ElectionJournal.Org Documents Obama Electioneering at Indiana Precinct

May 06, 2008 2:48 PM

Electionjournal.org  bills itself as "an online community dedicated to raising public awareness of vote fraud and election irregularities."

Best as I can tell, that means it attempts to use citizens themselves to record and report possible voting problems. An organic mélange of media, citizenry, community, and watchdog.

Today a citizen reported that at the Crooked Creek Baptist Church in Washington Township at about 10:15 AM they "noticed an Obama volunteer had set-up directly across from the voter check-in table. We noticed that she was actively speaking to voters. The sign on the table stated 'Trouble Voting? Talk to me.' and 'Obama for America.' She wouldn’t identify herself and directed us to call the campaign for information. We contacted the County Clerk’s Office and they stated they would contact the Polling Inspector to investigate."

You can watch the video HERE.

The Obama campaign confirms this happened and has apologized.

"A volunteer and credentialed watcher made a mistake and took a sign into the polling booth that was meant for the appropriate place outside of the polling place," said spox Bill Burton. "The sign has been taken down, and we apologized to the election workers for the mistake."

For all Hillary supporters that keep using the reference to Ayers and the Weather Underground refrences...please do not utilize that selective memory and try to forget the Clinton pardon of one such Weather Underground criminal and the commuted sentence of another. That would put Clinton at setting two terrorists free and Obama only having associated with one. If you are pretending to be so outraged over his association with him, how can you not be equally if not more disappointed in the great Clinton dynasty for letting two of the same folks go? He "pardoned" them, meaning he forgave them of their sins and you are all fine with that? I suppose this is the same selective memory that lets sniper fire pass rather than a casual stroll across a tarmac. And one more note...if you claim to be ready on day one, how do you even allow for someone who was given no chance to somehow blow by you and take the lead? Sounds like someone in a very deep sleep at 3a.m. to me. Only when she saw the nomination slip away did she wake up and start working this hard...and that is what you want for a President? Someone who only starts working when they put themselves deep into a hole. How comforting.

to jayhawk ; do NOT twist facts: according to Dem Party decision. This is the one and only, who makes it.
Sure, they do not consider Clinton as a lawmaker.

To Cats Face: If you are a true Obama supporter, you should stop imitating the Weather Underground or other terrorist organizations, as there are laws in this country preventing candidates from inciting riots, and you wouldn't want Obama brought up on federal charges, would you?

to Chris : maybe You should think a bit more?
New is - to tell The Truth, no matter, how unpleasant it is. Not seeding false with every word, as Clintons. They say and promise You whatever, hoping, there are enough fool to believe ...in sniper fire.
Are You among those?

Great news.
How about to describe shoes of...candidates and votes.

Posted by: LINDA,FL | May 6, 2008 6:09:15 PM

The real truth

The blacks will burn down cities if the super delegates don't nominate Obama now.

Who can you thank for the black problem. Why no other than the Kennedy's and the Democrats.

No other race is a problem in this country except for the blacks

Posted by: cats face | May 6, 2008 6:06:57 PM

Granted it wasn't Obama it was one of his surrogates, but I guess thats what elitist, educated supporters do ha? Think they are smarter than everyone else and think they can fly by right underneath everyones noses.

Posted by: mona | May 6, 2008 6:01:19 PM

I think superdelegates have to consider that most Obama won were from caucuses. Caucuses didn't present the whole pictures of willing of people. Most caucuses are political activist that most likely for Obama.... and I wonder if those activist most likely ex-weather underground people.

Obama cannot claimed he is a winner if his winning by caucuses.

Connie,

The "reasonable distance" seems to vary with the different states. Surely, no one should be obstructing your path into the voting place. That would not be a reasonable distance. As I said, it seems to vary with the state.

This is a blatant violation of voting protocol and any rookie would know that. This Obama person was trained, I assure you. She was there under the auspices of "assisting." I would consider her a "voting observer" for Obama. I was such for John Kerry in Florida. You are trained for this and instructed (hopefully) that you are not to wear or display any signage for any candidate, unless you are at a certain reasonable distance. Further you simply cannot be allowed to set up shop in the voting place.

