Did Edwards' Lies Hurt Biden and Richardson?
August 11, 2008 12:23 PM
Some former Clinton aides are suggesting that by remaining in the race despite having had a recent affair, former Sen. John Edwards, D-NC, hurt the candidacy of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY.
I'm not so sure.
New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson came in 4th in Iowa, maybe Edwards' voters would have gone to him.
Or perhaps they would have flocked to two other white men in the race, Sens. Joe Biden, D-Del, or Chris Dodd, D-Conn.
Clinton folks say their polls showed Clinton would have gotten about 2/3rds of Edwards' Iowa voters.
But as I recall, Clinton's Iowa polling was pretty God-awful.
The bottom line is gaming such a thing out is futile.
But, for those Clinton supporters who are increasingly like the Imperial Japanese Army soldiers found in the Philippines, Thailand and elsewhere decades after World War II ended, I guess it fits in with the general mindset.

I would like to see news media stop printing these stories about John Edwards. Hilary Clinton campaign aide stating she would have gotten the votes, is all a maybe. One news article statistical info released states more of these votes would gone for Barack Obama. Hilary Clinton got some. None of these statistics actually mean anything at present.
We are all trying to come together as a united Democratic Party. We can all heal our wounds if we try. I am Republican and just can not see another four years of Republican policies. Hope we can let bygones be bygones and move on to win this election as a united force.

With Obama we will have 2 Peloci's and a Harry running the country. They will be more liberal than Karl Marx.

Maybe you should just satisfy your pathetic prurient interest with a brand new copy of some magazine. At least their fotos are better than the Enquirer's, and there are ads for all kinds of weird stuff.

"We are planning a third party,"
-----
There are already dozens of third parties, and the paperwork to establish a new one takes a long, long time.
The challenge for THIS election, if the mob-friendly "post-partisan" and his organization have taken over the Democrats, is to bring existing third-party candidates into some kind of coalition, and to establish some kind of hard-copy communication that doesn't go through the Internet cloud.
Okay, kids -- whoever's been stockpiling those Ditto machines:
now IS the time for all good persons to come to the aid of their Constitution. What's left of it.

Lets make our list so we don't forget who not to vote for:
Bill Clinton, Adultery
Edwards, Adultery
McCain, Adultery!
I see a pattern here....

Belle, I hear your black helicopters coming over the hill...
The NE will be releasing verified stuff on Edwards in dribs and drabs in the coming weeks, exposing even more lies.
It's a sad, sad day when the NE has more credibility than the main networks!
I, for one, am looking forward to the entertainment of it all.

Yeah I got EDITED also, must be a slow posting day for the site. Most days it is delete, delete. delete!!!!

Maybe people are busy ducking and covering, and/or wondering how to get out of the country, on account of this, er, WAR business.
Or maybe the electricity's ALREADY off in most of the country, and they're not telling us :^)

Jake,
Regarding bringing it to the UN Security Council remarks.
I loved the way you made Richardson chew on his shoe sandwich.
BTW Alice is a doll.

Jake is such a great reporter, but the comment policy here is quite puzzling.

"the news that Edwards had the NERVE to run for President knowing that he had this affair in his closet ... "
-----
Aside from the white domestic partner who preceded Michelle Obama, what's in The CHANGEling's closet?
Maybe it wasn't an "affair", but a politically-connected aerosol dose of brain-begone, followed by a non-consensual foto session with who-knows-WHAT.
(And if unsullied sexual uprightness were a requirement for candidacy, we could stop bothering with the expense of these sham elections.)

I would still like an explanation about the comment policy at this blog.
My comment 2:08:59 was edited, which is your prerogative. However, it no longer makes the point I was making.
Why not just delete it?

Okay: why no followup on the supposed basketball injury for which The CHANGEling went to the hospital in Chicago on returning from overseas?

Okay, I am scanning the Examiner now looking for the answer. (chuckle)

Is everybody swallowing this "he strayed" story whole? It's fishy to the max.
Posted by: Belle Starr | Aug 11, 2008 1:21:24 PM

Anyone with half a brain could not possibly swallow the "story."
Belle we have everything shoved down our throats, spit it out and look at the garbage! I do.
Hey people question, question, question! Question everything, question everybody. No one and nothing are what they seem!

If the democrates don't nominate Hillary they are going to lose. Obama isn't half the man McCain is, but Hillary is.

If The CHANGEling should walk off with the nomination, look for a sudden change of heart on that.
