Good riddance to Gramm, but who really believes he is gone? Unlike Rev. Wright, who had no policy decisions for Obama, Gramm IS the architect of the currect recession--no wonder he does not want to admit we are in serious straits. He also is the architect of McCain's whole economic non-policy.

Ask yourselves this: have the prices of things you need (food, gas, energy, housing) gone down since those industries have been deregulated? Deregulation only helps the "haves" in our society...not the 90% of us who work hard. Obama in 08!

It all comes down to whether or not you think we should continue the bush policies. If you think the war should continue indefinitely, while we spend $10,000,000,000 a month, and you think that bush has done well with the economy then mc-more-war is your man. If you think that it's time we start to get out of iraq and do some positive things for the average American instead of just the top 1% then vote for Obama.
Obama will be GREAT in 2008!!!

I'm still trying to figure out why mccain confused the Packers with the Steelers last week while speaking to a Pittsburgh crowd. He said he used the names of the famous Steelers Defensive line of the 1970's, too bad these guys weren't even playing when mccain was being interrogated. He is either going senile or he was trying to pull one over on the Pittsburgh crowd, either way this is BAD news for mc-more-war. Some people would rather hear feel-good stories of Hope and Change with no real substance.

McCain has had trouble with a pastor he went out and sought the backing of, and his top economic advisor who he has been allied to for a long time. Both therefore where in a position to be speaking for his campaign. These are the people McCain picks to back his campaign.

The only thing that scares me more than a McCain presidency is a mccain presidency with Phil Gramm as the sec. of the treasury. Lord help us all.

I cannot possibly fathom anyone using an article about Phil Gramm to post about someone else having a problem with proper English usage.

FYI, THIS is the actual quote from Barack Obama. Obama should master the English language himself. Obama should learn you do not being a sentence with "you know" "but" or "and" etc. L was correct. Obama quote follows:
