Suzanne, I hope you're wrong about Hillary vying for the VP slot. I have decided that I cannot in good conscience vote for Barack Hussein Obama, even if Hillary is his VP. He's wrong for America; a shyster; a wolf in sheep's clothing; a Manchurian Candidate.

It's obvious to me that some of the comments made here are from people that have no morals or have not done their homework. Or maybe that doesn't matter as long as they get a female with no morals along with her husband back in the white house.
How can you support someone who lied about being under sniper fire in Bosnia? Why haven't the Clintons explain where their money came from in 07.
Hilliary cannot run a campaign. Her campaign ran out of money had to borrow money from her and Bills personal account, and she did not report the $5m as debt. She does not pay her campaign bills. She even was late in paying for her campaign supporters insurance. (if paid)
I ask, how can you support someone who cannot run a campaign? Can not be trusted.
How will she be able to run the governments budget? When she can not run her campaign fiances.
She has a real creditablity problem. I will never vote for her.
What about the Peter Paul case against Hillary Clinton coming up in October. (see the Peter Paul fundraiser video)
Go Obama!!!!! You have my support.

Hillary will win Indiana because Obama has ignored the Dem-heavy northwestern corner of the state near Chicago, while Hillary has worked it heavily, even going door to door in at least one town the other day. Both local newspapers have pointedly noted Obama's absence from their corner of the state, without which no Democrat can prevail statewide. This has been a huge mistake on Obama's part, and it will cost him big on Tuesday.

Where is Ron Paul vs Clinton?
Where is the Kantor video?
Why did Stephananoo moderate the debate?
Thank you Tapper for your article on the Kantor video! Althought you should not have pulled the video. It is clear Kantor had slammed the good people of Indiana. More importantly, this video illustrates the kind of people that the Clintons embrace. Dirty Politics!

Senator Obama has made an adult career of distorting facts about his life, career, and associates. If one would carefully read the reporters articles about the Rezko/Obama connection, one would know that at least 20 times tried to influence peple to do business with Rezko via letters, phone calls and personnal meetings. No wonder, it was pay-back time when Rezko helped Obama buy his Chicago mansion. When will main stream media cover this????
Hopefully, voters will vote for a real person Tuesday, Senator Clinton.

When are we going to see the Headline regarding paul v Clinton ??
When are we going to hear about Bill Clinton Fling with Ann Coulter when he was AG / GOV ( AK.) and before she became a right wing flame thrower.
hell hath no fury like a woman scorn , 3 time s was enough for Bill .

Hillary Clinton is A LIAR LIAR...She stated that we can choose our pastor but we cant choose our family. Do you Clinton supports know that REV WRIGHT was invited to events BY THE CLINTONS ... She choose to stay with her husband who CHEATED ON HER WHILE SHE WAS IN THE WHITE HOUSE (WOW) while he was getting his oral pleasures. WHO would mis speak about being SHOT AT!! Our troops are at war and they will not never ever forget about being shot at. Hillary even LIED about her daughters where abouts on 9-11 she claimed her daughter was fearing for her life, WHICH WAS ANOTHER LIE!!!!! Come on people let's get real, WE WANT CHANGE !!!YES WE CAN!!!! REV WRIGHT SPOKE THE TRUTH!!! and they say the truth hurts. America needs to face the fact that we still live in a very racist world.. And Obama is going to try to make it a BETTER world for EVERYONE!!!

jgaw, In your analogy if I could not trust the surgeon or felt he was just telling me I wanted to hear I sure as hell wouldn't let him operate on me since I would not trust him. I wouldn't care how smart he is. I don't trust the Clintons. Cheating and lying plays into that mistrust...

