It is not unreasonable to assume that those who have attended KKK meetings for 20 years are racists. It is also not unreasonable to assume the same about Obama, who attended a racist black liberation theology church for 20 years.

Democrats = 48 states

Republicans = 49 states (mich and florida 1/2 state each)

Sounds to me like Obama needs some R&R.

It's Heinz 57
The USA 50.

Oh, the Drama of Obama the Younger.

Once Obama is President of the 57 US states he is going to meet with the President of Canada. You decide for yourself if he is smarter than a 5th grader.

Posted by: Fred | May 10, 2008 3:59:44 AM

Obama has been to" 57" states so he says ...I know he's tired but is this man credible....everyone knows there are only 48 states (sic) according to the DNC.

Bishop

The reason we have the super delegates is to play partisan politics within the democratic party.

There was a movement to create a LIBERAL party away from Bill and Hillary Clinton.

They think they can expand the party using their liberal platform and blow off the moderates and conservate democrats.

Obama cannot win them because he appeals to liberals. He has a lot of freaky people around him and only LIberals think its not a big deal.

Posted by: tomdavie | May 10, 2008 3:58:32 AM

Trudy.

I agree. There are many who loved Obama, until they found out about Wright, the bitter comments, and just how liberal the guy actually is.

I would strongly prefer a left leaning republican over an ULTRA LEFT liberal.

Kennedy Kerry and Pelosi want a LIBERAL party. Not a democratic party.

They have no room or desire for the moderates and conservatives within the party.

BJinChicago: Well said. Obama must be stopped, not because he is black, but because he is an inexperienced, deceptive, and divisive politician. If not Hillary in November, then McCain.

Posted by: Edward | May 10, 2008 3:51:01 AM

Hillary has forgotten more than Obama will ever know. She deserves to be POTUS, but the Dems seem bent on self-destruction. I will not vote for the racist Obama and his America-hating spouse, even if Hillary were his nominee.

I will happily vote for McCain and against Obama. Hillary can comeback in 2012. I want my vote to be a repudiation of the four horseman of the apocalypse of the Democratic Party, namely Kennedy, Kerry, Dean and Brazile. I want them out. They are not fit to lead.

Obama is toast; racist toast.

I think this election has proven that the press deserves no freedom.
I think Obama would be back at the starting gate if he were not Black!
The story of Obama is that of someone whose motives, according to his autobiography, are questionable...but he knows how to work a crowd and please the press .
Like his cousin Raila Odinga who ran for office in Kenya under the slogan "Your agent for change", and like George Bush who also chanted for "Change", Obama echoes the cheer.
But the change which now seems eminent.... at least until the G E in November... will send us back to the late 50's!
And the Clintons, who have been staunch supporters of all races... are being treated like lepers by the press and by B O's followers because they have acknowledged this truism!
Ninety two percent of the black vote in North Carolina was for Obama.
Ninety one percent of the black vote in Philadelphia voted for Obama.
True some of these people and some whites really thought about who they were voting for when they (mis)voted B U T you cannot honestly say that this isn't exploitation of race and thus, r a c i s m!
The prestige of an HONEST news story.... remember them???.... disappeared early on. And the joke of Obama being swallowed by eight American flags on a podium defending his belligerent pastor lingers. His free publicity was granted again when he finally flung his belligerent pastor "under the bus". We know little of his policies but lots about his magnificent race speech and his talks of his young impoverished life... all free publicity!
Little was mentioned of his lack of accomplishment.... of his earmarking money for Michelle's employer.... of taking money from Rezko supposedly intended for heating this landlord's broken down tenements and freezing tenants.
Meanwhile, Accomplishments of Hillary have been swept beneath the carpet; All ears and eyes have been diverted to THE blue dress and her initial failed health plan. (The successful health plan which helped in the healing of 6,000,000 children is never mentioned!)
During the last debate through which Obama stumbled and stuttered, Clinton answered a question about what to do about Iran. (Obama was still trying to get thoughts to reach his tongue).
She suggested the "Umbrella of Deterrence"... not a unique idea.... but an IDEA which might have become a stepping stone to other ideas (Although I think that it's a great idea which, used with caution and p unity might prove quite worthy in its own right.
The press colored Hillary's spur of the moment response as something very suspect. Obama's posters went wild in their disdain... dis remembering that Obama was still thinking of an answer!
In addition to the prejudiced press,The DNC is broken! It has effectively disenfranchised two states full of voters from being able to select their nominee...... but it is very satisfied with itself because it's self-analysis has deemed itself G-D to the Constitution!

My point is this:
Obama is a new face. He hasn't accomplished much....so aside from his questionable associates there's not too much to fault him for.
He presents a neat presence, speaks well in front of a teleprompter... though I have seen his querulous side peeking through several times.
The press decided early on that they favored him.... and skewed their news stories his way on too many occasions.
There have been instances in which a story issued incorrect information... but corrections either required a password and a mouse-over.... or were omitted!
I think this election has proven that the press deserves no freedom.
I think Obama would be back at the starting gate if he were not Black!
The story of Obama is that of someone whose motives, according to his autobiography, are questionable...but he knows how to work a crowd and please the press .

And I blame the Press and the DNC for most of this onesided pre-determined circus which, if we are not lucky, might win us a President who is unfit.... and undeserving.

Meantime, I'll continue to back Hillary because of the three, I think she's best.

hi all, wow, yes, the media has been truly biased. we all know that. but there is one simple question i would like to ask of obama in person......what is a hate crime....and when is it acceptable for one race to commit crime on another...and not the other.....someone help me out here...i am trying to understand the words 'hate crime'....wouldn't that apply to anyone who killed someone of the opposite race, creed, gender.......why does it only apply to white on black...is that why farakhan has his boxers in such a bundle???? some one give me an answer please!!!!

I have listened to hundreds of interviews with the clintons that were class A interviews.

If they do hate her, I dont see it to the point where you would throw an election .

Only a piece of garbage would not only justify why the media would be so overwhelming BIASED against Clinton, but then have the gall to BLAME IT ON HER to boot.

Its like you dont like someone.

So what do you do?

Punch them in the face ...then DEMAND that THEY apologise to YOU ?

Sorry. This exuse for widespread media BIAS doesnt wash.

Your first and foremost responsibility is to the public trust. Not childish ego games.

Posted by: tomdavie | May 10, 2008 1:45:24 AM

There is a simple reason that the media has been biased against Hillary. They hate her. there is a reason for that, and maybe one of these brave ABC reporters will step up in a few weeks to write an article discussing this very topic. The press literally cannot stand her. It's a fact, and if the press doesn't like you, you are going to get some biased treatment. Simple human nature. The press hated Richard Nixon too. Doesn't do any good to complain about it. A good politician treats the press with respect and not disdain, as the Clintons always have. You are not a good boss, if you treat your employees like second class citizens. All you press guys know exactly what I'm talking about. It's not about popularity, it's about respect and access.
