For those of you with children under 10 his narration of Thomas the Tank Engine episodes is the best in the video series. Of all the narrators he's the only one who seems to provide thoughtful characterizations for the myriad Thomas trains and personalities.

I was amazed when I first saw his work on this series about 15 years ago. They've replaced him since but none were nearly as good.

Weird. I was listening to his album "Indecent Exposure" yesterday and woke up this morning to this news. I'm going to have to regulate my listening tastes.

Carlin made us think and laugh. Some say he was getting mean toward the end but that could be the side effects of sobriety. A sober philosopher is like a jumbo shrimp.

Meanwhile, I'm in the market for Obama's Greatest Hits: Very Old Possum Missus.

Oh come on, he was a great comedian. And very smart too. He made fun of society, in his own way.