just another he man woman hater. Obama is in trouble and what do you know, they start repeating Obama favourable news. you must make your kin folk proud.
Posted by: SHAME ON ABC | May 2, 2008 2:08:49 PM
The actual clip shows a happy Clinton war room looking at poll numbers including strong support in Indiana which results in Kantor saying "they must be s...-ing in th eWhite House". The obama people ttunred down the volume and put phony subtles to turn it into a slur against Indiana -which makes no sense at all given the great poll numbers.
Posted by: geevill | May 2, 2008 2:04:10 PM
blue irish...that might be because she is behind. And calling it 'winning' when you are behind like that, trying to get SDs to overlook the numbers, well....that is called 'stealing'.
I do realize you are using the fuzzy clinton math, which equates to cheating, but hey, try to keep up....
Posted by: LA in Indiana | May 2, 2008 1:54:02 PM
Sure len...and you sound just like a clinton plant. Y'all are killing me with this bs lol such a deceitful and dishonest group!
I can tell you now, I will never, ever vote for hillary clinton. As a person of color, I have much more respect for myself than to riot or cause a riot. But voting for such a disingenuous person as hillary clinton, well, my mind nor my heart will allow me to do that.
First, I listened to white posters talk about how they won't vote for Obama, with racist statements abound....but then they praise Maya Angelou, like she is some clinton savior. If she wasn't supporting hillary....well, we all know what she would be called.
Your whole purpose is to conquer and divide....and then make some fake attempt to rally black people back to clinton, like you are truly concerned about them. lol what a joke!
The clintons have shown their true colors this election cycle. They are nothing but liars, and its sad to see her supporters become liars as well.
She will find out soon enough about black people....THIS black person she has lost.

yep, it is a fraud,
mickey kanton and fam. well known and established civil rights workers.
the statement said
How would you like to be in the white house right now?
meaning-they were feeling pretty good about the way the returns were coming in.
a REALLY desperate move on the obama peoples part.
I guess holding rallys in barns and rolling up sleeves and taking of the tie is not getting it.
so move to obama past politcal run playbook
dirty tricks-the new old style
obama has dissed so many groups it seems he is really turning out to be the candidate who will do and say anything to get elected-and REALLY only
cares about self.
Posted by: jgaw | May 2, 2008 1:42:43 PM
i really don't see what bill clintons personal life has to do with us having sen. clinton as president and me and mine getting good healthcare, and affordable college.
I could care less about his personal life
but I can see and hear and from what I have seen and heard of the three candidates
sen. clinton is the smartest.
as I have said before
if i am having surgery-i want the smartest and best surgeon there is
while i am on the operating table.
but at night when he or she goes home and sleeps in a dress-what do I care

Uh huh...Sure it is. (lol)
Posted by: Dems | May 2, 2008 1:30:49 PM
I have to admit I'm tickled by the recent 1992 video showing Mickey Kantor (Bill Clinton's Chair) calling the citizens of Indiana "White Ni@@ers". Talk about ironic. .
In the end, many will vote for the Clintons who view them as nothing more than a vehicle to get into office. Say what you will but that strategy was torn directly out of the Republican playbook during the 60s. Tell all the folks who are struggling and can't afford to send their children to college that YOU can relate because of you also lack melanin. It will be interesting to see if Indiana continues to allow itself to be used as a pawn.

blue irish,
I agree Maya Angelou is an amazing woman!! She is courageous, I think, and I profoundly respect her. she is intransigent in her support of Hillary Clinton. She knows about form over substance. That is her business as a poet.
Posted by: countallthevotes | May 2, 2008 1:20:18 PM
Jack,
Where did the Kantor story go?? Can we get an explanation please?
Posted by: Where Did It GO | May 2, 2008 1:17:57 PM
blue Irish, Umm....as far as I know Obama did not cheat on his wife. At Obama's age Bill was already a serial cheater....but I guess lying to wife and family is different than lying to other people (of which he also did). I call that hypocrisy myself....Look, I do not want get a dirt slinging contest....I just find it absurd that anyone would promote Bill as honest..It is equilavent to portraying GWB as smart and thoughtful..

I think she will win IN by 8% and I think she will keep NC within single digits. Now my dream is that she wins NC even if it was by half a point. A girl can dream.

I went to see Chelsea Clinton in Puerto Rico. The Clinton's are simply awesome. Their daughter has so much class, polish and courage that one would think she'll be President in 2022.
Hillary is winning. The reason is she is the best candidate in the race. That becomes more obvious every day.
In Puerto Rico, the question I was asked most often is, "How will the black supporters of Obama react when she wins the nomination?" I said that I don't know, but I believe that while some will threaten just as some white supporters of Obama will threaten, the overwhelming majority are Americans first and will respond by getting to work on the issues we have to face to make take back our country. In other words, fear doesn't rule us from within or without. We worship the same God and we love our children and that makes us the same no matter who tries to divide us. We'll be fine.

Countallthevotes,
It's true.
Lots of women got upset to Oprah. They feel like she is using them.
I used to watch her show.
I don't watch her anymore.
I adore DR Maya angelou for supporting Hillary regardless of race, gender.

