So liberals don't like the Iraqi War. Well, the Democrats were in charge during WWI, WWII and every conflict including Viet Nam up to the Gulf War. Liberals like to use body counts, so count up the body count from 1940 to the Gulf War and see which party has the most blood on its hands.

Now we have liberals and Obama talking of a windfall tax on the oil companies and nationalizing them. Sorry this is not Cuba or Venezuela, This the capitalist nation of the USA. Those profits will go to stockholders and pension funds as dividends. The oil companies are presently headquartered in the US, but they are international companies and could be anywhere. Be careful, liberals, they might move and then who will pay all those taxes?

Jack:

Obama did not WIN the primary through the delegate system (neither candidate did), and was in no position to HAND OVER anything to anyone.

Obama was GIVEN the nomination after pressure was applied by the leaders of the DNC, who set arbitrary deadlines for the SUPERDELEGATES to declare for their candidate, instead of allowing them time to make up their minds on their own schedules.

I am getting sick of Obama pulling the race card out. Never did the Republicans mention the word black about Obama. Its the Democrats who made blacks have a racist problem.

"Any American that votes for Obama cannot not, repeat, cannot be a true American." You can repeat this as many times as you want; that does not make it true. You can be as defiant and stubborn as you wish, but that is not worth noticing. You only mean to trash the best candidate for office... but you shall not prevail. The Clintons revealed themselves for what they were and were rejected. We are moving on.

HP Boston: You are so right. Obama is too sure of himself and is extremely arrogant. He thinks America owes him the presidency. I don't owe him anything and I am not voting for him and neither is my family or friend's. When I vote for a president he is not a former anti-american white hating candidate. Any American that votes for Obama cannot not, repeat, cannot be a true American. There has been a big jealousy over The Clinton's and it could be because they accomplished their goals in life and earned the millions they have. Also, I am aware that Nancy, Dean and Reid went behind the scenes to make sure the superdelegates vote for Obama because Nancy wants to be the woman in power and Dean hates Hillary with a passion. They are as crooked as Obama's pal Rezko. But things may not run as smooth for Obama as his voters think We don't know what will happed between now and August.

==============================

After 8 years of Bush it could be said that it is unpatriotic to vote for republicans. The party that took us into a war of choice under false pretense. The party that has shredded the constitution to cover up their corruption. They party that fired U.S. Attorneys for political reasons. The party that prosecuted the democratic govenor of Alabama for political reasons. The party that witheld help to Katrina victims for political reasons. The party that routinely gives no bid contracts to its cronies. The party that has taken our great country to the brink destrution and finamcial ruin. The party that questions every penny designated to help average americans but are more than happy to push any and averything that helps corporations, lobbyist and the rich. The party that's willing to ruin our country and the world's environment to make a buck for big oil and other coporations etc, etc.

Hello Hillary Supporters,

Did you expect Obama to hand over the nomination to Hillary after he won it fair through the delegate system. Come on, now. He won. What does he owe Hillary?

Posted by: jack | Jun 22, 2008 10:40:04 AM

Obama is the worse evil.

He has did more damage to this country than anyone has ever done, and he is only a Jr. Senator.

There is an unspoken Agreement between him and the black Caucus. He just had to show up and acknowledge the fact. The rest is trivial.

MCcain is on tv promoting nafta-----PERHAPS HE SHOULD GO JOB HUNTING--look aroun him i cannot believe he would be making such statements.he is truly out of touch with working people-- and i would feel the same if it were obama talking .

Posted by: rodney | Jun 22, 2008 10:29:59 AM

i have made a few changes in our business-----changed all lighting to most efficient florescent available---actually cut light bill in half----we are now in process of installing a 2000 watt wind generator which will also help----we are facing a 37%increase in power cost in 2010.if we did nothing this would be most costly.

Posted by: McCain '08

Don't worry. Obama if elected will wave his little magic fairy wand and all will be good in the world.

Posted by: J | Jun 22, 2008 9:59:08 AM

But this time we really need to do something about alternative energy sources. Had we taken Jimmy Carter seriously back then, we wouldnt have these problems now.

Posted by: McCain '08 | Jun 22, 2008 9:53:14 AM

I am not going to vote for either of these fools. This time there is no lesser of two evils.

Posted by: J | Jun 22, 2008 9:51:20 AM

mccain08
i see that the arabs are going to produce more oil--they are admitting that if we go to alternate fuel and power i will hurt them financially---all i can say is--HERE WE GO AGAIN JUST LIKE IN THE SEVENTYS.

Posted by: rodney | Jun 22, 2008 9:49:26 AM

J,

God wont have to dtrike us down. The Government is doing a good enough job of that already.

Posted by: McCain '08 | Jun 22, 2008 9:45:08 AM

quite frankly--if you think you can live thru 4 more years of what we are dealing with now--a war we cannot pay for--no jobs--high gas prices ---borrowing money from china--heating--oil--unaffordable--the poorer of our people will suffer this winter----this was not brought on by obama.take a good look at present administration.

I am glad to see that the 15% of AMericans who think George Bush is going a great job and that AMerica is on the right track are contributing faithfully to the blogs.

Can't wait to see what America will look like after the next four years of Bush and his staff. (with one change of course, McCain replacing Bush), but all similar policies in place. Get as much of the countries resources and wealth into the hands of the wealthy as quick as possible. (extending the tax breaks will save Cindy and John close to 400,000 in their taxes alone). The wealthiest 5 or 10% will get richer, the rest of us will drown as our country falls apart and suffers from criminal neglect. Wait until Katrina, in one form or another, comes to your town!

Posted by: Eileen From Maine | Jun 22, 2008 9:14:45 AM

hillary supporters will not "just get over it"...

This is for sure.

We will vote for McCain. He is the second best candidate to Hillary. DNC must learn a lesson this year - so it never plays games with voters again.

Besides, DNC should not take it for granted that whoever they nominate (by manipulation) will get our vote!!

Forget about it.

at this point in history obama is probably the best event that can happen.

Posted by: rodney | Jun 22, 2008 8:56:06 AM

why do Clinton supporters keep being antagonist towards Obama, someone had to win. it could have been either way. so, had Obama lost , would you Clinton supporters not hope every body come together to move her agenda forward? Morover , the two have very similar package for governance.

OBAMA IS NOT PERFECT, STOP COMPARING HIM WITH PERFECTION, COMPARE HIM TO MCCAIN, and feel, see the difference.

IF WE AS A COUNTRY MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY CALLED OBAMA EVEN HEAVENS WON'T FORGIVE US.

Posted by: placid | Jun 22, 2008 8:47:24 AM

Obama brags about how 90% of his contributions come from small <$20 contributors. That he doesn't want to use public $'s as the system is broken.

That's BS as he is getting 90% of his money from the taxpayers that fund the nation's welfare programs, both on the national and local levels.

So the taxpayers (you and I) are being used big time.

He's no more than a 90 day (military description)wonder on the National scene (actually 143 days).

He doesn't know much about many things and has to rely on his "advisors", each with their own Liberal agenda. The USofA is in for a world of hurt if we sit back and let him become president.

He claims he doesn't support terrorism but look at those that do and support him. They must see something that they like, in him, that gives them comfort and assurances that they will not be in harm's way from the US when he gets in office.
