Limbaugh Responds to Clinton Saying He Has a Crush On Her
May 05, 2008 5:56 PM
When George Stephanopolous mention Rush Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos" on ABC' "This Week" Sunday -- the radio talk show host's plan to have Republicans vote for Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, to keep the Democratic Congress as protracted and divisive as possible -- Clinton quipped, "He's always had a crush on me."
Today Limbaugh responded on Fox News' The Live Desk with Martha MacCallum.
“Now I understand why Bill Clinton hit on my date about a year ago at the Kobe Club in New York," Limbaugh said. "I was minding my own business and Clinton came in and the short version is he used the mayor of Los Angeles to distract me while hitting on my date. So I figure he must think it’s true too."
After McCallum said she found the story hard to believe, Limbaugh said, "he came over three or four times. He had Ron Burkle with him and the mayor of Los Angeles who I thought was either the shoe-shine guy or a Secret Service Agent.
"And he was going on and on and on about how he loved me and had to talk to me. And after a minute talking to the mayor of L.A., I glanced to my left and Bill Clinton's face (was) three inches from my date. Now Hillary says I have a crush on her this is obviously something the Clintons have thought for a long time in their household.”

Rush is a racist. Why does Tapper ignore this obvious fact in his story?
Posted by: cosmosis | May 7, 2008 2:45:49 PM
Limbaugh has a crush on Hillary? The boy is far sicker than we all thought!
And poor Hillary, imagine a pile of rotting afterbirth that has a crush on you!

Rush should have brought his rush to the Kobe Club that night. Then he may have been able to keep his date closer by!

I bet this is only a hint of what we're going to be hearing about Bill's 'hitting up' on the ladies...seems even an OLD fox doesn't change his tricks.
A vote for Hillary is a vote for another term of Bill's pantless hijinks!

Rush loves to feed his ego as Supreme Commander of Operation Chaos. I've been phoning and canvassing for Hillary the past two weeks in IN. For every OC vote for Hillary, there's a counter-vote for Obama (some Reps follow Rush, while others vote for the weaker candidate). So OC has no overall effect other than neutralizing the faux Obama votes.

Was Rush Oxyicontined up?

What an loser. Limbaugh's date would rather converse with a charming ex-president, and he surmises that Clinton was hitting on her? She was probably grateful for the reprieve. I hope she kicked Limbaugh's insecure *ss to the curb.

Newyork, Rush's comment was not meant to be an offhanded joke. Joe is absolutely correct! Rush Limbaugh told the story of Bill Clinton hitting on his date the day after it happened. AND he included the part about not knowing -- at first -- that the other gentleman was the Mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa. As I recall, in the original and long version of the story, it was either the second or third time that Antonio Villaraigosa approached Rush that he learned that he was the Mayor of Los Angeles.

Thank you Jane, for your enlightening post on Hillary Clinton..
Everytime I think there could not have been anything further she could have accomplished someone proves me wrong.
Yes! She is an exceptional person!
Yes! Most of her accomplishments are noteworthy,
Yes! My friends, family and myself will be delighted to call Hillary Clinton
"Madame President".
We wish her the best of luck tomorrow.

Hillary for Indiana and North Carolina
On the eve of primaries in Indiana and North Carolina, we offer a look at the positive impact Senator Hillary Clinton’s public service career has had on residents of both states:
As a result of Hillary’s work with Senator Lindsey Graham, R-SC, the nearly 14,000 members of the Indiana National Guard and more than 11,000 members of the North Carolina National Guard, including those not deployed, have access to TRICARE.
Between 1995 and 2002, Indiana more than doubled the number of children adopted out of foster care, and North Carolina nearly tripled the number of children adopted, thanks in part to the Adoption and Safe Families Act, which Hillary championed as First Lady.
For the 2007 fiscal year, Indiana received more than $2.9 million in grants and vouchers for young people aging out of foster care, and North Carolina received more than $2.8 million, as a result of the Chafee Foster Care Independence Program, which Hillary helped create when she was First Lady.
Hillary helped create Early Head Start, a child development program for low-income families. During the 2006-2007 program year, more than 1,400 children were enrolled in Indiana’s Early Head Start programs, and more than 1,700 children were enrolled in North Carolina’s programs.
Hillary helped pass a law that has provided more than $8 million in funding to clean up and revitalize contaminated sites throughout Indiana, including those in Gary, Muncie and South Bend. More than $7 million has been provided to North Carolina to clean up sites in Concord, Durham, Raleigh and elsewhere.
Hillary helped create the Transition to Teaching program to assist mid-career professionals and recent college graduates enter the teaching field. Between 2000 and 2006, Indiana received $1.7 million, and North Carolina received more than $12.5 million, to help recruit and train more well-qualified teachers through the program.

