A Line That Probably Sounded Tougher to Obama Than It Did to McCain
August 19, 2008 11:04 PM
"I am a big believer in winning," said Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, in Raleigh, NC, tonight. "I don’t intend to lose this election...John McCain doesn’t know what he is up against right now."

Panic time in Obama-land.
Democrats - it is still not too late to choose a new Democratic Presidential candidate!

DemocratNoMore2, you wrote: "Obama's communist marxist ideology is also getting through to the public." The latest Reuters/Zogby poll has McCain UP by 5 points!
With years of tutelage from Frank Marshall Davis and later Saul Alinsky; twenty years of mentoring by the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr.; and some spiritual advising by Father Michael Pfleger; it is impossible to believe that Sen. Obama does not share at least some of their radical views.
Wake up America! Do your homework before you vote in November. If you share these radical beliefs then Sen. Obama is your man. The Left will call you a racist for not voting for Sen. Obama. Don't fall for that! Race has nothing to do with it! If you disagree with these radical ideas and theology, then vote for someone other than Sen. Obama.

Barry wants show McCain the "Chicago Way."
Watch for the real Obama to emerge now that he's behind.
And then things will only get worse for Obama.
This ain't Chicago any mroe, Toto.

Were I McCain I would take his threat seriously. Obama looks pretty, sounds pretty but if you look at how he won his first seat in Illinois by "back stabbing" his opponent and then the people that" I didn't know them as being like this" now under the wheels of his bus. For all the years we heard the moans and groans of democrats whining about the money republicans had and now seeing box seats to the "well heeled" being sold to Obamas grand acceptance speech - it does my heart good to see hypocrites in action. If one has to volunteer time in order to get a glance at Obama whats next, a ten spot on the way in to pull the handle for the man?

It's a joy to watch lefties and dems in a panic. The MSM is in disarray in how to handle the ineptitude of Obama. Since lefties and dems depend on MSM for "news" they too are left in total chaos.
Latest polls..McCain surges over Obama by 5%. Ain't life Grand?

The press mantra has begun...
"The Republicans are tough...the Democrats are weak.
The roles have already been established by the media (based on McCain's celebrity attack ads), and there's no turning back.
Great job, media! What's it like eating directly out of McCain's hands?

sounds like we should be calling international observers to make sure the DEMOCRATS don't rig the general as they did the primary.

I know for a fact that Democrats rig elections by busing people to multiple voting sites to vote many times in an election. The UNIONS bus the people who are illegal aliens usually from Mexico. It is all very easy because the people are not required to show identification. These people are very dependent on assistance and they do as told. The UNIONS get huge contracts back from the governement after the election.
This is true becauxe I know a top union man who brags about it. They also bus the people to stores to shop lift. they then buy the stolen goods at half price from them. the union people say they are helping these people earn a living. That the only way for them to earn a living is to steal. So aparently it is good for the unions to help these people steal.
America today.

On TV last night one commentator said as of Tuesday according to the polls if the election were held on Tuesday that McCain would win in the electorial college. that tuesday was the first time that mccain would win according to the polls. Obama is going down fast. apparently his recent TV debate killed himself at that church.
Obama's communist marxist ideology is also getting through to the public.
Maybe Hillary is correct that Obama can not get elected. What did she see in Obama that would stop him from election.
As a life long loyal Democrat I want nothing to do with Obama.

Right. American hero John McCain survived over five years in a brutal North Vietnamese POW camp, so I think he knows what tough opposition is. Meanwhile, whiners Barry and Michelle talk about having to pay back student loans to go to some of the best schools in the world as if it were torture. Give me a break.

They only made a million dollars last year so it was a tough year to pay loans.

