Len, the problem is for Obama is the Europeans are not voting here. The American people are. I notice he is now hiding Michelle at home so she won't make any more of her comments. Smart man!!

"If the US media doesn't cover his trip, they will lose out on one of the biggest news stories in Europe this year."
The Europeans have been hanging the Americans out to dry for the last six years. They are the last non-voters we should be concerned with. We're electing a President, not the headliner at the Albert Hall.
And yes, it is time for the US Senate to hold hearings on the unbalanced coverage by the mainstream media holders of FCC licensing for the broadcast spectrum. This has gone way beyond being in the tank. This is the blatant disregard for the fairness doctrine by the major networks in an attempt to unduly influence a national election.

Please don't tell me the people in Europe will be fooled by Obama too.
Just what he needs to increase his already huge ego.

Obama's arrival in Europe will be huge news there. I have friends in London that plan on attending his speech there and friends from Denmark that plan to travel to Paris to see him there. If the US media doesn't cover his trip, they will lose out on one of the biggest news stories in Europe this year.
McCain just doesn't garner the kind of excitement that Obama does.

Come on people! Wake up!
Obama's tour is the beginning of his campaign for UN Secretary General. Haven't you noticed how quickly he gets bored of an office once he's there? On second thoughts, he's not the President yet, I got fooled by that pretty 'Obamaseal'.

Obama ought not push hisluck with McCain.
McCain is a Patriot.
Obama is risky and radical.
Too many oddball friends and mentors.
Obama is not only risky, he's dangerous from his ignorance.
The media ought to keep demonstrating how risky this man is rather than braga about a man that mentored with Farrrkhan and Rev. Wright.

The commenter is right that we can't blame Obama if the media decides to accompany him.
On the other hand, when three anchors go the perception that concentrated ownership of media is having a negative effect on the US elections is pronounced. It is time for the US Senate to hold hearings on possible violations of Section 315 of the Federal Communications Act.

"In Obama we finally have a leader who's not afraid of the rest of the world!"
He's no "leader", he's a placeholder.
In Obama, we have a guy who's desperate to get out of town.

"The MSM tries their best to paint Obama as the "president"."
Europe AND the mideast: first he can talk about going, then about HAVING gone. In between, a lot of airplanes and stage management.
It's like that stupid seal.

JUST REMEMBER GANG WHAT THE LAST 8 YEARS HAVE BEEN LIKE---WE HAVE BEEN SOLD OUT TO FOREIGN COUNTRYS AND BIG BUSINESS---OUR WEALTH IS GONE---OUR JOBS ARE GONE--OUR MILITARY IS NOT WHAT IT SHOULD BE---IF YOU THINK FOR A MINUTE THAT MCCAIN WOULD BE ANY DIFFERENT--REMEMBER THAT HE IS FROM THE SAME O-L-D SCHOOL OF THOUGHT.

mccain and the rest of washington dinosaures should be put out to pasture.
alzhimers is a fact of life.mccain went to columbia to sell us out with a nafta big business type deal----i suppose china is next--oh i forgot we borrow money from china now. what a bunch of losers.and we pay for it.

OBAMA WANTS TALKS WITH IRAN----repubs make fun of him--and guess what the repubs are doing------obama must be acting pres. as they are copying him----must be nice for the parrots.

Listen folks.....I agree that the media does seem to be supporting Obama more than McCain and making a big deal out of anything that Barack does. But, somebody explain to me how this is Obama's fault.
If you don't support the man, fine, but blaming him for what the media does is a very weak argrment.

i wonder how SUPER PARROT MCSHAME WILL TOP THIS ONE.

that should have read
Don't low-rate the hollywood actors.
anyway-obama is a humbug indeed!
HUMBUG!
Posted by: the patriot | Jul 18, 2008 7:56:40 AM
seah,
Please low-rate the hollywood actors, by saying obama is one of them.
How many Hollywood actors do you know of that can keep flubbing their lines, and still be in front of a camera?
if obama had been a hollywood actor, he would have been fired a long time ago.

No Truer words ever spoken.
"The world is Obama's Stage"
He is one of the Greatest actors of our time.
Of Course Mr Obama owes the world. He has used people from other nations to campaign for him. He has used other country citizens to make phone calls and collect money for his campaign.
He did tell his followers He is out to save the world. So I am sure he will be campaigning in each country he visit.
Rather odd, and dangerous for a jr Senator to visit other nations and presume he has the right to campaign
in those countries.
He will and continue to make fools out of the USA and himself. Probably Anger a few nations. While using his mind conditioning on their people, as he has done here.
Me Obama is just a Hollywood showman, marketing himself off as a Politcan.
His marketing team with his PR team and a nice speech, actually have people believing it. He should win an oscar, a emmy, a grammy and every award possible for his acting. He and his team have pulled it off so well.
I hope he does not do to much damage on his travels. I hope the other nations realize, he is just a Jr Senator right now, and not our leader or anything.
God Bless America, We are gonna need it.

It's amazing that the United States is so immature when it comes to politics. The rest of the world has grown up, yet we struggle to get past a 4th grade mentality.
Perhaps that's why we get the caliber of candidate we do. The truly best people wouldn't put themselves through this.
Some day we'll figure out how to get a better world. Then we'll look at a candidate differently.
Until then, we'll continue to act like kids and discuss the color of shoe laces, while the rest of the world continues to prosper and advance.

Mr. Obama's doing anything for himself with the donors' money.

With the "MEDIA ELITES" now part of his tour and fact finding trip. The seeds of Obama's Waterloo have been sowed.