Indy_voter,
Compare Bill at Obama at his age now?
Obama has lots of lies already.
Bill is still good person in humanitarian works for the nation.
Posted by: blue Irish | May 2, 2008 1:08:25 PM
jgaw, You forgot to mention the special interest of those who are sick and tired of the Clinton pomposity, hypocrisy, and lies and belong to the Anybody but Clinton interest. America deserves better than a rehash of Clintonism....

Why Obama supporters keep saying Hillary is stealing the election.
She is not. It's the race. She has a right to stay until the convention.
Obama has got of free rides not Hillary.
You have to work harder to win this election.
Show the strength.
Posted by: blue Irish | May 2, 2008 1:03:56 PM
blue Irish, Yeah, I guess over the years Bill just turned the liar and cheater and shameless politician he is now. Too bad he stay as pure he was when was Obama's age.....though I doubt that was ever the case with him.

cindy in nc:
Have you over clicked into the Opray Winfrey website and her blog?? There is just as much criticism there of Obama and lots about Rev. Wright. The show is not my cup of tea so just checked ou the site out of curiosity.
There is a lot on the web abut Opray being more new age religion follower than anything else. She is "spiritual" but I doubt tied to any religion so very understandable that she would be utterly turned off by Rev. Wright. She has been remarkably silent through all this. She has taken a lot of heat on her blog. I think something like 80% of her viewers are white older women. LOL Kind of funny when you think of it. Oprah was enamored with Obama, just like Barbara Walters. Kind of distasteful for women of their stature and age to be all goo goo eyed and purring.
Posted by: countallthevotes | May 2, 2008 1:01:21 PM
I think that Hillary will win IN, because her friends in the corporate media (ESPECIALLY on ABC, read: Stephanoupolos) have tried to buoy her and tear down her opposition ever since the week before PA. It's an obvious attempt to sway the public by the corporate media, and it's disgusting. I will not vote for Hillary Clinton, even if she manages to steal the primary. Four years ago, she was my candidate of choice, but I have zero respect for her now. She and Sydney Blumenthal have become horrific charicatures of the 'enemies' they have long fought. America deserves better than that.
Posted by: Jo | May 2, 2008 12:51:54 PM
Where is Oprah's support for Obama? Since her endorsement of Obama her ratings have suffered.
She went to the same church as Obama but left years ago. Yet she still supported him knowing he stayed listening to those sermons.
Read "Revenge is Sweet for Betrayed Pastor" in New York Post.

American9,
I usually don't complain about deleted posts. This one concerning the article "Obama's Misuse of History" in the LA Times has been deleted on this blog for a couple of months. The article is copyrighted but the link to it should be fine. But the caveat is that you cannot copy. So if I post the link that should not be a problem at all.

So What,, we all have opinions,
I bet some of you will vote Republican no matter who wins the Primary.
Just plain DUM
I have had enough of the abuse the Republicans have dished out to the American People.
Take deep breathes and back away from all of this and look what you have been through for the last eight years.
Then ask yourself do you really want 4 more of the same.

Good comment.
Joe Andrew keeps saying Obama is like Clinton when he was young.
What a shame. There is no comparison between them.
Bill has good quality but Obama is empty suit just talking and flip flop, liar.
Joe Andrew just wants to draw voter to believe it. He knows lots of Clinton fan still loves him.
To use Bill Clinton against his wife is a shame and no class at all.

I think you are right about the party elites-these people are professional politician and they see nothing to fill their coffer with going for sen. clinton.
Sen. clinton is getting the TRUE votes
and has american' best intrest at heart.
this is the way I see it
everyone who is supporting obama has their own special interest at heart
dnc and dem bigwigs pelosi, etc
all want positions favors etc.
the black people want well a black president-even if he is not the smartest of the three.
as an african american i want one to
but not this one=there are more qualified black candidates coming up who will be better than obama
Posted by: jgaw | May 2, 2008 12:12:06 PM
I read John Lai's posting and had to comment on the ridiculous spinning that the Clinton supporters have succumbed to. I do agree that Joe Andrew's change of mind is the beginning of the end for the Clinton's. It's the funniest thing...bad news = good news for the Clintons. And dark is light...cold is hot...and wet is dry. Oh what a web we weave when we set out to deceive!
Posted by: Ed | May 2, 2008 12:11:10 PM
Mark my words today.
The turning point is Joe Andrew.
Americans now can see clearly those party elites are trying to fix an election and spitting on the face of voters telling them that the party shall make the decision and your voice and votes don't matter.
It's a close race. Obama's lead in pledged delegates are from small turnouts in caucus. Hillary actually won more votes than OBAMA in primaries with huge turnouts.
In general election, the caucus effect vanishes and OBAMA has nothing to show but his 92% which can't get any better than 100%.
Hillary has the upswing of the blue collar workers, the real rural American living in American style, the older and wiser.
OBAMA side has only defectors and party attack dogs. They don't have anymore ex-chairman and chairman to come out silencing voters. Election is decided by the local. In every coming primaries, there is an ED RENDAL of every state to accompany Hillary.
Hillary is roaring back and dazzles the people with brilliance.
OBAMA the sitting duck doesn't have anymore leads to sit on. He is on his losing streak and his bitterness to savour.