I have no idea how this ever happened since the voting moderators at that poll surely knew better.

In Arlington, Texas, park on the parking lot directly in front of the door to the elementary school where my brother voted were two Hillary supporters with chair and t-shirt as well as sign.

Sometimes people do things due to lack of knowledge not because they are deliberately attempting to do things wrong. And I am an Obama supporter.

Aheemm...It's called FRAUD.
Something the Obitter camp has done NUMEROUS times in Cacus states. Ever wonder why he usually wins those???

A Vote for Obitter is a Vote of Fraud approval!

"Hoodwinking, you can believe in!"

Hillary does not represent my values. I am a college educated single father with two kids (ages 8 and 10), who can see through Hillary’s smoking mirrors. Hillary Clinton is an ELITIST. She has become like The Pied Piper of Hamelin...where many voters follow her without question...not realizing that she's driving them towards the abyss.

Regarding Michigan and Florida, 50% of the delegates per candidate is reasonable and fair. Everyone knew the rules and agreed upon them before the game started. All of the candidates knew the rules. All of the states knew the rules. Suddenly, in the middle or near the end of the game, because Hillary is not winning, certain people want to change the rules.

We, the people of the United States, have a moral obligation to maintain such rules that were agreed upon by everyone. If we change the rules now, what are we teaching our children? Let’s play the game fair. Majority wins.

Rick,

Your experience voting today is truly sad.

Posted by: sherr | May 6, 2008 5:20:54 PM

The point is that the activity is illegal. Had it not been pointed out by someone who was concerned, it would have continued all day. This is so similar to what happened in caucus after caucus. Fortunately, Indiana is a vote state and so the "win at all costs" Obama campaign can only tamper so much. Thank God! Maybe Bill Ayers can blow up the polling places that don't turn out in his favor ....

To fontapa
Keep drinking that Obama Kool-Aid cause it is doing wonders for you. If this was a Hillary supporter, you would be all over the issue. Do you really believe Obama does not know these things have and are going on.

Posted by: Steve Moore | May 6, 2008 5:10:54 PM

Well, what better would you expect from the obama campaign. He already stated he is in this race to win, and win he is going to try - however - - -
Obama is a fraud along with his campaign. What a fraud.
Now his followers will of course, blame Hillary Clinton.
I fail to understand how obama can brainwash so many people. Why? I cannot find the answer because I have to believe that people are not easily led - however the obama followers are being led like lemmings.

Sure it's about Obama. It's about one staffer in one location getting caught pretty early in the day with a poster she was meant to place outside at her table inside. It's about Obama, upon finding out about it, instantly correcting the situation and taking responsibility for it.

But you guys act like a ring of Obama backing mob enforcers were caught mugging hundreds of Clinton voters on the way to the polls.

It's an Obama issue, but it's pretty darn small comparing to the "Aha, Gotcha!!" responses on this board.

I mean, it's not like he's trying to get votes counted that he agreed wouldn't count in writing and in recorded statements, using public attacks to spin the ban on these votes into some sort of mythical disenfranchisement (which he agreed to) and smear his own party just to get delegates from an elegal election where his competitor's names weren't even on the ballot or anything.

I mean, cause then, there would be some sort of outcry about fraud and stealing the election if a candidate did something like that, right?

Try to put things in perspective, folks.

First of all, the reponsibility to ensure no electioneering within a given distance of a polling place resides with the moderator / polling director. Both campaigns have been guilty of this offense and in most cases it was due to lack of knowledge and oversight. When I voted in NH Bill Clinton and his secret service was standing less than 20 feet from the entrance, blocking my path. When I requested that they move to the marked 200 foot zone, they looked at me as if I had two heads. I requested that the moderator move them to the appropriate distance and as I left they were having a discussion. I don't know if he ever moved but the point is that he should have known better.

@ Mixed-American,

Well said.
Thanks to encourage me to think it that way too.
Many of my friends said so.
