Wine and Cheese: Ventura to Announce Tonight?
July 14, 2008 4:36 PM
The Midwest Wine Connection, which was where former Gov. Jesse Ventura, Ind-Minn., in an interview sparked conversation that he might challenge Sen. Norm Coleman, R-Minn., and Al Franken for the US Senate this year, reports that: "Former Governor Jesse Ventura has made a final decision on whether to run for U.S. Senate, The Midwest Wine Connection confirmed this afternoon with a source close to Ventura. There is a better than strong chance, according to the source, that Ventura will announce his intention to run for the U.S. Senate during an appearance tonight on CNN's 'Larry King Live.'"

UPDATE: Nope! Ventura said he wasn't going to run.

Well, if Jesse Ventura does run and WIN, that would be great for MN and the US. However, if he runs and does not win, there's likely a slot for the fiscal conservative, social liberal in an Obama cabinet. Likely with an office next door to Arnold Schwartzenegger's. I can see Obama easily working with both of them.

A comedian, a wrestler and a republican walk into an election. Sounds like a joke doesn't it?
