The Goldberg Variation
May 13, 2008 8:32 AM
That blatant twisting of Obama's comments about Israel was based on an interview with the senator by Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic, who weighs in on the controversy today.
Goldberg writes that "Mr. Boehner, I'm sure, is a terribly busy man, with many burdensome responsibilities, so I have to assume that he simply didn't have time to read the entire Obama interview, or even the entire paragraph, or even a single clause. If he had, of course, he would have seen that Obama was clearly calling the Middle East conflict, and not Israel, a sore. Why, there's no one who would disagree that the Middle East conflict is a 'sore,' is there?
"I have no doubt that Mr. Boehner will issue a correction to his press release in which he states the obvious, which is that Obama expressed -- in twelve different ways -- his support for Israel to me.
If he doesn't, however, I would, sadly, have to agree with my colleague, the less-forgiving Andrew Sullivan, who called Boehner's statement a 'flat-out lie.' In fact, I would add to Andrew's post, by calling Boehner's statement mendacious, duplicitous, gross, and comically refutable."

If you Obama supporters would just stop and think about it. Would a man that Obama claims to be allow his supporters to say nasty things about Hillary. NO but he does because he is NOT what he claims to be. Infact he is no man at all because he gets his supporters to do his dirty work for him. He is a coward and does not have the bxlls to stand up and do his own dirty work. Typical spinless layer. He is not fit to shin Hillary's shoes. He is nothing but an empty suit that has only one thing going for him, the RACE CARD!
NOT ME AGAIN.... But I am Flattered...!!

Obama copies Clinton's positions.
Obama bloggers copy other poster's names.
So why are Obama bloggers continuing to attack Clinton when he is the nominee?

What are the chances of becoming First Lady of the US? 1 in 300 million?

Everytime a superdelegate endorses oblama for the unity of the party, for me it just drives another wedge and further splits the party. I am voting McCain and proud to.

IN 1996, Hillary Clinton's Rose law firm billing records, sought for two years by congressional investigators and the special prosecutor were found in the back room of the personal residence at the White House. Clinton said she had no idea how they got there.

WHEN ASKED
Which should be more important in choosing a party's nominee for president?
Delegate count OR Popular vote - 80% Said Popular vote
And
Obama and his supporters said the Superdelegates should not go against the WILL OF THE PEOPLE well the popular vote is the WILL OF THE
Hillary Or McCain 2008

Dude, geevil, read your own post. Webster Hubbell defrauded former law partners. HILLARY CLINTON was a former law partner. Means she was a VICTIM of the defrauding, rather than a perpetrator. Sheesh.

By "dead ender Hillary supporters," do you happen to mean new McCain supporters?
Posted by: Bitterly clingy and proud of it | May 13, 2008 10:07:55 AM
I'm tired of this "let's unify the party" talk. That is code for "shut up and fall in line."
When is Obama going to visit Florida? That should be good for a laugh.

Oh, the brilliant techno savy have learned to sock puppet. LMAO. The two most pathetic groups in America, the dead ender Hillary supporters and the 27% Right Wing GOP bush supporters.

Obama's new concern about Israel is just Pandering for votes just like his new concern now for Florida and Michigan
Why would Obama speak before a muslim group asking for assistance for Palestine in 1990? This concern about Israel by Obama is just so much political rhetric.

Word is out to all of Farrakhan Supporters to step back and wait til Obama wins, then they will take over, maybe one or more of them will have a seat in Obama's Cabinet, He already does in his Campaign.

Hillary wants to spend 2 trillion dollars so every man, woman and child will get 20,000 dollars from the government for a jump start on a savings program. Dammit, she will buy your vote if she has to.
Posted by: Progressive Democrat | May 13, 2008 10:02:36 AM
carpenter...if you check the Ill senate site you will see Obama was involved witht he passing of 4 new laws, on of which gave health care to poor kids. Hillary was involved with passing the same number. It is public record. You can go on line in the portal at NY and Ill web site under legislature and view them. BTW.. I find it amusing that you would use the name carpentor since Jesus was one also. I don't think he would be judging people the way you are...

Hillary wants to make the Oil companies wealthier by a political tax roll back gimmick. Only her uneducated base will fall for this pandering. She is willing to give up Federal Highway dollars and let bridges collapse and unemploy over 300,000 workers just so the Oil companies can make even more money. Pathetic.
