Hillary Clinton's To-Do List

May 07, 2008 7:44 AM

1. Win in West Virginia next week -- dispatch Bill asap

2. Go on to win in Puerto Rico and Kentucky, racking up popular votes as much as humanly possible (need to have popular vote argument to make to Super-Ds)

3. Try to pick off one of the three remaining "Obama" primaries -- Oregon, Montana or South Dakota

4. Argue that Obama should have won Indiana; a post-game recalibration of expectations

5. Point to ugly exit poll data from Indiana showing 50% of Clinton supporters say they will not vote for Obama in the Fall

6. Push back on Obama "achievement" in Indiana that he lost white women by only 61%-39% -- as opposed to larger losses in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Argue: What kind of crazy worldview is this?

7. Look for more oppo. Another minister? Ayers? When does Rev. Wright's book come out?

8. MICHIGAN and FLORIDA ...The number 2,025 no longer exists. 2,209...2,209...2,209... Make it a civil rights issue

9. Push the money thing - Obama outspent us significantly, and yet he cannot put us away

10. Hard sell to superdelegates. This is going to happen and we have long memories. Stay on the fence.

11. Pray.

The young Obama supporters are the ones that are tearing this party apart.
This why alot of people apporx.
half of her supporters which is around 8-9 million people that won't vote for him. We could just write her name in or
we can vote for McCain or Nader.
One thing for sure is we do not have to listen to them and be told what to do.
This not what makes the democrats a good party. When I was young we actually got off our butts and really did protest didn't just say i'm against the war. Do not even try and tell me that you did because that would be lying since they have footage of the lack of protesters especially the young.

That's exactly what I meant JORY. Those Clinton supporters that claim will vote for McCain are showing such a NEGATIVE, DESTROYING, HATEFUL ATTITUDE that we are forced to wonder if they are really Democrats or just irresponsible fanatics. Anyone that claims for a destroying vengeance instead of supporting the Democrat nominee (whoever he will be) is doing harm to this country and misusing democracy.

Im so glad that young people (including myself) who are joining the democratic party get to witness the childishness of the elder hillary supporting democrats threatening to vote for mccain. There isnt going to be a democratic party left if this is really the case. Way to lead by example!

Posted by: Jory | May 8, 2008 9:49:33 AM

HILLARY VOTERS ARE REALLY SCARY!!! How can they say they'll vote for McCain if Obama is the Dem candidate... This is crazy. They're not even Democrats; if they do so, they're just fanatics and they don't even care for America. People, please be rational and honest towards your country...

Posted by: MR | May 8, 2008 9:46:29 AM

I am sick and tires of the Obama so called supporters always putting other people down.
Don't you understand this is part of the reason why Clinton supporters have hard time with Obama.
You have all cried racism when even your candidate has clearly stated on many occasions that the Clinton's are not racist. So you should follow along with your candidate and try and be honest for a change.
There are people out here that have been following this since the beginning I have seen every one of the debates, I started paying attention from the get go. I have different views then Obama on somethings. And just like with Hillary I question his judgement, and I have for a long time now. This does not make me racist, I just have a different opinion.
We all live in this country, and if you really believe in your candidate then you should practice what he preaches, unity your to try and unite the party not belittle the party just to make yourself fell bigger or better. This is about everyone not just you, this is everyones country.

If Obama is the nominee, I will definitely not vote for him; I will vote for John McCain and will even make it my duty to be the first to cast my vote at my precinct. As much as I love and admire Hillary, she will not be able to convince me to vote for Obama.

And people who are NOT college educated. - mostly Hillary supporters.

Wow. So to sum up.. Racists and stupid people want Hillary to win...

...Something to think about...

--------------------------------------

Get real!! Do you think 90 to 100% of AA voters are even 20% college educated.
Sure, and every thing you know you learned in kindergarten!!
You must be aware we are sick of that piece of dirty rhetoric, lies and poor uneducated being fed crap, talk about being bamboozled!

Posted by: HP Boston | May 8, 2008 8:50:43 AM

Wow. Hillary apparently has been winning so much that she's behind now.

How's that for logic. The loser whines again that Obama spent more in the state. Let's face it more people want Obama to win. If they didn't, don't you think that Hillary wouldn't have to beg for cash in her speeches..?

So you think that the Super delegates should back her.. Why..?
Is it because..?
1. She has shown that she can win legitimately..?
or
2. She has less baggage than Obama..?

On another note... I hate to bring this up but....
People over 65.. basically are the people who have a lot of racist baggage.. (Can't blame them.) It's I suppose the time they lived through. -- All would vote for a white candidate.

And people who are NOT college educated. - mostly Hillary supporters.

Wow. So to sum up.. Racists and stupid people want Hillary to win...

...Something to think about...

I find it a really big joke on the DNC that they are now left with MILLIONS of "TYPICAL WHITE PEOPLE" who are now very "BITTER" and ready to vote for John McCain!
And in more OBAMA "WORDS" we "HOPE" you will be happy with the "CHANGE" and "I NEVER HEARD WRIGHT SAY THOSE WORDS"!!!

Posted by: HP Boston | May 8, 2008 7:59:18 AM

Anyone paying any attention, and surely the Clinton and Obama camps are, knows everything listed above and then some.

But thanks for listing some of the main points out anyway.

