Unemployment figures out and still people on the blog want to just stay focused on perceived sexism. I have to laugh at those who want to rail against media types "ganging" up on their female candidate but have no problem when McCain cracked a joke on their candidate's daughter a while back.

As an English teacher, this is the kind of analyis I LOVE. Talk about learning about a person from their writing style!

Obama ran an excellent campaign with the help of the DNC and the biased media which in the middle of the race put a blackout curtain shielding us from Hillary news so that just in order to learn if she won and by how much.... we had to go to the BBC!
But the corrupt DNC is broken and the media is fickle and just might wake up before the G E and throw its support to McCain who has actually SAT in the Senate for more that a few months and appeals to the more centrist spectrum of all voters.
Hillary's supporters were disgusted with the vile, juvenile, ungrammatical off-topic rants aimed at her..... and the venom of them lingers still.
So even if B O claims the nomination (despite his lack of popular votes!) we
feel no compunction to vote for someone who felt it perfectly acceptable.... even PAID for this slander to be slathered throughout the ether....and who has has shown no governing skills thus far.
Country before party!

Once again Senator Clinton is showing the whole nation, and the world, what she is made of, proving exactly why the majority of delegates and (just take another poll right now folks) why the country will not support her again.
I feel especially bad for Chelsea - she had some potential to carry on the dynasty.

I wouldn't get so excited about Obama, as he hasn't won the U.S. Presidency as yet. In fact, I was just reading an article about how Obama will NOT be winning after all, accordingly by the "Kerry Theory" research having come out.

BH:
You're absolutely right:
" mean those 2 books he wrote dont tell you anything about his life"
...And the hype of those two semi-autobiographical novels..... were all he had to start the ball rolling!
Some people are very easy to please....

Hilliary is a poooooooor loser. She has made it hard for the next woman. She is a self-centered individual who is predjuice and has just been undercover. If she is Obama's VP, I just won't vote. She is a liar and I do not trust her. Obama watch your back!!!

Lauren:
Two huh? Just came up with a number I see..why not three or four?? Because it really is zero that's why.
McCain 08!!

Vickie that's fine. It is your vote.
For everyone like you, there are 2 others who care about their country and Dem. Party principles and will VOTE OBAMA.
Posted by: Lauren | Jun 5, 2008 10:25:30 PM
I won't vote for Obama even if he does pick Hillary for VP.
Doesn't change the fact that he is NOT ready to lead a country.
And cindy in nc has already listed just a very few reasons he is a worthless candidate.

TO ALL THOSE WOMEN VOWING TO VOTE FOR MCCAIN TO SPITE OBAMA (see below):
From International Herald Tribune's Joan Vennochi:
Or, is "sweetie" automatically preferable to John McCain's response to a female supporter who asked the Arizona senator back in November, "How do we beat the bitch?" As the room erupted in laughter, McCain replied: "That's an excellent question."
NOW DOES MCCAIN STILL LOOK MORE APPETIZING LADIES?
Posted by: Candace | Jun 5, 2008 10:16:36 PM
JKAN stop being ridiculous.
Hillary and McCain?
Unlike you, the lady is principled and WILL STAY DEM.
In politics people lose, pick themselves up and move on.
O'BAMA '08 (Yes, he has Irish blood too!)

RW it appears that you have already left anyway.
However, I don't doubt that you will be back to the Dem. Party fold once the debates begin and the CONTRASTS between McCain and Obama emerge especially on Iraq, energy and the economy.

Linda S,you are in a fantasy land so stay there if you like but eventually you will have to wake up to the truth.
I can't wait to see the look on the faces of the Clinton supporters when he announces a VP 100, oh wait, 300 times better than Clinton. So stop dreaming, hoping and praying for something that just will not happen. Barack is an extremely smart man and will select someone who benefit the Democratic party and Clinton ain't it honey.
Finally people have to realize this is HIS decision and his decision alone. none of us have anything to say about it.
And to those who want to vote with a third party, GO! Run as fast as you can but just don't complain or whine if we get McCain and things get even worse.
Posted by: Go Obama! | Jun 5, 2008 9:47:43 PM
Hey, Meredith, that's a smart thing to do. There's 18 million Hillary people out there. Many of us have headed toward centrist McCain...the stupid Obama robots do not have the educated wits to massage our pain. Instead, in the crucial hours they threw salt on the wound, they've lost many of us for good. Don't make the same mistake. This is the time to laud Hillary and make us feel welcomed...othewise, we can as easily give you the finger and bolt toward a third party candiate.

Brian: The last number is so striking....0 mentions of McCain's name....and that is why the party turned on her.
-----------
Gratitude too: Hardball with Chris Matthews counted the number of times Sen. Obama said Thank You - 58 times. He is polite and gracious as well.

Me; I couldn't agree more.
BTW Obama's graceful manner has enabled me to return to his fold even before HRC'S concession.
Posted by: Beverly | Jun 5, 2008 9:21:45 PM
I would really like to jump in here and say something nasty about HRC in light of the word count above.
HOWEVER, in the interest of Dem. Party unity, I shall hold my tounge.
DEMS, DISAFFECTED REPUBS AND INDIES UNITE!!!

The number of times Barack has said, "that's not the (fill in the blank) I knew." - to be determined.
Posted by: rw | Jun 5, 2008 9:12:29 PM
How many times has obama said it is the governments fault.
Posted by: Sharon | Jun 5, 2008 9:08:20 PM
Hillary's supporters should unite NOW and and PROMISE to vote for McCain.
Remember, if McCain is the President, Hillary will be in a powerful cabinet position. She will implemrent what she stands for. McCain will support her.
We will never miss her leadership in action.
PLEASE, Hillary Democrats, VOTE FOR MCCAIN, if you want Hillary in power.
