McCain: Obama Will Take Away Your Weird Trendy Plastic "Crocs"
July 07, 2008 2:27 PM
In his Denver, Colo., town hall meeting just now, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said that the trade policies of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, will hurt the ability of Americans to sell to foreign markets those weird trendy plastic "Crocs."
"Five years ago, the outdoor footwear company, Crocs, was started by a couple of entrepreneurs with a great idea, ingenuity and drive," McCain said. "This former small business now employs 600 people in Colorado alone, and sells over 50 percent of its products in 90 countries around the world. Building barriers to Crocs or any American company's access to foreign markets will have a devastating effect on our economy and jobs, and the prosperity of American families."
Watch the VIDEO HERE.
McCain: Pro-Crocs.
Who says he isn't up with the latest styles, the rock and the roll and such?

Who said I would support McCain? But, at least, on nuclear energy, McCain is better prepared, although not enough, than BoO. Obama has no idea on this issue. He is only bogged down by the petty problem of "disposing waste" to water down restrictions because some company contributed to his election campaign.
Have some new ideas, Innovation, to solve the small inconvenience of "nuclear waste". With 10%, or even 1%, what you have spent in Iraqi, there will certainly be a solution. Carry it to the Sun if you have to.
What BhO does? Nothing in the next 10 years. Do you think you really have the time to waste, talking about waste?

Smart guy McCain! The one bright spot of our devalued dollar is that our foreign export markets are more profitable than ever.

Wright! A street organizer background is all he has, preparing him to be the president.
Gee, it's not a complete loss. Finally, I see what a street organizer's job is - to get people off the street. Not sure why you need to get people off the street - if people need to walk on street, why you need to get them off street.
Enlighten me what jobs have Obama created for the people he got them off streets.

BIG DISCREPANCY IN MCCAIN'S BUDGET COMMENT HE MADE TODAY.
On April 15 McCain backed off a February pledge to balance the budget in his first term. John McCain in an interviewed with Michael Cooper of The New York Times said that McCain said “at a news conference … that ‘economic conditions are reversed’ and that he would have a balanced budget within eight years.” Just today McCain said he would balance the budget in four years and McCain advisers admitted that the document is a "repackaging" of previous policies. Why hasn't the press and media call McCain a flip flop since he stated in previous interviewed he would balance the budget in eight years?
--- What is the different between “repackaging” and “reshaping”? I don’t see any media going frenzy about McCain’s budget discrepancy. McCain can "repackage", but Obama should not reshape his policies on Iraq.

McCain reminds me more and more each day of Ross Perot. He'll probably poll as high if he's lucky.

China's products and manufacturing are cheaper because you have overwhelming lapses in labor standards.
So not only do American workers get hurt with the trade policies as they are...but so do the workers of China.
and Obama has lots of energy plans...
READ HIS PLATFORMS.

Maybe John McCain wants to take a closer look at the guy who founded crocs (western brands a little closer)
this was taken from an artivle a year and a half ago in Forbbes...this is the guy they wanted to give that loan to.
Other woes abound. In May George B. Boedecker, Crocs' cofounder, largest shareholder and former chief executive, abruptly resigned from the board the same week he was arrested on an accusation that he threatened to slit his brother-in-law's throat over his sister's nasty divorce.
Perhaps more worrisome for the company, in a recent SEC filing auditors found "material weaknesses" in Crocs' internal controls and financial reporting for the years 2002--04.
that's right give the little company a break
bad example Mr. McCain

i agree with rodney we need fairness and balance in world trade to protect jobs businesses everyone

====
You meant "controlled economy", "planned economy"?
Which part of capitalism taught you "trade to protect jobs and everyone"?
Which part of "Made in China" is unfair; simply because perhaps labor is cheaper in that country?
What about Innovation in America so that you will have jobs? What Innovation does BO have? He even dismiss the future energy resource, nuclear power, by having no research nor innovation nor creation in the next 10 years.

obama said he will make enviormental jobs does mccain even know what that means

read Obama's platform before you blather misinformation...Obama has a plan to create lots of jobs, jobs for the new century...not the one that McCain understands... ...his plan is much more than McCain's...
but that would take being informed to know that...ugh.
Posted by: dl | Jul 7, 2008 3:51:48 PM
i am afraid this will be our last chance----another 8 years of the same will totally ruin us------mccain very simply put is just too dumb-----every time he opens his mouth we are assured.
sorry gang but all the obama bashing will not change that FACT.
THINK IT OVER. BYE
Posted by: rodney | Jul 7, 2008 3:51:03 PM
He got the facts wrong, Crocs was started by Canadian entrepreneurs, the guys from Colorado just bought the whole thing while the product was already developed...
Posted by: Patrick Gilbert | Jul 7, 2008 3:50:31 PM
oh they know why rodney what can they do but some boneheads want to go and put mccain in there when we clearly can see we will get more bush i guess the unemployment lines will just get bigger with mccain as president
Posted by: ANGIE | Jul 7, 2008 3:49:15 PM
Soetoro No!
for once put some facts down...
You can't because the argument is wrong and empty.
You still have never read obnama's plans... or heard him speak in person...
you probably haven't even heard or read McCain beasides news clips on tv..lol
Obama does prove that some people can get fooled all of the time... here is a guy that is overwhelmingly right in the face of a falling country and an opponent that will sink us further down that road (as he clammers the bell for war against Iran...if you actually listened or read his AIPAC speech)
but yet some people can be fooled because they are dumb and afraid so they will vote for McCain.