Thing is, the vast money differential, the vast left and right wing media bias, the huge issue of two states for Clinton not counting but they will count after he gets crowned and their votes won't really ever count the way they should have, the polls saying he can't win over her base, and all that other pertinent information isn't going to sway the pundits to stop and think and stop swaying the masses to a dead end. The lemmings are jumping off the obama cliff at an ever astounding rate.

When she wins KY and WV they will still call for her to drop out and people, like McGovern (who I've been comparing Obama to for 6 months) will keep on insisting despite the mountain of evidence to the contrary that He is The One in their trance like dream state.

It will take a strong cup of smack-in-the-face and bitter tears on the day after election day to realize where the dems by and large, once again, went terribly wrong.

The media has and continues to destroy Clinton.
Not one station has even investigated the win in NC.

The state was nearly 40 percent African American.
Eighty percent of Obama's voters (95 percent African American) sent their votes in as absentee ballots 2 weeks before the election.

Please check CNN exit polls on the night of the election. Bill Schneider commented that these votes were prior to the Wright scandals vicious comments.

The media has counted Clinton out in Texas and Ohio, Super Tuesday, Pa and now at the end of this election process.

Why is it that Obama didn't close the deal in the state bordering his state?
Having Obama act like a winner when he didn’t win is a disgrace to our democracy. Michigan and Florida won’t forget how Obama has ignored them in the General election.

Clinton supporters won’t forget either. Over 40 percent the “typical white” people (Oama’s words} will support McCain.
Democrats just lost the election. b

BO has not won, but he is winning, by the rules set before the contest begun and agreed to by all the parties.

FL and MI should be seated and will be, but not the way HRC wants them. She was happy to agree that they will not count until she saw that she needs them. FFS!, BO was not even on the ticket in MI and did not campaign in FL where HRC had the name recognition and he was an unknown. Seating them as is would not be very fair, and last time I checked, Americans like fair play.

BO is not asking HRC to withdraw, if you actually listened to what he said, you would know that he said that she has every right to continue and all the states should be able to have their voice heard. Most of the Dems also say its her choice and her choice only, they only ask that the negative personal attacks stop, let Mac do his own dirty work.

As for Operation Chaos in NC, there is no evidence that it worked. Exit poling shows that out of all the Republicans that voted in Dem primary, 50% went for HRC and 50% went for BO.

As for the posts in this forum, I refuse to believe that those people posting hateful, racist remarks would have voted for HRC were she the nominee.

As far as the bitter comments go, they were taken out of context completely. Let me try and spell it out for those of you who would rather listen to what people like those that brought you 8 years of W then to read them themselves. What BO said was that people gave up on expecting the government to act in their economic interests, and the only issues they thing that are left to them is their cultural legacy as in hunting and their faith in god, and that’s what they vote on. And believe me, as long as W and his cronies get to keep fleecing you, they will be more than happy to pander to you on those two issues.

As far as Mac goes, I personally like him, but I think that as a president he would be a disaster for the middle class and the bitter, gun toting, church going folk. He will mortgage the future of your children in order to line the pockets of the upper 5%. If you think you have it bad now, just wait till you have to pay $7.00 for a gallon of gas.

Attention Hillary; we all know most of your votes came from Republicans who crossed over temp. to try and help you win the Democratic Nomination. When your seat comes up, you will not have enough support from the Democratic voters to get re-elected!

Posted by: Demo Rules | May 8, 2008 5:58:11 AM

I think Obama and clinton need to come together. An Obama-Clinton ticket would be unstoppable. Maybe that is why fox has been fueling this fire from the beginning. McCain couldn't compete.
And it will bring us all together to fix this broken country of ours.

"You are right! This is a no-brainer, Obama got half of his delegates uncontested, he wouldn't get all of them today. We know too much!"

Just curious, Sylvia...what is it that "we" know (clearly not counting those poor slobs in North Carolina)?

Lets find out how Obama supporters have been bamboozled, lied too, manipulated, conned into such an emotional frenzies that all their common sense, logic and reason have been thrown under the bus like the majority of Americans who earn less than $250,000.

The formula:

1. agitate to engage emotions by telling stories of wounded veteran, the poor and uninsured.

2. Give message or spew lies

3. Heal with feel good emotions by giving feel good quotes, tell joke, tell story with happy ending.

Everything in step 2 when the emotions are engaged becomes absolute truth with out question. Why because we are hurt emotionally (Step 1) by the peoples true stories at this point all common sense, reasoning and logic have totally been thrown under the bus. Step 2. Everything said becomes truth eve if a bunch of has just been spewed. Step 3 Ensures that you feel good emotionally about the message or lies just spewed to you and again all common sense, reasoning, and logic are thrown under the bus again. This is the reason why Obama can only give prepared teleprompter speeches and Obama fails to answer questions from the audience or in Debates. He only knows how to speak using this formula in prepared speeches. Obama supporters, DNC and Super-delegates vote for Hillary and tell Obama the jig is up and tell Obama to end his candidacy for President of the USA.

I love both Obama AND Hillary! Why? It doesn't matter which of them win the Dem nomination...they're putting John McCain in the whitehouse. Thanks so much!

You are right! This is a no-brainer, Obama got half of his delegates uncontested, he wouldn't get all of them today. We know too much!
