Obama-Backing Congressman Wants McClellan to Testify Before Congress
May 29, 2008 2:45 PM
Rep. Robert Wexler, D-Fla. -- who has endorsed Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, and may be a superdelegate for him depending on what happens at the DNC meeting this Saturday -- yesterday called upon former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan to testify under oath before the House Judiciary Committee.
“The admissions made by Scott McClellan in his new book are earth-shattering and allege facts to establish that Karl Rove and Scooter Libby – and possibly Vice President Cheney - conspired to obstruct justice by lying about their role in the Plame Wilson matter and that the Bush Administration deliberately lied to the American people in order to take us to war in Iraq," said Wexler, who has led a campaign to hold impeachment hearings against Cheney.
Wexler said he wants McClellan to tell Congress how the Bush administration "deliberately orchestrated a massive propaganda campaign to sell the war in Iraq to the American people.”

Genna - If Pres. Bush lied, then so did the Liberals in Congress, Obama on his website prior to 07, so the libs should be impeached also, they were pivy to the same info, Also Pres Clinton should be impeached, because he asked for authorization in 98'
Get over you partisan left wing liberal Socialist arrogant positions!!

More investigations from Democrats instead of doing their job. How many investigations do the Democrats have on going right now. And they never found a unpaid parking ticket.

Is it too late to impeach Bush? If it isn't let the man testify.
Obama '08!

Scott could sell more books if he testifies before Congress.

What is new in what Scott McClelland said?
Didn't we already know the Bush administration lied to Congress and the American people?
Is it newsworthy now that you have someone inside the WH saying what we already knew?
Cheney and the rest should have been impeached long time ago.

Turk is now one of the few (if any) voices with connections to that crowd who are saying, quite simply, that the book "What Happened" is steeped in little more than truth.
"After watching McClellan on Today this morning, I think the reception his book received exemplifies the point he was making," Turk told The Huffington Post in an email. "People had high hopes for President Bush to bring America together after his election and after the attacks on 9/11. They felt disillusioned by the Administration's adoption of the 'win at all costs' partisan mentality in this town. I think the bigger point of Scott's book comes from the lessons he learned while playing a part in the permanent campaign. It's an exploration of how that mindset can lead to some really bad choices."

It's about time that all this crap comes out. We've all known about it for years.
While they're at it, they might want to try them for war crimes, and violation of the Genera Convention too. Billions wasted and hundreds of thousands of civilian casualties are the evidence.
Asfar as I know, Bush/Cheney/Rove/Rumsfeld are extraditable from Texas aren't they?

Patriot and Jo it probably will be soon, especially if Obama wins, because he will try to change this country into a socialistic country where only the elite live as they want. Remember he pretty said let the American people eat cake (while they try to cater their convention with shrimp and steaks and all other high class meals)
Obama quote "We Americans need to give up our SUV's and eating because the world does not like it"

So the Dems like Wexler are going to use Congress to campaign for Obama!! well nothing new, they have been politicalizing everything.
Wexler is a low class individual who wants to waist tax payers money, I think an investigation of Congress is needed, since they sit on their fat butts investigating nothing while the libs put through policies that are destroying our economy!!
Saying he supports Obama is necessary, because it shows where he is coming from!!
An Elitist and Hate America group!!!

Sorry meant Senator Obama, Representative Wexler.
Bad typing!

Most Americans already believe that the Bush Administration has been hiding and covering up truths about the need for the Iraq War and WMDs. One does not need to be a PHD to know that, only a 4th grad education. He wanted to invade Iraq even before 9/11.

Wexler is an excellent Senator and individual.
What does his support of Obama have to do with this story?
He already has more credibilty than Obama will ever have.
So what is the point of the tie-in?
Posted by: West Texas | May 29, 2008 4:07:10 PM
Wexler is right on! And it behooves me as I (reluctantly) listen to all these news show anchors and Bush backers saying how they can't believe McClellan, and how could he, and etc. Give me a break, how can the American people be so ridiculous knowing that Bush did indeed lie to us. And so here we go again. It has already been shown that Bush lied to us all throughout the reports, no weapons or mass destruction, bombing a 'Flintstone village', bullying tactics at best. And yet with everyone knowing that Hillary voted for this lie and McCain voted for this lie and still supports it, these people still have half the country's votes. Amazing, just amazing. Like all the papers around the world said after George Bush landed in the white house in 2000, "How could 52 million people be so stupid?" !!!!

P.S. You do realize though that in an armed revolution, it will be mostly conservatives who are armed.
Regretting all those gun control bills right about now, eh? Lol.

Patriot, I agree. Let's go after the democrat party and Obama and all of it's crooks. Whoever said violence doesn't work, was wrong.
It works every time!

Armed revolution, the only solution.
Posted by: Patriot | May 29, 2008 3:35:52 PM
Yes, let him testify and it will come out he never even had enough access to know anything other than what he was told to tell the press everyday.
Scott once complained he was not given enough access!
What a bunch of crock. And now we find out the publisher of this book is a far leftwing loon with ties to George Soros.
BUSTED!! Lol. Love it.

They all need to go to jail for a long stay.
I always had a feeling that Bush was never running the government. He is always lost when the media ask him a questions. Example one: How do you feel about the gas prices reaching $4 this summer? Bush: they are I will have to look into that. Stupid man. very stupid man. I will never regard him as president.

why sound so shocked that Bush lied to get us in this war get a clue you are behind the times
