Re: Jimmy Carter's Announcement That He Will Endorse Obama Tonight

I haven't been so surprised since Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, Bones, Scottie and Ensign Tuttle beamed down to Alpha Centari and Tuttle ended up not making it back to the Enterprise.

sure, rationalize it. rationalize like how obama doesn't hate rednecks.

Wow, the Clinton supporters are starting to remind me of Night of the Living Dead. Let it go and support the party. If Obama had been behind this long, lost this much, and done what Hillary has already done to shoot herself in the foot, he--like Huckabee before him on the Repub side--would have been asked to step aside.

Now it's time for Clinton supporters to be Democrat supporters, put down their pitchforks and torches, and join a common cause--or they can wreck everything in sight. It's their choice and their fault. No one else's.

As for you, Jake, I love it when you reference Star Trek! Yeah, it would have been nicer had Carter endorsed Obama earlier--now he looks like the first man on the bandwagon after the team's already won the game...

Where was Al? Al, Al, Al....come home. Your brothers and sisters miss you. You don't call. You don't write. You are off saving the world, and this too is good, but we saved your old room just the way you had it before, and Mom and Dad need you right now. We're afraid of a divorce and you could be here and hold us together. Al, come home.

A loser endorsing a loser. They deserve each other.

I would be happy if Carter went back to his peanut plantation and fought rabbits.

Wasn't he the guy that met unilateraly with middle east leaders prior to the taking of hostages in Iran?

Yes, Michelle. We are proud to see so many Americans engaged in the political process like never before.

Complete the statement and its context please.

Jimmy Carter? Lol. Who cares about that peanut farmer.

Hey Jess:

I've got news for you!!!! BO hasn't won JACK yet! He won't win JACK until AUGUST! Super Delegates MEAN NOTHING AT THIS POINT! HILLARY WILL TAKE THIS TO THE CONVENTION AND PRESENT HER WINNING ARGUMENT. BO WILL LOSE!!!!!!!

Posted by: Vickie | Jun 3, 2008 4:46:53 PM

Andy E:

This is HILLARY'S night. She will kick his behind in SD tonight and is VERY close in Montana. Of course the Obama news Networks will continue to kiss his behind and ignore her HUGE victory in SD that HE was suppose to win and will LOSE BIG.

Obama is an arrogant, dangerous, disgusting, vile creature. I DETEST HIM.

Hopefully he will be imploding tomorrow.

Posted by: Vickie | Jun 3, 2008 4:44:20 PM

ENOUGH WITH THE POPULAR VOTE MUMBO-JUMBO!!!!

It excludes caucus states and gives Obama 0 votes in Michigan (untenable even in West Virgina).

The race is over. Hillary can't get anything above V-P.

sen. clinton does not need the vp position. if you listened closely she was answering a question asked of her.
would you consider the vp position if it would help with the latino vote.
she said yes if it will help.
she does not need obama or the vp.
but obama needs her if he wants a chance to win.

Posted by: america for all | Jun 3, 2008 4:37:57 PM

rhoda and andy e
sen. clinton should not join him on the stage tonight.
and i hope he does not ask her to be his vp.

he the dnc bigwig need to go down on their own.
the majority of sen. clinton' supporters will ride out a mccain presidency.
and if you cared so much about the troops, you would have listened to sen. clinton a gone with her.

she lost but it was not fair and square.
the deck was stacked against her.
but her loss is the countries loss.
obama or mccain as president will not help this country. either mccain or obama will cont. to make a mess of this country.

Posted by: america for all | Jun 3, 2008 4:35:31 PM

Hillary will have to shelve her ambitions, humble herself and aim for nothing more than the V-P. ticket for now.

Good strategy won the campaign.

I wonder if Jimmy will get a good time slot at the convention. Will Obama have any photo ops with him?

Posted by: MayBee | Jun 3, 2008 4:25:51 PM

Is Carter trying to help Obama or hurt him?

Posted by: MpCT | Jun 3, 2008 4:22:11 PM

you know, Clinton just royally screwed over obama
If he does not offer her the VP, her supporters will NEVER vote for barry

Posted by: trettine | Jun 3, 2008 4:20:56 PM

No suprise over here.
DNC an ultra left wing organization
supports and endorse an ultra left wing
liberal.
I will not vote for Hussein Obama even
if Hillary is VP.

The campaign to elect McCain JUST begun.

McCain '08

Posted by: Nicholas | Jun 3, 2008 4:17:14 PM

HILARIOUS, JAKE!

Posted by: Scan | Jun 3, 2008 4:14:52 PM

You know: Sen. Clinton said she was open to being the VP today. IF Sen. Obama invited her onto the ticket and she took the job I wonder what tune you'd be singing Vickie?

And Sen. Clinton LOST this fair and square.

She lost the popular vote. She lost the pledged delegate count. She ran out of money. She lost 11 states in a row.

So, I wouldn't worry, I think most people will recognize John McCain is a disaster for every american but partiuclarly military and women and vote Dem come November.

Posted by: Rhoda | Jun 3, 2008 4:12:10 PM

Another loser and terrorist sympathiser endorses Obama!

Go Dems. Yeah he's gonna lose big time.