And Obama's so intent on winning he's looking for more cash! And let's see how he's getting it -- by charing fat cats $1,000 for good seats to his coronation speech. And I believe really big donors can lounge about in the luxury seats.
So really, this whole "bring the speech to the people" was more a way to turn his acceptance/coronation speech into a massive fundraiser.
Hmmm, remember how santimonious Obama was about not taking public funding? What a hypocrite.
[[Barack Obama’s big-money donors are being offered premier seats to his acceptance speech at Invesco Field at Mile High, according to information obtained by The Denver Post.
Top fundraisers for the “Obama Victory Fund” were offered club-level seats through the end of Monday for $1,000 apiece. Also, the biggest donors to the Democratic National Convention’s host committee and select VIPs are getting ultra-plush suites at Invesco.
The Obama campaign and its partners at the Democratic National Convention Committee have 8,300 club-level seats. If all were purchased, it could mean a cash infusion of $8.3 million.
That can be added to the million-dollar price tag the DNCC has put on the luxury suites at Invesco. All in all, the acceptance speech delivered by Barack Obama is turning out to be a fundraising bonanza for a party looking to sell out to the kinds of contributors Obama publicly eschewed in June:]]

If Barack Obama is a front for crony-Tax&Spend democrats looking at a population like wolves-looking a frozen deer carcas(not so much in the head-lights)..I quess you can include the Ted Kennedy politics that search for a "Clean" candidate..Front-ism..and Tax&Spend--like a human play in jobs..you get what(??)..cheap history.

Simply spoken/Barack Obama might want to remind the young that the ends justify the means..or as might be a filter/bribing with sugar catches more flies than bribing w/vinegar.[end]

Sorry, dl, but Biden said today that he is not the man. (Actually, Biden would have made a good POTUS, but early on Obama's team called him a racist because he called Obama "clean." Remember?)

Character before marketing; country before party. America cannot take another four years with an inexperienced egomaniac as POTUS, especially one who like Bush can't make a coherent sentence without a teleprompter.
There is absolutely no substantive similiarity between DR Martin Luther King and Obama, or JFK and Obama. (How sad that Ted Kennedy tried to feed us that bullcrap.) MLK and JFK were men of personal courage and experience(like John McCain). They didn't have trouble talking without a script, because each spoke from their heart about his vision for America (like John McCain).
God bless America and John McCain, the 44th POTUS!
McCain 2008!

It sounds like a desperate call to the Lady of the Pant Suit.
I am ready to take George 50-1 bluff bet

Zowieeee, now would you look at that! According to Real Clear Politics, who have been diligently counting the electoral votes, with Obama ahead all this time; as of today, McCain is NOW AHEAD, with no toss up states.
So those of you crying: "polls don't matter, electoral votes count"....hahaha...read em and weep.
I love it!
President McCain......maverick, hero, patriot.
Americans are too smart and too proud to choose wrong this time.

It's amazing that the supporters of McCain seem to think this guy has not changed his mind about anything, and IN FACT, he has switched his position on EVERY MAJOR ISSUE to get the support of the right-wing nut cases of the GOP !!!
As usual, the GOP uses themes to describe the opponent. . .and actually it DESCRIBES THEMSELVES !!!! Classic.
One problem this year. . IT WON'T WORK.
There are many progressive internet sites; radio; blogs, etc. . .which EXPOSE McCAIN for the fraud he is. . . .because just because he was a POW, DOES NOT MAKE HIM PRESIDENTIAL.
He has to Earn that position like everyone else. . . .so with his $$$$, and lies, and Corporate lobbyists, he thinks we can't put it all together !!
Obama may not be the Best candidate, but to continue the superficial, "I'm a legend in my own mind", Bush administration policies, would be a disaster for this country !!!!!

In the Ohio poll this week, Obama and McCain are tied. Obama had been ahead, but no more. You remember Ohio, big swing state, that Kerry lost to Bush? The one that HIllary beat Obama by more than 10 points? But more enlightening, is that 89% of Repubs in that state support McCain, while only 75% of Dems support Obama.
How pitifully sad, embarrassing, and pathetic, that ONE QUARTER of your own party, doesn't even support you! What does that tell you, super D's, about the gross mistake you are about to make? DNC you just made the stupidest error, falling for the hype, and pushing a fraud and loser, who can't even get support from his own party!!!
LOL! President McCain, count on it.
Posted by: decentAmerican | Aug 20, 2008 3:49:19 AM
Yes, Obama really gets things done and improves lives. Just ask those people still in their dire straits in Chicago. Lol.
What a fraud. Thank GOD he will lose in November!
