This coverage is beginning to make me sick. I mean it has become 24/7 Obama. Has the entire news service of our country been hypnotized,

McCain went to Irag after his presumptive nomination and it was barely covered.

Next headline I expect to see is Obama to Fly to the Moon.

I will vote for him in November but I fear people will stay home becasue they think he is a slam dunk to win and then what.

I just wish the news coverage was not so biased.

Obama has set himself up for a huge fall if just one of his past relationships ever comes up that is negative, and we know he is not that squeaky clean...no one is, esp in the political world.

"No walls?

Didn't he support the wall along our southern border?"
-----
Yes he CAN talk out both sides of his mouth. On ANY subject.

I just got off a plane where I overheard a bunch of people talk about how arrogant Obama is. They were actually laughing about him in his overseas trip. Of course I totally loved listening in.

He's spreading a "message" alright, but it's not the one he wants.

Can't wait for The Messiah to lose and lose big this November. :)

It is highly unusual and highly inappropriate for Barack Obama, who is NOT President, to go overseas and call for foreign troops to assist ours.

In fact, it may very well be a violation of the Logan Act and he could face charges.

The media driven Obamarama continues in full force today. It's all an illusion, albeit a dangerous one.

The media will NOT decide this election, the people WILL.

Today, Obama's inexperience and unpreparedness is glaringly apparent.

New polling suggests the media driven King of World Tour with Obama is not working, Obama is losing major ground in the swing states.

Where's the bump?

Obama is not electable.

The Dems would be very wise to throw Obama under the very crowed bus with his pals and nominate Hillary Clinton, who remains the most qualified, most appropriate, most electable candidate for President.

The DNC MUST open up the convention next month in Denver to include Hillary and Obama in nomination, allow speeches by and on behalf of BOTH Hillary and Obama, allow BOTH names to be on ballots, allow voting, allowing ALL VOTES TO BE COUNTED! The superdelegates will decide this nomination as neither Hillary or Obama have earned enough delegates on their own. Hillary has already won the popular vote, winning MORE votes than ANY candidate of ANY party in history!

While Obama is making a complete fool of himself overseas, Hillary is hard at work in the U.S. Senate fighting for US!
Hillary rocks!!!

Now, that would be real democracy in action! Let's do it! Call, write, demand that the DNC open up the convention. What are they afraid of????

"I know that I don't look like the Americans who've previously spoken in this great city."

FACT - not implication.

"The journey that led me here is improbable".

Not fact, but very true. With all due respect, he is the very first to enter the rhealm of actual presidential contender.

"America has no better partner than Europe".

Then do tell me, who is a better partner? Will you say Isreal? Perhaps then I will mutilate your words to my perception and say that you only say that because they have more money...

We can play sentence manipulation all night long. My point, I did not take any of the sentences Obama stated to mean ANY of the things that you implied.

NONE OF THEM.

"I know that I don't look like the Americans who've previously spoken in this great city." ---In other words, I am "black" he brings the racial subject up in the first few words. "The journey that led me here is improbable". Meaning unbelievable that a "black" man would do this in America. That is because Mr. Obama we are a nation of many cultures---but you are short sighted to think that you can't succeed if you are black in America. We have top people in our government, our scientists, our entertainers etc., that are all "black" or haven't you looked around. Your premise is that I am sure everyone caught is if you are not elected it is because you are "black" and America is a racist nation. And, I know you wanted to get cheers so you said, "America has no better partner than Europe". Europe isn't are "best" partner----America has a lot of allies that have sacrificed and given a lot, so they are all second best?

I am not delusional. I take no medications whatsoever.

If you just scroll down the blog a bit, you will see my previous post.

I do NOT think Obama will change Washington or the world. Don't be silly.

He does and has excite/d the public to change it however. As I said in my previous post, so many have forgotten that Washington does not make the rules, we do. it's about time people crawled out from under their rock or their bubble world and started holding Washington accountable.

Not the citizens nor the government of this country are perfect. But blind ignorance breeds things like Blackwater, Haliburton, and a war in IRAQ.

Anyone who thinks Obama The Political Opportunist is going to change Washington is delusional! Watching you minions lap up his empty promises and rhetoric would be funny if it weren't so sad and potentially dangerous for the future of our country.

Belle Star-
You seem like a mighty enclyopedia with a comment and answer for everything-

However,
I could counter you in many ways, but I will only in one-
We, the US, help fund and empower the now called Taliban for many years. Now, our government says we must fight them. Perhaps we should be more careful who we fund and train in the future.

"It was a great speech"

For a second-rate public high school, maybe.

I think Obama must just go home! Leave Europe alone Sen. Obama! We, Europeans don't want here our disgusting tactics. Why is he thinking he can teach us our history? We know what happened here without telepromter.

Yea I think this trip was a home run. But the repubs. will just say "HE'S PANDERING TO TERRORIST!" Just to try to scare up votes. Im telling you Mcsame will say it within 4 days. $500 on it!

Posted by: Joe | Jul 24, 2008 5:09:29 PM

It was a great speech and was wonderful throughout this week to see just how many people in other countries believe we all need change in so many ways.

I see so often the negative posts on so many blogs. I am ashamed by the racists remarks and feel pity for those who have no hope left in their heart.

I'm old enough to know, and young enough to know the last 8 years were not right.

I'm not voting for Obama because I think he can fix the world, I'm voting for Obama because he encourages the citizens to do it. So many in America have forgotten that the government works for THEM. We have gotten lazy and uninformed and scared into thinking a certain way.

It's about time we flip a wrench in that Washington machine.

If O'Blabla's so concerned about "countries with the least", why's he so het up to escalate the assault on Afghanistan?

Er because the are harbouring the terrorists that launched the first attack on American soil since Dec. 7 1944...I really hope your kidding and you are not completely clueless.

"This is such an inspirational and great healer/teacher/leader!"
-----
Yeah? Let him heal his FISA vote and Afganistan saber-rattling.

Posted by: Belle Starr | Jul 24, 2008 4:53:19 PM

Such a different message & vision than the one we had for the last 8 years built on greed, fear and war. Barack's message is on the oneness of Humantiy and our shared and common goals -- that we are all of us in this together and that we live in a Global Society. It was based on love and goodwill toward each other. That we are not alone and without hope. That there should be a freedom from fear and want everywhere in the world and that only united can we build a better world for all. What a great vision to aspire too, especially for the young adults and the children of the world. Gives them something to look forward to other than years of war and hate.

This is such an inspirational and great healer/teacher/leader! Is it not great that we are talking about peace and unity for a change? Our common humantiy? That speaks a lot in itself. It is unintelligent to think that we are not interdependent and that what goes on in what part of the world, effects us All! He generated a lot of powerful, healing engery today. We must not loose it.
