obama raised during his "bad month" on the campaign trail (if the situation were reversed, they'd say everyone just felt sorry for her). Can't the media just stop this crap and let these two candidates rise or fall on their own merit? Apparently not, cause CNN gave Campbell Brown her own show so that she can wrinkle up her face in disdain whenever Clinton's name is mentioned, and get all giddy and breathless when talking about Obama. Jesus, this is getting more and more like an episode of American Idol every day.

GS,
don't forget his $10 million line of credit.

Bush
Clinton
Clinton
Bush
Bush
Clinton (Hillary?)
Bush (Jeb?)
Clinton (Chelsea?)

The darkest days in history of the US happens in the hands of this two families: two wars, 9/11 and the worst economy ever since WW II. What other proof do we need?

Hillary asked who is the commander of chief able to make split-second decicions on 3 AM. Certainly not her. I rather put my trust in an emotional stable person with outstanding communication skills and a pragmatic approach, advised and backed-up with the cleverest staff.

Does America deserve better??
Yes it does.

Does America have nothing better??
Yes we do, his name is Obama!

Posted by: mobie | Apr 4, 2008 11:46:33 AM

I certainly do question the amounts of money Obama receives. Old habits die hard, he has a habit of receiving tainted money for his political enterprises. What to say , he still isn't? The amounts he states he receives I question, $98 per person, thats an odd amount.

The difference between the speeches of Hillary and Obama is that Hillary uses the usual muscle-language and tough talk while Obama speeches radiates energy while staying fair, modest and clear. Hillary is a type of leader (?) that is macho which come with 12 in a dozen. Obama is a maestro, a one in a lifetime leader that transcends race, nationality and religion.

Posted by: gaudi | Apr 4, 2008 11:31:17 AM

Obama has enough corrupt friends and has a history of Donations by proxy.

Only One of them has been brought to the public eye. If there wasn't a trail he would still be sitting on that money.

More of his bad judgment was dumping the 250k into charities, instead of giving it to the courts to give back to the rightful owners.

I Wonder if Obama will count thst 250k laundered as tax deductions?

Posted by: seah | Apr 4, 2008 11:21:56 AM

What all the states Kerry or Gore carried in 2004 did Obama win? That tells you how bad a candidate he is.

Caucuses are undemocratic. You take the caucus state delegates from both candidate's totals and use winner take all approach and you will see how truly bad a candidate he is.

If Obama is the nominee, 30% of Clinton voters will go for McCain.

So, Obama has a chance to become the first black man to become a major party nominee. Not President. Not after Rev. Wright. No way. It's not gonna happen.

A party that cannot come up with a clean way of electing it's nominee and uses ridiculous caucus system and apportioning delegates based on ridiculous formulae. Think how badly it will govern the nation.

It is very sad to say that the democratic party deserves to lose this election badly. Really badly if Clinton is not the nominee.

It's being showcased that the Obama campaign has a great deal more money and subsequently, a greater advantage. His campaign had over twice the money of Clinton's at the last primary, yet she won the majority of states. There's a presumption that more money means more electability, which was proved wrong with the last primary. In respect to Obama's finances, I haven't seen any explanation of the sources. I seriously doubt it's typical grassroots, with 20 to 100 dollars per contributor.

Posted by: katrina | Apr 4, 2008 11:21:13 AM

The Dems will unite and smite the mighty GOP machine as the Clinton machine has been disabled. Wait your turn, your evil will be on full display when the FALL approaches.

Posted by: mims | Apr 4, 2008 11:08:01 AM

Everything is lining up for another stunning loss for the Dems in a presidential election they should win. Bush has been a disaster. 81 percent of the country thinks we're on the wrong track. They want big change. And we're about to nominate the most liberal guy in the Senate, with little experience, and deep ties to the corruption of Rezko and the anti-American, racist views of his pastor Rev. Wright. To top it off, the nomination process has been a disorganized, confusing, illogical process. The Dem Party's worst enemy is itself. If the Dems lose this one, it may be time for a real third party.

Posted by: hopesprings52 | Apr 4, 2008 10:16:12 AM

Obama will not be elected. Come to grips with that. The Democratic party will regret their snub of moderates.

Posted by: geevill | Apr 4, 2008 10:05:57 AM

Yep. Obama has more money, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Jimmy Carter and the old-time Dem establishment behind him. He is the darling of the media. What we have learned of him since the Iowa Caucus 3 months ago may not derail his nomination. But it has prevented him from locking up the nomination yet. The GOP and wht we don't know of Obama yet will prevent him from becoming president.

Posted by: hopesprings52 | Apr 4, 2008 10:05:10 AM

That's exactly what I thought

Why can't she just admit that she lied

She looks worse b/c the American people are now realizing that she can't be trusted

If she could tell the truth once in a while... maybe her poll numbers wouldn't be so low

I believe this race will be over April 23...

She will lose Penn

Since Hillary appears to be claiming that she got her countries mixed up in the sniper fire mishap, could you get her to tell us which country she was in when the sniper fire occured?