You are right. All my posts have disappeared on the "obama's misuse of history" article from the LA Times. So, I guess this one will also be deleted. It is an incisive article and really shows the comparisons between Obama and Lincoln and JFK and Thomas Jefferson as simply ridiculous.
When I have time I will paraphrase the article, though the language used is worth the read.

Obama is going to win Indiana and NC on Tuesday. However, even with both wins, Hillary will probably find some excuse to stay in because it is not in her personality to admit defeat...she'd rather fight it out until Denver and then if she can get the nomination, she'll fight for the VP spot, to save face.
Posted by: Suzanne | May 2, 2008 11:18:24 AM
Clinton by 10 points in Indiana--dispite Obama's impressive skill with the hoops.
.
Clinton by 2 points in NC, causing much wringing of the hands by Speaker Pelosi.

Obama wins NC by at least 9% - erasing Penn gains by Clinton
Clinton wins IND under 5% --
Rush of super deleagates - who let this go on too long - starts Wednesday to Obama
Clinton will hang on till the last dog dies - she is more about 2012 than 2008 at this point
Both May 6th primary's are open - other than the Rush republicans - this favors Barack
And to the fool posting that Obama is running out of money? He has cash on hand of over $40million and Clinton is in debt over $17 million (inc $5 to herself) -- what campaign fiance numbers are you looking at?

Hillary will win Indiana big and will also top Obama in NC. Hillary will not lose another primary from here until the end of the primary season. Tuesday's voting will confirm that Obama's candidacy is severely flawed.

Obama can't win the GE and the superdelagates better not give this race to Obama he has lost the MO. and this party is going to take years to come back together Obama can't win the white working class people. I hope Hillary runs as an independt than all the old white men will really have a fit I use to think this race was about race but it is more about gender IMO I wonder what Bloomberg,Nunn,Carter,Lou Dobbs Hagel I think they are some of the players behind Obama it will just kill them to see a woman in power she is twice as smart as them and could run this country better than all the men trying to push her out.

I live right here in Indianapolis and I can tell you that it is looking good for Hillary. Being a Democrat in Indiana is not easy. Although, there are a lot of Republican conservatives that are going to vote for Hillary & regardless of what you hear the Wright stuff does matter to a lot of these people here. They want to make sure if McCain can't pull it off in November that it would be Hillary & not BO that is president. Indianapolis/Marion County might slightly favor Obama & up north in Gary but outside of that it will be Hillary. Bill, Chelsea, Gen. Clark and others have been all over Indiana for some time. They have been in every small community and town and those people love it. They are being listened too and included in the process & that makes them feel respected.
As for me, my vote will be for Hillary!

Hillary is going to win NC to bad they don't tell about all the people coming out to her and Bills events they are jammed packed is Obama running out of money he is own every show even Letterman they said if they start doing all the shows they might be out of money in the Little town of MT Airy NC 1100 packed a school to see Bill and the crowd was wild if Obama loses in NC and IN he's in trouble.since he is suppose to win them if she closes the gap in NC he's in trouble because he has a 20 point lead. Trouble I guess that is all I see for Obama. And in the GE Wright is not going away but HIllary's voters are.

I think that Hillary Clinton may win by a small margin, but will still have to fight to get to end and win the president. I hope she can make it. She seems to have more experience, and with the help of Bill, she will have better support in the office then Obama.
I am worried that if Obama gets the
votes, Mc Caine will look better as the candidate for President than a Democrat. Mc Caine is hard core Bush and we have had enough of that for 8 years

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel of our long exhausting journey of picking up the nominee.
I can't wait for Tuesday May 6th that we crown our nominee.