Not that Hillary isn't ugly...but has anyone seen Rush Limbaugh? Yuck.
Posted by: Jane | May 5, 2008 9:12:13 PM
Rush DID tell his litening audience about this Bubba story when it happened--he talked about ALL of it the very day after it happened. Bubba was on the horndog prowl and was all over Rush in a gushy way. The Clintoons are so phony. It's a damn shame that an ex-president and a president wannabe act the way they do. It is very demeaning and hillbily-izing of our country's highest office. They make America look like Hicktown and themselves look like cheap dates. Pathetic.

Watch the Dems implode implode implode!!! What a show! And the Repubs do no better with the ole man McCain! Who's going to be the best third party write-in option in Nov??? Darn - this country is going to the DOGS!

Limbaugh's offhand joke is pretty offensive: "the mayor of Los Angeles who I thought was either the shoe-shine guy or a Secret Service Agent."?????
The guy has a name, Antonio Villaraigosa, and an ethnicity, Latino, and a skin color, brown.
Way to be, Rush.

Rush Limbaugh had a date???

You BO supporters, and BO himself, have no sense of humor. Do we want a bonehead without a sense of humor as pres?
Posted by: fat cat | May 5, 2008 8:12:38 PM
I wonder if operation chaos is true,if republicans feel Hillary would be an easier target for McCain than it is quite possibly true. If it is then it is sad the democrats can't pick their own choice for the nomination without minipulation form the neocons. Did the democrats minipulate their primary in this way? They are not sure about obama, who won more red states than Hillary. They know with Hillary they would stay red,but with Obama they have a better chance at turning blue.
Posted by: merle7 | May 5, 2008 8:02:17 PM
Rush makes a funny and no one gets it. Is there no sense of humor among libs?
Posted by: Buford Gooch | May 5, 2008 7:48:39 PM
George S. and Charlie G. must be jealous. After their biased debate moderation, I was sure both of them had a crush on Hillary. By the way, they really did a very poor job that night.

Don't you mean "mentioned" in that first sentence?
Posted by: Rodney Wilson | May 5, 2008 7:04:30 PM
Rush had a date???? No way.

@tomdavie
That's hilarious! I have wondered what the heck Hillary did to deserve Morris' disdain.
I think you've got it!
Morris creeps me out too.

Considering Bill Clinton's track record...I wouldn't put it pass him

It is sick what our country has become!! All the politians should be ashamed of what they are teaching the children.

Sounds like Bill's and Hil-LIAR-ry's "Chickens Coming Home To Roost!!!" LOL!!!!

Wow! The race to the bottom is accelerating. Maybe the kaboom of the winners will be the last thing we hear from them.
It couldn't happen soon enough.

The unbelieveable part of this story is that Rush had a "date." I'm sure she was a friend who he brought along for appearances, since it is pretty well known Limbaugh comes from the Sen. Larry Craig and Mark Foley wing of the party.

Rush Limbaugh is the consummate Hilliary Clinton Supporter. Not por amore, but b/c McCain would beat her hands down come fall. To Limbaugh and the neo-cons, Hilliary is the "smell of victory," for the GOP, come fall.
Posted by: Justinteim | May 5, 2008 6:18:25 PM
This is what our politics has turned into. Absolute stupidity.
Posted by: Kevin | May 5, 2008 6:16:45 PM
It is obvious that Rush Limbaugh is the consummate Hilliary Clinton supporter. And the reason for his support of her? Not por amore, but b/c McCain could beat her without a fight in the general election. You see, to Rush Limbaugh, and to millions of Repubs and neo-cons, Hilliary is the "smell of victory" for the GOP, come fall.
Posted by: Justinteim | May 5, 2008 6:16:16 PM
Beware of your former enemies (Limbaugh, O'Riley, Fox News, Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, etc.) coming to you now as friends with open arms. Do other Dems have a problem with these media hacks influencing the Dem primary with Hillary Clinton's full cooperation? Disturbing.
Posted by: EddyNewHope | May 5, 2008 6:16:11 PM
The interesting thing that came out of that conversation is that according to Limbaugh, Clinton's private polling are pointing towards a defeat in Indiana.
That is a very worrying sign indeed...
Posted by: Mark | May 5, 2008 6:14:15 PM
Limbaugh is such a fool. I heard him tell that story today and he REALLY expects people to believe it? If it was true, he would have complained about it on his show when it happened. It's not like Limbaugh to keep a story, harming Bill Clinton, to himself. This happened a year ago and we're just now hearing about it? PURELY BOGUS! I don't believe a word of it!

Wish those two weirdos would just run off into the sunset and go away.
Posted by: BeboCampbell | May 5, 2008 6:11:57 PM
Nobody cares about Limbaugh or the Clintons....out with the old, in with the new.
Obama '08!
Posted by: JayRod | May 5, 2008 6:11:03 PM
I dont think Limbaugh has a crush on Hillary. I am CONVINCED that D@ck Morris had a crush on Hillary for years. This is why he is so bitter now.
